I Iove a good sweet brunch but this place didn't really deliver. The service was friendly & reliable but the food was very average. The French toast was a bit hard & it was quite expensive compared to other chain brunch spots in Laval. The decor was cool but this place is a bit overhyped.
This was my second time here & as usual the service was impeccable. The food could use some work. I hate leaving bad reviews & as I said the service was amazing so I feel bad. However, it's the second time I am here (on a Monday, so I'm not sure if that has something to do with it) but the food is incredibly soggy & inedible. Both times I got a French toast variation (first time was the tiramisu French toast & this time was the Dubai chocolate which is shown in the picture) & the presentation is beautiful however once you begin to dig in, it's just pure mush which is kind of just disappointing. Not to mention this time, the amount of fruit flies that were flying in & out of our plates was a bit concerning.

The food was very good. French toast was a little on the dry side, but overall tasty.
Service left much to be desired. Our server took our drink order, she brought our coffees 10 minutes after we ordered which was fine & my smoothie came by a runner. She comes back to take our food order, food comes out by runner, & for over an hour, she never checks on us. Every time we tried to get her attention, she would quickly look away from us. It took another 30 minutes after our meal to get the check.
Waitress was really sweet our group was well accommodated. The food took time to get but it was delicious. We all took the indecisive plate with different sweet choices but the pistachio French toast was truly the star of the show.
I always love eating here. The staff is amazing & the food is tasty 😋
I tried something new & was pleasantly surprised. French toast Dubai I think it was called..
It will be my snack later because I could not eat it all. If ever you are in Laval this place is a must try
L'avenue is one of my favourite breakfast spots. Their bobby dallas is absolutely incredible, & very filling. Rather you're indecisive on your choice on which French toast to try, they're all absolutely delicious & a great take on a dessert style French toast. If you're looking for a breakfast & brunch kind of place, I highly recommend this place, you won't regret it 😊

Went there for the first time & enjoyed the experience, the interior design is nice & the service was awesome. The French toast was one of the best I tried. The menu is interesting, I recommend trying :)
One of the best brunches I have ever had! I got the "indecisive" which comes with a sweet & savoury side. The chocolate & pistachio French toast was so delicious, a must try. The decor is also very funky & cool, lots of parking but can get busy!

Nice table cleanup, prep outside. Single diner. I ordered classic scrambled eggs, sausage, brown toast. 30 minutes later asked me if I ordered bacon. 10 more minutes later, got overeasy eggs, sausage, french bread. Then got my eggs corrected. Then, got my brown bread. I asked for Jam. They asked if I want peanut butter, I said"no". I got peanut butter & jam. I think all of this would be solved by using a notepad when taking orders.

