I haven't had St-hubert in many years & decided to give it another try. This time for delivery.

PROS
- Super easy ordering through their website, but a little disappointed they have a driver tracker like Uber or DDash
- Chicken was VERY tender & nice rotisserie skin
- Very nice coleslawe
- Sauce is a classic. Salty yes but that's the way it's made.

CONS - This is where they lost the 2 points
- Delivery took forever. I ordered at 4:15PM on a Saturday. It should not have taken over an hour.
- Because of the lateness of the delivery, the food was LUKEWARM!

Overall a mixed bad, but disappointed. Next time I will pick up.

I really like this restaurant however, the last time I was there, I asked them to flip over the chicken leg in the box that I was taking for takeout because it was skin down. So the girl gives it to the one of the boys in the back, he uses his bare hands to flip my chicken over & they walk back & give me the box. I asked for another piece. So then my box was given to another Employee in the back, not the one who touched my chicken with his hands, & this employee took a fresh new piece from a metal pan using tongs. That is the way it should be done. Using tongs & not bare hands. Otherwise it's just disgusting & I have no clue where his hands have been. I sent an email to customer service & they are actually defending the use Of this employee using his hands to flip my chicken over.

It's the second time I eat here & both times I was extremely disappointed. The first time I did take out the chicken was so stale & felt it was sitting out for 2 hours. I gave it the benefit of the doubt & ordered take out again & it's worse than the 1st time. The bread was burnt & so stale & dry, I felt like I was biting into a rock. & not to mentioned the chicken being burnt & dry. I couldn't even finish it & threw it in the garbage, biggest waste of money!! Avoid this place at all costs!!

Disappointed, especially as long-time customers.

We ordered St-Hubert for my parents expecting decent chicken, but it was really dry. My mom genuinely thought it was from the night before. My son's Nashville chicken wrap was also dry, except it was drowned in oil, which didn't help. The fries were limp & added nothing to the meal. Dining in is usually a different experience, so I've added a star for good measure.

For what we paid, this just wasn't acceptable. We've been customers for years & expected much better quality than this. We're currently contacting the restaurant to request a refund or some form of resolution.

Last night I decided to go & have some takeout chicken from St. Hubert BBQ on St. Charles in Kirkland. I have to say that disappointing is an understatement. The chicken legs were small & so dry that it was inedible. It was borderline chicken jerky. The quality has been declining for the last few years, but I always gave them the benefit of doubt & continued to order from them. Unfortunately, I think that I may need to look for a new place to get my BBQ chicken fix.

Despite having a packed schedule, I deeply appreciate the ambiance & ritual of dining out. For me, stepping into a restaurant is like attending a live stage production-each member of the staff, from the cooks to the waitstaff, plays a role in orchestrating the experience. The final act, the presentation of the meal, is the satisfying dénouement. Everyone walks away fulfilled: the customer with a delicious meal, the server with a well-earned tip, & the restaurant with another satisfied guest.

However, with time being a rare luxury, many of us rely on takeout as the next best option. In today's fast-paced world, food delivery apps have made this incredibly convenient, whether it's through platforms like Uber Eats or a restaurant's delivery service. I tend to opt for pick-up. It's more cost-effective, & I like to double-check the order before leaving. After all, when kitchens are running at full speed, human errors can happen.

I've had a few instances over the years where something in the order was missing, which often leads to an awkward return trip & the uncomfortable feeling of having to'prove' your case. Sometimes, the interaction can be tense-something no customer (or staff member) enjoys.

This brings me to a recent experience with Restaurant St-Hubert, a restaurant I've been loyal to for over 25 years. Every Saturday, like clockwork, I place the same order through their app-just a few taps, payment confirmed, & I'm off to pick it up. It's become a comforting weekly ritual. However, this past Saturday, something felt off. The box was unusually light, & once I got home & wrestled through the tightly secured packaging-you practically need scissors to cut through those plastic ties-I discovered that the fries were missing. All that remained was a solitary chicken breast. I was understandably frustrated. It was such a simple order-how could something so basic be overlooked?

Still, instead of marching back to the restaurant, I decided to submit feedback through the app when prompted about my experience. To my surprise, within a minute, I received a $5 credit toward my next order. No phone calls, no arguments-just quick, courteous resolution. & sure enough, the following Saturday, everything was back to normal. The meal was complete &, once again, satisfying.

Some of my friends argued that I should have asked for a full refund. But honestly, is that the kind of society we want to live in-one where we capitalize on every minor mistake for maximum gain? I believe in fairness & understanding. Mistakes happen. What matters most is how a business responds, & Restaurant St-Hubert did so swiftly & respectfully.

