We went on a Saturday not knowing it would be so packed. Seated at the bar, which we did not like, & the manager was kind of an ass. Very abrupt in speaking with customers, screaming across the resto right behind customers, just...maybe he was stressed & busy, but a bad vibe.
Luckily, the bartender who was our server for the evening was amazing. Always close by, super nice & always helpful.
We shared the 2-person BBQ plate:
1. Upgraded to sweet potato fries, they were insane, some of the best I've had.
2. Smoked sausage was a highlight, very good.
3. Brisket, when you don't pay extra for lean, is about 80% fat, & poorly rendered, so lacked flavor.
4. Roast beef is quite unusual for barbeque, & it's thing, grey-ish appearance was a bit of a turn off, it was okay.
5. Chicken was nice, but quite dry.
6. Pulled Pork served NOT in a sauce is a food crime. Seriously. Sauce your meat, people.
7. Ribs were fantastic!
Am I going back? Yes, a second try for sure - but will stick to those sweet potato fries, sausage & ribs. Would I go back without Playground next door? Not sure...they seem to go hand in hand.View more

What can I say about robbies either than it's a fantastic place to have a beer at the bar with some buddies to watch the game or eating in the dining room. Place is very busy on weekends & I suggest making a reservation, Went there last night & learned the hard way that we couldn't get a table because we didn't have a reservation
But Steve , the manager at the front door was kind enough to accommodate us even though we had none. We had the beet salad as an app & ordered the tomahawk & seafood platter as our main courses.
The food was epic!!!
Our waitress Carmen was so kind & friendly & made the experience even better.
The music is a little loud but the atmosphere was worth it. Will definitely be back . With a reservation next time .

We were there for a special event, we had great chicken, & braised beef, but tge ribs were not the best. Portions are very good. Limited choices of drinks, but access to full bar downstairs. Tge house red wine, I would not recommend. Overall, I will go again. If your looking for good comfort food & full bar., it's a good place.View more
Jai ete vraiment déçue de mon expérience qui ne vallais pas le 3h de route que j'ai fait. Nous avions réservé mais quand meme attendu 30 min debout avsnt d'avoir une table mais finalement nous avons du aller au bar. Exactement 2h d'attente pour nos assiettes. Cuisson med saignante bien cuite qui goute le brûlé queue homard froide & raide, plateaux découverte decevant porc & poulet sec, cote levée de calcinee boeuf sans goût, Ailes de poulet géantes & patates pilee délicieuses. Bon drink Service sympatique mais plus de 20 min d'attente pour reussir a avoir notre facture à la fin. Définitivement plus pour pour les yeux que au goût. Peu être une mauvaise soirée, jy redonnerai une deuxième chance si je passe dans le coin mais je ne me redeplacerai plus pour le resto uniquement.View more
A surprise party for a friend was held upstairs where there was a buffet for meat lovers which included pulled pork, sumptuous choices of beef with 3 varieties of gravies, sausage & pieces of breaded chicken served with mashed potatoes, fries, grilled vegetables & salad. A cash only bar, dancing & karaoke with prizes you want to offer your guests is a great way to add some party animal atmosphere! C'était la 1ere fois que j'allais à cette endroit. Je vs mets en contexte: "une date, 1er souper " J'ai adoré car nous étions assit au bar. Ce qui sort du traditionnel, face à face. C'était un samedi soir, c'était plein à craquer. L'ambiance était wow, les gens étaient sympathique & nous avons eu nos places rapidement. Malgré que je n'avais pas réservé Le service à été long! Par contre, courtois & sympathique. Voilà pourquoi j'ai mis 4 étoiles & non 3. Les assiettes fut excellentes pour moi. Cuisson excellente ! Le Burger de Mme fut ordinaire & peu en saveur. Food was Ok, but overpriced . Would not recommend the ribs. The service was really bad. We were a group with reservations for 6:30, but due to traffic problems, most of the guest arrived around 7:00. Starting receiving our food around 8:50.
We were forced to pay in advance prior to receiving any food. When asked for bread, we were told "you will get it with your soup". No water was served at the table, you were expected to go to the bar & get it.
