The food was excellent & authentic. The staff are exceptional & friendly. The restaurant manger Maureet was welcoming supportive of the staff & genuinely interested in assuring your experience is great. The atmosphere is beautiful & you will not be disappointed.
We had excellent experience. Food was great, deep & reach. Thanks for manager Mohit & our beautiful Persian server Parmida. You know the places where you mood became elevated after meal. This it that kind of place. P.S. don't go spicy.
One of the finest Indian restaurants I've been to in Canada! We went there for dinner & ordered the Dahi Poori, Martaban ka Paneer, butter roti, & garlic naan - each dish was freshly made, full of flavor, & perfectly balanced. The paneer was tender, & the gravy had a rich, authentic taste. For dessert, we tried the Gulab Jamun Profiteroles - an innovative & delightful fusion creation.
We also got to speak with the chef, who was extremely kind & clearly passionate about his craft. It was refreshing to meet someone so committed to quality & authenticity in every dish.
One of the best Indian restaurants I've tried in Canada so far. We went there for dinner.. had Dahi poori,'Martaban ka paneer', butter roti & garlic naan - all of them were well prepared, fresh & very tasty. Paneer was soft & the gravy was flavourful. We also had the Gulab jamun profitroles - a little sweet for my taste, but all in all it was a great fusion dessert. Icing on the case was Mr. Mohit - he was very hospitable & helpful. Great ambience as well, will visit again for sure.
Food was delicious, we tried veg korma, dal makhani & malai tikka chicken among them malai chicken tikka wins our heart which was perfectly cooked, the juice that came from the chicken was something that paralyzed our tongue. At last we order the tea which was sweet & who served us the lady Anna was more sweeter than the sweet tea. Thanks for your warm hospitality.
If I could give 10 stars I would !! Went to this restaurant for the first time with a group of 4. 2 vegans & despite the menu not listing vegan options the restaurant outdid themselves To accommodate us. Giving us a ton of options that were beautiful to look at & exceptional tasting. Thank you to Lena for the outstanding service & the working with the manager to develop a menu that was above expectations. We will be back home t time in Montreal !
Très belle expérience! Tous les plats étaient succulents! La vaisselle & coutellerie changées à chaque plat, service assez rapide, magnifique décor & ambiance. Le gérant & le chef sont venus parler avec nous, pour s'assurer que tout était à notre goût. Je recommande a 100%
The unconstructed samosa was just wonderful & the lamb korma & the chicken masala were full of flavor. Great old town restaurant that's worth a stop if you're in the area.

The restaurant boasts a beautiful ambience that immediately sets a warm & inviting tone upon arrival. The décor, lighting, & overall atmosphere are thoughtfully curated, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed evening or special occasion. While the food was certainly good & well-presented, it didn't quite live up to the high expectations set by the pricing. The flavors were enjoyable, but not particularly memorable or unique, leaving a slight disconnect between the cost & the culinary experience. Overall, it's a lovely place to visit for the ambience, though the food may not fully justify the premium price point.
Veranda takes you back to your own veranda( front porch in Hindi). The staff & their hospitality made our evening really special. Food was really authentic, fresh & presented extremely well. Music was calming & soulful. We will be back for sure! P.S. their Diwali decor was perfect. Special thanks to Mohit & Jatin for a wonderful conversation & a tour of the place.
