Very nice Indian food in Old Montreal. It's very busy in the evening. Reservations are required. Parking is very difficult. There's a lot a block from the restaurant but gets filled very fast. You may need to go to the amusement park area across to park & walk back to the restaurant. Strongly recommend Uber.
We live down the street from Veranda & have had the pleasure of dining there 3 times. An excellent addition to Old Montreal, my wife & I currently have Veranda ranked as the best Indian restaurant in the city. Flavours are familiar but also unique & elevated. Portions are excellent for sharing. Service/ ambiance is excellent plus the staff are very baby friendly. Recommended: the ghee lamb roast & mangalorean shrimp. Prices are reasonable considering quality & location

Hands down the best Indian food we've had in Montreal! We visited Veranda twice during our trip because the food was that good. Every dish was flavorful, authentic, & cooked to perfection. The service was excellent, & the atmosphere was warm & inviting. If you're looking for amazing Indian cuisine in Montreal, Veranda is a must-visit. Highly recommend!✨
My favorite Indian restaurant in Montreal, absolutely delicious food & great atmosphere & service. I ordered butter chicken with basmati rice & butter naan. The butter chicken was nice & hot & very flavorful even at medium spice; it paired well with the basmati rice & butter naan, which was warm, soft, & tasted freshly made. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Montreal & is craving Indian food.
Absolutely exquisite. The service was prompt, friendly, & helpful. The food was amazing. It has a casual yet proper atmosphere. Would highly recommend!
Amazing food & service. If you are visiting Montreal, this place is a must. In vegetarian, I would recommend the jackfruit tacos & paneer methi makhana. Great taste. In non-vegetarian, try chef's special lamb ghee roast.
I really enjoyed the food here! The service was great, & they were very accommodating for dietary restrictions (I am lactose intolerant & they brought a coconut milk sauce instead if the raita that comes with this dish, removing all dairy as well). The chicken biryani was very tasty, a tiny bit on the spicy side for me (I have very low spice tolerance). I would recommend eating here if you are in Old Port & craving Indian food!
We visited this restaurant recently during our Montreal trip. I strongly recommend this place for authentic Indian food & it was awesome. Paneer Martban is lovely & the bread is also amazing. However, we noticed that the greetings by Manager Mohit should be more welcoming than just directing for seating arrangements.
