Robbie's Smokehouse & Burger Bar is described as a busy, lively spot where generous portions and standout smoked meats like ribs and brisket stand out, offering solid value for the price; the atmosphere is festive and sports oriented with plenty of screens, but crowds and noise can make conversations difficult on weekend nights and a few visits note slower service or occasional inconsistencies in quality.
I called weeks in advance to make a reservation for a group, but when we arrived, the restaurant claimed they'couldn't find it.' They were eventually able to seat us, but the man who escorted us to the table was quite rude & aggressive.
The atmosphere was also disappointing, the music was excessively loud, making it difficult to have a conversation across the table, even though there wasn't a sports game or event on.
To be fair, our waitress was nice & the food was good overall. However, when we received the bill, we realized we had been charged extra for side dishes we were never told had additional costs. While ordering, suggestions such as the'fully loaded baked potato' & sauces were presented as options, but the added charges were never mentioned.
I love the food at Robbie but I don't really like how the waiters always find a way to upcharge you without letting you know, i know better but I went to eat there with my mom & she got up charged on 4 things & was surprised as the waiters never let you know if there's a small price different, it's getting annoying when you expect to pay 30$ & end up with a 60$ bill

Nada is the absolute best! Her service was priceless! In a time where service is below par, she goes above & beyond! Owner too (sorry forgot your name) checked in with us to make sure everything was to our liking. Food never a disappointment & always delicious!
Nice place, good service, everything tasted ok but low & slow meat should never be dry & EVERYTHING was dry. Honestly the only reason this place is rated so high is most Canadians have no clue what proper smoker house food should be like. Everyone's platter around us was like this & they all enjoyed it... Ignorance is keeping this place alive. Plus we've been billed 25$ to much. Unfortunately we didn't realize on time so that's not entirely their fault.

Really good atmosphere & the service was nice, but it doesn't matter when you get food poisoning the next day. Talked to a few people I know & apparently they have a reputation for not having the best food/meat & a lot of people getting sick, including myself. As i am writing this I spend the day having an fever, being in & out of the bathroom & its just the beginning. Would really not recommend. Worst experience i ever got from any restaurant in my life
Great steakhouse,from the 2 hostesses when you arrive to the waitress, service is 5⭐?
I had the meat plater overflowing with ribs, chicken,brisket pulled pork it tasted great.
Ask for George super guy.
Can't say much about a lot because I only get the meat platter. You best do the same. You're gonna turn down a mountain of meat? $170 for 4 (though it could easily feed 15 small children for a week) is a steal.
Plus you get to choose 8 sides.
First time, was really nice. Happening place, but kid of a long wait, then receive food warm instead of hot. Flavor was great, but we waited over 70 minutes before we got our meal. Gin tonics were great & out waitress was awesome.

Les portions sont généreuses, les plats savoureux & tout est bien présenté. Que ce soit pour les viandes, les accompagnements ou les desserts (On c'est jamais rendu jusqu'à là! 😊, nous n'avons jamais été déçus.
Le service est excellent : attentionné, rapide & chaleureux, ce qui rend l'expérience encore plus agréable. On sent que l'équipe veut vraiment que les clients passent un bon moment.
Une valeur sûre pour un bon repas copieux & gourmand. C'est le genre d'endroit où l'on retourne avec plaisir encore & encore ✨
Googled Montreal Smoked meat sandwich near me & Robbie's came up. Only had a Reubin so I settled for Prime Rib Beef Dip. Great portion, Ceasar drink had pickled bean & shrimp in it. All in all, very good experience. Put off by the 10' square American flag on the wall.

Stupide tellement que c'est BON! Cuisine incroyable. Service incroyable. Ambiance incroyable. C'est pas compliqué, ça vaut le détour! Les portions sont généreuses & le service est rapide. Je vous le recommande fortement!! 👌🏼❤?❤?❤?
La nourriture était excellente, mais le service déplorable.
On se sent vraiment mal à l'aise d'être pris pour des machines à fric & non pour des êtres humains.
Ils nous ont facturé une amende exorbitante de 12 $ pour avoir partagé un plat, alors que les portions étaient déjà généreuses (nous avions commandé 1lb de poitrine de boeuf avec accompagnements). Le restaurant était vide, alors qu'ils n'avaient même pas besoin de tables.
Our waitress was fantastic. She was attentive & all smiles, even joked around with us. The food was pretty good as well, though some things were a bit expensive for what they were (like 13$ for a pretzel, even though it was good). The only disappointing thing were the fries as they were clearly the frozen kind (I think they were the cavendish coated ones) & not freshly cut. Ribs were fantastic with a good smoke to them without being over powering & they are larger than you think. I couldn't finish them but did bring them home.
