Bonne bouffe mais j'ai été étonnée & déçue d'être accueilli par ce message en anglais alors que sur le menu on met de l'avant à grands traits la francophonie de Montréal. J'ai demandé pourquoi un message en anglais & on m'a répondu que'le garçon l'a écrit en anglais'. Ah bon!

Merci Wahab pour ton bon service, attentionné & ta gentillesse. Comme je t'ai mentionné mon assiette d omelette Californien il y a des tomates 🙃& dans le menu n'est pas inscrit donc j'étais déçu de mon assiette. Désolé de te dire mais ce n'est pas juste .en plus je t'ai dis ton service est meilleur que la gérante, elle n'a pas une belle approche puis répond roffe. En tous cas c fait .

1. We have been going to the Avenue Restaurants for the past 15 or so years. We have noticed a trend down when it comes to the quality of the food. We used to be served a fruit skewer with all plates. Now, not even one fruit is present in the meal. The coffees are never hot, & mostly bitter now. The eggs are inconsistently cooked (one day over cooked, another day runny). Potatoes have also been up & down & inconsistent. The Laval location is where we visit most now.

2.Over the years, we've brought our kids here & always enjoyed the great food & service.Unfortunately, the quality of both the food & the service has gone downhill tremendously. Today was another disappointing experience.We sat there for a very long time waiting for our coffee & our bill, which is especially frustrating when you have young kids with you.Our server never came back to check if we needed anything & seemed to ignore us from the moment we placed our order until the very end. Good service should include checking on your customers & making sure they have everything they need.

Our recent brunch experience at Restaurant L'Avenue Laval left us wishing for the past when we were served large fluffy omellettes, fresh plentiful potatoes & a smiling cheerful person bringing us our food & attending to our every need. We were very, very disappointed by the atmosphere, lack of attentiveness & especially by the cold unappealing, smaller-portioned, unattractive dishes that arrived at a higher price. The superior quality & quantity of former times were sorely lacking. My group & I will be going elsewhere next time, unfortunately.

The food at L'Avenue is genuinely impressive. Portions are huge, so go hungry. Everything we ordered was well prepared & flavorful. The lattes were also a highlight-amazing match lattes with a twist that complemented the meal perfectly. Whether you are there for brunch or lunch, the kitchen delivers consistently satisfying dishes.

Service was impeccable. The staff were attentive, professional, & efficient throughout our visit. From the moment we walked in to the time we left, we felt well taken care of. It is rare to find service this polished at a casual dining spot, & L'Avenue deserves full marks here.

Atmosphere: 4/5

The atmosphere is nice & pleasant, but it does not go that extra mile to make it truly interesting or memorable. The space is comfortable & well kept, but it lacks a distinctive character or wow factor that would elevate the overall experience. It is perfectly fine for a meal, but not a place you would visit solely for the ambiance.

Verdict:

L'Avenue is a great choice for a satisfying meal with generous portions, delicious food, & outstanding service. While the atmosphere is pleasant but unremarkable, the quality of the food & service more than makes up for it. I would definitely return & recommend it to others seeking a reliable & enjoyable dining experience in Laval.
