There are restaurants that serve great food, & then there are restaurants that craft an experience-Robbie's Steakhouse effortlessly achieves the latter. From the moment you walk through its doors, there is an undeniable energy: the hum of delighted diners, the clink of fine glassware, & the scent of expertly prepared dishes filling the air.
Yet, what truly elevates Robbie's from exceptional to extraordinary is its people. On this particular evening, we had the absolute pleasure of being served by Carmen, a consummate professional with an unwavering dedication to her craft. It is rare to encounter someone who balances grace, efficiency, & warmth so seamlessly, but Carmen did just that-making us feel valued, attended to, & genuinely welcomed.
Despite the restaurant being packed, the atmosphere remained effortlessly inviting. The synergy between the staff was a sight to behold, with the manager stepping in not as an overseer but as a guiding force, ensuring that every guest felt the touch of hospitality at its finest.
& then, of course, there was the food. I opted for the Chicken & Fried Pickles, a combination that perfectly balanced crispy indulgence with savory delight. Each bite was rich with flavor, the pickles providing a satisfying tangy crunch against the tender, expertly cooked chicken. Meanwhile, my friend chose the Amour Classic Burger & Fries, a masterpiece in its own right. The burger, bursting with bold flavors & perfectly grilled, was paired with golden, crispy fries-simple, yet executed flawlessly.
Robbie's has long mastered the art of culinary excellence, & this visit was no exception. Every dish was a testament to their commitment to quality & craftsmanship-it was not merely a meal, but an indulgence, one that lingers on the palate long after the last bite.
Without a doubt, this is not just a steakhouse-it is a sanctuary for those who appreciate the finer things in life. What can I say about robbies either than it's a fantastic place to have a beer at the bar with some buddies to watch the game or eating in the dining room. Place is very busy on weekends & I suggest making a reservation, Went there last night & learned the hard way that we couldn't get a table because we didn't have a reservation
But Steve , the manager at the front door was kind enough to accommodate us even though we had none. We had the beet salad as an app & ordered the tomahawk & seafood platter as our main courses.
The food was epic!!!
Our waitress Carmen was so kind & friendly & made the experience even better.
The music is a little loud but the atmosphere was worth it. Will definitely be back . With a reservation next time .

