Nous avons récemment organisé un souper de groupe pour 20 personnes au Baba Hamdi de Châteauguay & l'expérience a été exceptionnelle du début à la fin.
Notre groupe a été accueilli dans une magnifique salle privée au 2e étage, offrant un cadre idéal pour notre événement. Le service a été remarquable. Un merci tout particulier à Zohra, qui a su nous mettre immédiatement à l'aise & nous faire sentir comme chez nous. Toujours calme, souriante & chaleureuse, elle a grandement contribué au succès de notre soirée.
La qualité de la nourriture était excellente & le rapport qualité-prix est difficile à battre. Malgré la taille de notre groupe, les repas ont été servis presque simultanément à tous les convives, & surtout, ils étaient bien chauds à leur arrivée à table.
Un immense merci à toute l'équipe du Baba Hamdi Châteauguay pour votre professionnalisme, votre accueil & votre excellent service. Nous garderons un très beau souvenir de cette soirée & n'hésiterons pas à revenir !
Had a spectacular group brunch here. Everything was delicious, but my faves were the super tasty ful mesdames, fluffy pita, crispy falafel, & pastry drizzled with pomegranate (?) molasses. I was with a large group & the service was warm & the food plentiful.

The best birthday party ever! The staff never got impatient with our rowdy group of …50 or more upstairs! The food was delicious . The molasses was very tasty! Everything was accommodated. Vegan, gluten free. It was incredible.
For those who are looking for real Egyptian food taste, Baba Hamdi is the best Egyptian restaurant in Montreal. We had mixed grill platter, quails, Koushary & foul (Fava beans), all meals were delicious & brought the genuine Egyptian taste to Canada. Highly recommend it.
I love this place & eat here all the time, but during the hot summer months it becomes extremely uncomfortable inside. I noticed another Google review from 4 years ago mentioning the AC not working, & management responded that they would get it fixed as soon as possible. Unfortunately, it seems the issue is still happening years later.
Service is usually great, but on my last visit the service from one staff member was noticeably less attentive than what I'm used to here, which really affected the overall experience at our table.
It's a shame because I really enjoy this restaurant, but I may have to avoid dining here during the hotter months until the AC issue is resolved.
We had a great experience here. The food was super delicious, & my husband ordered the chicken sandwich which was absolutely amazing. We really enjoyed everything!

Only the hummus & bread was good.
None of the main dishes(group of 10) were decent.
My girlfriend chicken was undercooked.
