Tbsp est perçue comme une adresse chic et calme, idéalement située entre Old Montreal et le centre, dans le cadre du W Hotel, offrant une expérience agréable pour les couples comme pour des occasions spéciales. Le service est largement loué pour son efficacité, sa gentillesse et son professionnalisme, avec des conseils avisés et une attention constante tout au long du repas. La nourriture est décrite comme savoureuse, inventive et bien présentée, avec des plats et des desserts qui laissent une impression durable et un souci de zéro déchet qui caractérise parfois la cuisine. Malgré ces points forts, quelques critiques évoquent des plats servis froids lors de certaines visites et un rapport qualité prix parfois élevé, ainsi qu une expérience de brunch qui manquait d accueil et de cohérence. Globalement Tbsp ressort comme une expérience gastronomique remarquable où le cadre et le service complètent une cuisine appréciée et parfois spectaculaire, donnant envie de revenir et de recommander l adresse.
Good restaurant located between Old Montreal & downtown Montreal. It has a very calm atmosphere, low noise level, & beautiful décor. The service was excellent.
The only thing I must mention is that the food was always served cold. I visited three times: once for breakfast, once for lunch, & once for dinner, & on all three occasions the dishes were excessively cold. A cold steak, where even the fat was already cold, was not a good experience. This might explain why the restaurant itself always felt cold. Perhaps this is something they should take into consideration.
Aside from that, the service was excellent. The place is very nice, & I would recommend it for couples, as it is quite quiet & romantic.
The new menu of TBSP is absolutely astonishing in terms of creativity!!! We specifically found the tomato & cucumber entrées to be astonishing, followed by the raviolo, duck & cavatelli which were excellent. We usually never eat desserts, but made an exception this time & really did not regret it : the melon as well as the sweet pea desserts were literally mindblowing! What we also found interesting is their focus on zero waste dishes, which today, is the future!
The staff was incredibly nice & knowledgeable making this dining experience even more unique. Thank you!!!!
Incredible dinner & outstanding service as usual. Jamie was extremely knowledgeable about the dishes & their preparation. Will be back as usual when back in Montreal.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From the moment we walked in, Rodrigo & Tatiana greeted us with such warmth that we immediately felt at home. Their gratitude for working on Christmas night was genuine, sharing how they had celebrated the night before & saw this evening's service as an extension of that joy. Chef Arthur's food was absolutely exceptional. He even came to our table twice to chat & share the inspiration behind his dishes, which added a personal & heartfelt touch to the experience. The tasting menu was worth every penny-each dish was a soulful masterpiece. If you're visiting Montreal, Tbsp is a must-stop. The food nourishes not just your appetite but your soul because you can taste the chef's passion in every bite.
Our first time in Montreal & at the W. This was a fantastic experience for dinner. Victoria was wonderful since she knew about the dishes & the wine & was very helpful. The menu was brand new so everyone was nervous about how it would be accepted. No need to worry, the menu was well thought out & the items were well planned & prepared. Flavors were balanced, portions were right on, & service was perfect. My Caesar salad was so well balanced I had no trouble tasting each component individually & combined. If we lived in the area I would make this a regular dinner spot. We would highly recommend the beetroot salad, caesar salad, risotto with scallops, & the encrusted cod with artichokes. The only drawback was the noise from a large group at the bar & in the lobby.
For the price, their food is average at best. Asked for medium steak, was delivered medium well done. Their s3xy fries were wayyy too salty to be able to finish. Bacon was totally overcooked to the point it feels like you're eating bacon flavored biscuits. Coffee was also sub par, nothing special. However the Seafood Gnocchi was one of their better dishes; creamy with lots of actually seafood protein & overall delicious Would get that again, but that's about it. You can better value for your money elsewhere.

Truly amazing dinner at TBSP. I had opted for the Festa option which was a 5 course meal to share. Every dish was unique sophisticated & packed flavors. My favorite dishes were the deer tartare & the mackerel which was shockingly good. The fish had none of the omega 3 flavor too it & was simply melting in your mouth, the preparation made this humble fish feel truly luxurious. I took 2 cocktails which had been suggested by the waiter & they were both perfect. They were cocktails which you can tell have been developed by a true Mixologist. I will most definitely comme back for dinner &/or drinks when i have the chance. Thank you for the great night!!!
The restaurant offers great food & the environment is beautiful. Dishes, cutlery, & glasses were clean. The downside was the service, as the restaurant was operating with few waiters, which resulted in longer waiting time.
