Nous étions un groupe, un samedi soir.
Je tiens à mentionner l'excellent service de notre serveuse. Gentille, calme & en parfait contrôle.
Côté cuisine, on a bien mangé, les portions sont généreuses & goûteuses.
C'est par contre très bruyant comme place & l'entrée en pente abrupte sans avertissement justifie la note niveau ambiance.
Nous y retournerons un soir plus tranquille pour mieux en profiter.View more

We were on a multi day move form Mission to Mackenzie BC & after landing decided to call it a night in Cache Creek.
It is a motel not a hotel so don't expect all that extra stuff. the stuff that also comes with an extra price.
Instead expect a welcoming presence, The lady at the counter was super sweet & directed us where to park out moving van .
My co worker wanted to watch the playoff game (that was already in the second half as we were running late) & couldn't figure out the tv.
This angel of a lady actually took the time to come to our room & set it up for him!
the room itself is fine.. clean bathroom & beds. nothing fancy
We are going through there on another job in two months & will be staying there again
all & all I was very happy. I am usually more of a planner an stumbled upon this place.. it's in my roster nowView more

Overall still satisfied with this Smokehouse. The burgers & the steaks are delicious, the staff is friendly & efficient, the wine selection is great. However, the water tasted like baking soda, the ribs where dry, the music was very loud, & they where behind scedule ( 30mins wait in lobby).View more

We went on a Saturday not knowing it would be so packed. Seated at the bar, which we did not like, & the manager was kind of an ass. Very abrupt in speaking with customers, screaming across the resto right behind customers, just...maybe he was stressed & busy, but a bad vibe.
Luckily, the bartender who was our server for the evening was amazing. Always close by, super nice & always helpful.
We shared the 2-person BBQ plate:
1. Upgraded to sweet potato fries, they were insane, some of the best I've had.
2. Smoked sausage was a highlight, very good.
3. Brisket, when you don't pay extra for lean, is about 80% fat, & poorly rendered, so lacked flavor.
4. Roast beef is quite unusual for barbeque, & it's thing, grey-ish appearance was a bit of a turn off, it was okay.
5. Chicken was nice, but quite dry.
6. Pulled Pork served NOT in a sauce is a food crime. Seriously. Sauce your meat, people.
7. Ribs were fantastic!
Am I going back? Yes, a second try for sure - but will stick to those sweet potato fries, sausage & ribs. Would I go back without Playground next door? Not sure...they seem to go hand in hand.View more