This experience reminded me why I remain a loyal customer. Restaurant St-Hubert is more than just Quebec's top chicken restaurant-they consistently offer quality food, dependable service, & genuine customer care. They serve not only great rotisserie chicken, but also ribs, burgers, wraps & comforting seasonal fare. & when they get something wrong, they make it right-without drama.

In a world where good service is often taken for granted, it's important to give credit where it's due. So here's a heartfelt thank-you to St-Hubert-for making things right, for understanding the value of loyalty, & for being a reliable part of my weekly routine. Sometimes, a small act of good service deserves a big shout-out. @mtlrestorap

The chicken sandwich are over 20$ & it's disgusting!!!! Avoid at all cost!! Would never eat there again! Go to Madam Poulet sooo much better & at a lower cost!! Insane that this place is still open

We really enjoyed our chicken dinners with a generous portion of cole slaw! The chicken was moist & quite tasty.
Service was excellent. We really miss St. Hubert since they closed all of their locations in Toronto.

Our waitress Loris went above & beyond for us, she was friendly & very patience. We took my sister who is Autistic out for lunch on Sept 25th, 2025, she has special needs Loris was very accommodating. Thank you for the fabulous service.( I hope I got her name right that what it says on the bill.)

The food was fresh, hot & delicious too. Affordable lunch specials many different choices to choose from & portions are perfect size. My only complaint is the fries, they're the frozen kind, it's a shame St Hubert restaurants don't serve fresh cut fries like the other chicken restaurants.

I've been a fan of St. Hubert since I was a kid, & have always enjoyed their food, but this location can't seem to keep the same standard as the rest. In my experience, this location cuts down on portions significantly & someone still manages to deliver subpar food. For example I'll order a large family serving of fries, (as its cheaper to feed many people) & find the fries cold & undercooked, & the box only half the way full. Or the rotisserie chicken being overcooked & dry to the point where we feed a lot of it to our cat. I really can't fathom why this location in particular always manages to deliver a bad experience, no matter how many times I try giving them another chance. I've tried calling them, only to be ignored & hung up on, or placated by them saying they'll do better next time. The staff seem polite & the in store experience might be different, but as it stands the delivery service is well below that of every other restaurant in the area. If you want some solid advice, head to a different branch & save yourself the trouble.

Picked up a family 4 for 4 with a ceasar salad & it was disappointing on many levels. The ceasar salad was rotten, the chicken had a weird smell/taste & everyone who ate the chicken had stomach issues that entire evening. All leftovers were thrown out. Was a customer here for decades but no more. Update: was contacted by St. Hubert & they refunded me the price of the meal which was appreciated.

I ordered take out. I come from Lachine because it was always good. But not this time the chicken was dry & the coleslaw was also very dry. I stopped going to the one in La Salle because it was not very good. But now where go I go?

The fries were not that good neither was the chicken. The staff were excellent. The super busy night may have contributed to the food taste. Usually the food is very good

I've been going to this location since 2015. The food & the service is always on point. 11/10 experience every time I go, they truly mastered the art of making chicken. It's so tender & juicy that it's hard to even compare it to other rotisseries/restaurants.

I love how they even made an effort to make a gluten-free menu & the staff is very helpful about dietary restrictions for their clients.

That being said, could eat their BBQ sauce every day & never get tired of it.

I went there for Poutine had the best service was really really good. It's such a cute place like the perfect place to go after work for dinner service was really fast but then again I did go during a snowstorm so there wasn't that many people but I enjoyed it. The chicken was really good, but that's given.

I have been eating at this particular location for many years. Now, I know why. It's the service. I ordered the standard 1/4 chicken leg with fries. The taste has not changed in forever. But now there are new menu options like salad. Since St. Hubert specializes in BBQ chicken, you have to stick with the best. I did. But my lunch partner did not, & she ordered the Bankok salad with grilled chicken. Well, she returned it, stating that it was inedible. The waitress was super nice & gave her the same as I had. Both of us cleaned our plates. That's the way you do business. When a customer complains your job is to make them happy. & they did. Thank you.

So I've gone to this outlet 4 times in the last 2 months to pick up chicken. Two times successful & 2 times not because they were either out of chicken or there were technical problems. Be cautioned.

Customers beware! They changed the menu & the new photos are misleading. Kid's meal shows a full chicken leg. My daughter, who likes to eat a drumstick like a popsicle literally pointed at the photo & said "I would like that, please". she was sad & embarrassed when a meagre thigh arrived & she was told "that's what you get". Likewise the Table d'Hote menu "includes choice of beverage" & photo shows a glass of beer in a Stella Artois glass. But then you're told beer is not included & charged extra. So daughter & father were ripped off & humiliated by this well-known restaurant's new level of false-advertising & trickery. After being regular customers, we won't be going back.
