Quite literally the best Indian I've had. A beautiful patio, bright flavours, kind staff. We had the chicken tikka & butter chicken. Classics with warm, familiar spices & a broad flavor profile. We also had the melon salad, a bright refreshing addition, & the samosa tart which was as phenomenal & a modern take on a true classic. We were in Montreal for 5 days & came here twice for food. The only 10/10 of the trip, you need to go.
I was super happy to find this restaurant. It's super hard to find awesome Indian food while traveling. Authentic flavors with homemade goodness. I love Indian food & this place took me down memory lane. The overall experience was amazing. The atmosphere was relaxing, inviting, & just comforting. Staff treated you like they knew you & were glad you were there. A definite place to check out you will not be disappointed. Took a few snacks for the road to enjoy, until I can get back again.
I am way overdue on a review of this restaurant. My family & I were in Montreal at the end of July. We stayed in the same building where this restaurant is located. After a busy day touring the Saint Helen island & coming back later than anticipated, we stopped by this restaurant for dinner. Honestly, I thought we would get turned away because we arrived by 9:00pm & the red was meant to close at 10:00pm. Luckily, they were kind enough to allow us in & they very politely informed us the kitchen would close at 9:15pm. We put in our orders quickly & are food came out after a short wait. We were blown away by the quality of the food. From the presentation to the aunthentic flavors, this is probably the best Indian food we ever had. It was my daughter's first time & she is rather picky, but she loved her dish & for the first time in a while she ate the entire dish. Everyone was wonderful & we were extremely thankful for not being turned away. If I'm ever back in Montreal, this restaurant will be first on my list. Thank you to the wonderful staff that didn't make us feel like an inconvenience.
?'What an absolute treasure to find on our last day! This was easily the culinary highlight of our trip. The dishes were full of incredible flavor & aroma, & the presentation was beautiful. Huge thanks to Lina for her exceptional service & to Mohit, the manager, for being so attentive & friendly. We couldn't have asked for a better final meal!'
An absolute gem! Veranda takes Indian fusion to another level with creative, beautifully presented dishes that are bursting with flavor. The service was exceptional, the manager Mohit went above & beyond to make us feel genuinely welcome. Chef Abijay's creations are sensational.
Their warmth & attention to detail made the entire experience even more memorable. Easily one of the best dining experiences we've had in Montreal-we'll definitely be back!
The palak paneer & dal makhani were both delicious! The palak paneer was rich, creamy, & full of flavor, while the dal makhani was perfectly cooked with a wonderful smoky, buttery taste. Both dishes were fresh, well-seasoned, & paired perfectly with naan. Great food, excellent taste, & definitely worth trying. I'll be back again!
Hands down the best Indian food we've had in Montreal! We visited Veranda twice during our trip because the food was that good. Every dish was flavorful, authentic, & cooked to perfection. The service was excellent, & the atmosphere was warm & inviting. If you're looking for amazing Indian cuisine in Montreal, Veranda is a must-visit. Highly recommend!✨
My favorite Indian restaurant in Montreal, absolutely delicious food & great atmosphere & service. I ordered butter chicken with basmati rice & butter naan. The butter chicken was nice & hot & very flavorful even at medium spice; it paired well with the basmati rice & butter naan, which was warm, soft, & tasted freshly made. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Montreal & is craving Indian food.