Very disappointed in our visit to Robbies Smokehouse for New Years Day Brunch. The brunch was advertised as 10am to 3pm .. we showed up on time for our 1:30pm reservations. On the reservations we asked that if possible, a quiet table with not too much foot traffic around it due to health challenges. They placed us in the busiest part of the restaurant with numerous large groups of people around us yelling, constantly arguing & moving around etc, even though the other side of the restaurant was virtually empty. They had already closed the omelette station & some other food areas, they were out of bbq ribs, & other items, the scrambled eggs were cold, the French toast was blah & I couldn't make or order regular toast as they already taken the toaster away & the kitchen refused to make toast or even an omelette. We were told by our server that it was busy earlier but many people left around 12,:30 & it didn't get busy again so they were instructed to start closing somethings down without even caring about reservations or others coming in. Didnt even make a backup plan to have the kitchen make omeletes if requested as the omelette station was advertised as part of the experience. . We had heard many good things about this restaurant & were very excited to attend, we even took an Uber from NDG so we didn't have to deal with driving & to just relax & enjoy the outting. We would not recommend this establishment for brunch, we cant speak about any other time as this was our only time there. We will say that our server was excellent. It was not her fault the owners/managers didn't keep the times advertised for a brunch & she received a nice tip for working New Years Day. One observation is .. this is definitely NOT a place for a quiet relaxing brunch, or any meal as it seems like it is ALWAYS noisy no matter when you attend. I am also not expecting a reply as I see management/owners don't reply to reviews, good or bad. Souper demployer nous étions une 15 aine ,à mon arriver bien sûr on n'es vendredi alors très achalander stationnement un peux difficile à trouver car les place de parking sont très proche de d'autre. Commerce très a prxmiter donc prévoyez le coup ,à entrer du restaurant personnel très ocuper alotd on ce débrouille on discute pour nformartion avec dautre client ci il attente leur réservation ou autre on ne sais pas trop , je me dirige vers l'accueil une je pose ma question à une jeune femme très débordé & me répond que mon groupe est en rentrant à droite poliment ,3 ou 4 table mis ensemble & les chaises ces assez serez mais quan même bien vue le nombre important dans le restaurant de client .le service est assez long le personnel est très débordée au final boisson,entré , repas & dessert auront pris environ 3 Heure 30 , Maintenant on debut une boisson gazeuse ( ginger all) dans un bon verre avec paille beaucous de glace e au moins la moitié du verre donc moin de boisson gazeuse mais quan même rafraîchissante. Les entrées je ne pas pris d'entrée mais beaucous decmes collègue Oui ATENTION ce son de grosse entré alors prévoyez le coup! Partager est une bonne option , Repas principal très long à recevoir mais bon place bondé de client le personnelle cour !. Jsi pris le Burger 3/4 3 bonne poulette avec oignon garniture & leur sauce fromage , le Burger était énorme donc impossible de ke prendre en main jai enlever une boulette & la manger à part & ensuite mon Burger qui etait delicieux j'ai beaucous aimer leur sauce chedar , mon Burger était accompagner de frite , les frite chez Robbie ne sont pas super a moin que vous prenier ceux de patate douce ! Car les frite ordinaire on une texture feuilleter & ne son pas vraiment comme de vrai bonne frite , donc évitez, dessert jsi pris une gâteau au fromage & cerise le gâteaux était divin & onctueux vraiment je vous recommande cette dessert !. Facture manger chez Robbie coûte cher MAIS prenez note que toute leur assiette ce son d'assez bonne portion donc leur portion balance avec leur prix .je n'es pas vue ma facture car tout était offert par mon employeur mais j'ai vue les prix & vous pouvez regarder le n enu complet que j'ai pris. Pour mon Burger avec frite standard 2 boisson gazeuse & un dessert j'estime le coût du repas as:40$ . En résumé : ne soyer pas presser ,arriver d'avance! ( stationement) l'ambiance est correct on s'entend quan même assez bien bonne music d'ambiance ! Après le resto? Vous avec le choix à proximité casino & cigar lounge & autre Esque je retournerai chez Robbins? Bien entendu! Portion énorme & ces la place pour les amateurs de viande & gros mangeurs.View more

I thought my homemade brisket was pretty good but after ordering the meat platter for 2 I realized my brisket is miles a head of what they serve. Tough as a boot & dry as sand. Brisket is supposed to be tender & juicy. If I had a restaurant I would not bother to serve brisket if this is what I had to offer . Chicken & sausages were dry, beef roast & pull pork were bland. Ribs were passable but undercooked. On the whole platter we did not enjoy anything. The baked beans were good but nothing special. Mashed potatoes were pretty good I'll give them that. We also ordered the Korean pork belly entrée. Slices were incredibly thin & I'm not 100% but the sauce tastes like VH Korean sauce. Fries are Costco fries I'm pretty sure. Service I can't say anything bad about it. It was pretty busy when we went & waitress was running quite a few tables. Atmosphère was nice. Music might be considered a bit loud for some but I was fine with it. Overall not worth going here at least for the meat platter. I haven't tried their steaks or their burgers so I can't comment on them however after our experience today I doubt I'll be back. Sorry Robbie's. Still on the lookout for a quality smoked bbq restaurant in the Montreal area.View more

J'ai l'habitude d'aller au Robbie's. La nourriture est toujours très bonne, mais hier elle ne l'étais pas vrm. J'ai commender la même chose qu'à l'habitude. La viande me semblait moins fraîche. J'ai tous de même mangé mon assiette, se que je n'aurais pas du faire! J'ai été malade tout la nuit! J'ai vomi tous les éléments qu'il y avait dans mon assiette!!! Yesterday night my friends & I decided to try our Robbies's smoke house, for the very firste time. We've heard many good things about it throught word of mouth so we were excited to check it out. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised by the bustling atmosphere. We were worried that we wouldnt't get a table & I said to my girlfriend in italian (we are never getting in here) surprisingly enough the manager overheard us & replied back in italian (there is always room for anyone at Robbie's)Kindly enough he went out of his way to find us a table & the rest was magic....our server Carment was fantastic..the food is really texas stlye bbq...so good! we took a few suggestions the manager gave us & it was a great evening...highly recommend this restaurant to everyone that has never tried it..sooo worth the visit...We will definitely be back....5 STARS all the way!!!View more