Very fun, trendy brunch spot. From the outside, you are greeted with a view of the colored lights scattered across the ceiling. Through the doors, greeted by a very dapper young man in a white button up with black suspenders- a very fun touch. The hand-painted graffiti style paint job is eye catching & joyful, it makes my ADHD brain happy at least, no accounting for more traditional tastes. One's eyes cannot help but be drawn to the Suzuki motorcycle suspended from a ceiling painted to resemble a cloudy sky.... we opted to sit anywhere that wasn't under the motorcycle. Server was friendly & attentive, acted with a level of formality befitting the uniform. Table maintenance could use a little work- empty creamers & sugar packets left behind a lot. As always with brunch I ordered a black coffee to start, bitter or perhaps a little burnt, I had to (gasp, shock, & horror) add a little sugar & cream. The food? Unbelievable. I ordered the salmon avocado toast which came out in a timely manner, beautifully presented. The avocado was smashed evenly, the salmon was of an excellent quality & in a good proportion to the avocado so as to be present but not overpowering, the toast did not lose its integrity or become mushy under the weight of the ingredients. The meal is served with a salad, lightly dressed. This salad was lovely! The dressing was not too tart, but not overwhelmingly sweet either. The greens were very fresh & not wilting. I've been on both sides of the server relationship enough to know that these boys know their stuff, & the food is so good it makes the little detail fade into the background of an otherwise wonderful meal. Love this place.
Great place for brunch or breakfast if you want to explore new flavors but because of its' popularity, it at times, the lineup can be super long. Place: Open floor plan so noise level can be high, go for a booth if you can. Decor is interesting. Service: The service is awesome, Voula is attentive, friendly & super nice! She made our brunch very enjoyable. Thanks 😊 Food: You can try the regular breakfast but for a truely good experience try the specialties. We had Red Shakshuka, Truffle Duck, Chakchouka & Pecan Pie French Toast (French toast are super big!) PS Try their smoothies Conclusion: You can have a regular breakfast or have an awesome breakfast. Either way, you won't be disappointed.
Not a lot of options on the menu for meat lovers. Eggs, bacon & ham all had the same back taste like beef grease from all being cooked on the same griddle. Not good. The Pecan Pie French Toast was not that great, simple pecan pie filling place in the middle. A bit boring. No fruit on plates. Server & hostess were nice & polite. Place was clean.
Portion sizes are too big ... food is good. Place is mostly crowded. Saint Ambroise Bénédicte has tooooo many onions. French toasts are good but the portion size !! Omg ...

Great service, great atmosphere, & the food is some of the best breakfast food I've had. I chose the lemon ricotta pancakes from the indecisive menu, & my friend chose the tiramisu French toast. It was absolutely delicious. I also had the Oreo milkshake, which was phenomenal - tasted just right, not too sweet - great consistency. The service was great too, the team really knew how to coordinate & we were well taken care of. Pro-tip - better to arrive before 10:30am on the weekends. It was nice & quiet when we came in at 10:15. At around 11, the rush started out of nowhere & was busy until we left around 12:45. Will definitely be back! If you don't find parking in the parking lot, the side streets are a great option.
Where do we start The staff were exceptional - so kind & responsive!! I had the pistachio latte & it was amazing!! Not too sweet & loads of crushed pistachios. Absolutely wonderful. My daughter had the Rejuvenate smoothie - wow what a beautiful presentation & burst of fresh fruit. My hubby got Huevos Rancheros - packed with fresh ingredients, a huge serving & extra hot sauce! My daughter got the strawberry nutella French Toast & the portion size was unreal!!! She could only eat one piece but was in Nutella heaven. I got the Pink Salmon Eggs Benny - 2 poached organic eggs, smoked salmon, citrus, ginger & chives cream cheese, avocadoes, marinated onions, topped with a beet juice infused hollanddaise sauce, on a bagel. Quite possibly the best EB I've ever had! Absolutely incredible!!! The homemade breakfast potatoes are soooo savoury!! A decadent treat for all of us. We literally stumbled upon this place - from the zany decor to the fun vibe, customer service & amazing food - we highly recommend & will be coming back!! Thank you for your attention to detail! These Yellowknifers will be back again!!
Food: Pecan French toast breakfast plate was delicious. On the sweet side, but was full of flavour & topped with a delicious syrup that left me wanting to lick the plate. Potatoes were better than you're ready for, not fried but maybe pan tossed with herbs. Bacon & eggs were yummy as a staple side that went very well with the baguette to make a sandwich. Drinks: I ordered a chai latte & the small was a great portion, could barely finish it after the large breakfast plate. Wasn't artificially sweet & I added my own sugar - not very spicy but good nonetheless. My souse ordered a hot chocolate that was good as well. Atmosphere: Playlist was a little odd, sounded like someone hooked up their Spotify & played their liked songs on random. The volume was too loud & hard to hear each other talking. Otherwise good for families & kids. Entertaining wall decor & stuff hanging from ceiling.
I got spoiled! Every other French Toast I've ever tried was a LIE! I tried their pistachio latte, it was excellent, too. The atmosphere & service was spot on. Do come early to avoid the afternoon rush.
