I Iove a good sweet brunch but this place didn't really deliver. The service was friendly & reliable but the food was very average. The French toast was a bit hard & it was quite expensive compared to other chain brunch spots in Laval. The decor was cool but this place is a bit overhyped.

I went there a few months ago & it was a very average experience. Their interior is quite lovely, but it's not enough space for the number of tables. We were seated behind the separation wall in the middle of the room, & as there was someone sitting right beside the other side of the wall, all we could hear was their conversation. Food was good, but the portions were really small & the prices were very high in comparison. The service was quite slow as well. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be coming back.

First time at L'avenue for brunch. My Benedict was delicious I'll give it a 8/10 though. Overall atmosphere was nice.

Pretty ehh experience, food was mid & not as good as the other restaurants in mtl. Service was missing as I waited 8 minutes at the front before anyone even said hi. All in all the other avenues have better service & honestly better food

This was my second time here & as usual the service was impeccable. The food could use some work. I hate leaving bad reviews & as I said the service was amazing so I feel bad. However, it's the second time I am here (on a Monday, so I'm not sure if that has something to do with it) but the food is incredibly soggy & inedible. Both times I got a French toast variation (first time was the tiramisu French toast & this time was the Dubai chocolate which is shown in the picture) & the presentation is beautiful however once you begin to dig in, it's just pure mush which is kind of just disappointing. Not to mention this time, the amount of fruit flies that were flying in & out of our plates was a bit concerning.
