I Iove a good sweet brunch but this place didn't really deliver. The service was friendly & reliable but the food was very average. The French toast was a bit hard & it was quite expensive compared to other chain brunch spots in Laval. The decor was cool but this place is a bit overhyped.
Second time at this location as I was passing through Laval. Just as good as I remember it to be!
We got the duck eggs benny, & the indecisive in the lemon blueberry pancake as one & strawberry pancake as the second dish. All the food was delicious! We tried the matcha latte & the pistachio latte. From the whipped cream to the potatoes to the lattes. The portions are generous & delicious all around. This was just as good as I remember it 2 years ago. Staff are so kind & patient. Atmosphere is unique as the wall art & decor give a street vibe. Would recommend to anyone looking for a brunch spot!
I had such a lovely brunch with two of my girlfriends! We were warmly welcomed & served by Voula, the manager, who was absolutely wonderful 😊 She was attentive throughout our visit, checking in often to make sure we had everything we needed. I especially appreciated her thoughtful touch when she noticed I was sharing my lemon blueberry pancakes 🍋🫐 with my friends & brought us extra sharing plates without us even asking. Small gestures like that really make the experience special. Great food, great atmosphere, & excellent service - we'll definitely be back!
I've been wanting to try this spot for a while & finally decided to go since we were in the area & it made for a nice birthday brunch. The Laval location has a cozy vibe, the décor is stylish, & the service was warm & attentive.
Food-wise, it was a mixed experience:
- The Indecisive Sticky Toffee Pancake: very sweet, & I could only manage a few bites (3/5). Definitely one for people with a big sweet tooth.
- Classic Benedict: excellent, soft buttery English muffins with ham, egg, & sauce all perfectly balanced. Great texture & taste (4.5/5).
- Potatoes: perfectly seasoned & crisp, easily the standout side (5/5).
- Latte: unfortunately a letdown, felt watered down & lacked depth of flavour (2/5).
I also wanted to try the matcha & strawberry drink on the menu, but it wasn't available, which was a little disappointing.
Overall, despite a few misses, the food was enjoyable & I'd still recommend checking this place out especially for brunch. I'd definitely come back to try more from the menu.

J'ai eu le plaisir de découvrir L'Avenue récemment, & je suis absolument ravi(e) de l'expérience. Le menu est à la fois créatif & savoureux, avec des plats généreux, parfaitement présentés, & pleins de saveurs originales. Mention spéciale pour les brunchs qui sont tout simplement incroyables !
Le service était irréprochable : chaleureux, professionnel, & toujours attentionné, sans être envahissant. On se sent vraiment bien accueilli.
Le décor est unique, à la fois moderne & artistique, avec une touche urbaine très stylée. Chaque détail semble avoir été pensé pour créer une atmosphère à la fois chic & décontractée.
L'ambiance est animée sans être bruyante, parfaite pour un repas entre amis ou en couple. & que dire de l'emplacement ? Idéalement situé au coeur du Saint Martin à laval . c'est facilement accessible & parfait pour flâner dans le quartier avant ou après le repas.🫶🏻🫶🏻👏🏻
Quelle découverte ! Le menu est tout simplement incroyable. J'ai craqué pour les crêpes au citron, un vrai délice - légères, parfumées & parfaitement équilibrées. Le pain doré Dubaï est une explosion de saveurs, original & savoureux. & que dire du café au pistache ? Une belle surprise, riche & réconfortant. Le petit plus qui fait toute la différence : le sirop d'érable du Québec à volonté directement sur les tables ! Une attention qu'on ne voit nulle part ailleurs. Ajoutez à cela une immense terrasse, un stationnement facile d'accès, un service rapide & une équipe chaleureuse… & vous avez le brunch parfait. Je reviendrai, c'est certain !

Different kind of breakfast/brunch,i would check out the menu before you visit,i was very excited for the red sharshuka & i was disappointed. Everything was delicious.
Je cherchais un bon restaurant brunch a Laval, parce que j'ai étais déçu par plusieurs autres restos. L'avenue est tout ce que je cherche dans un bon restaurant de brunch avec une bonne ambiance, les meilleures bénédictines que j'ai mangées & un service impeccable ! Je recommande fortement.

L'avenue is one of my favourite breakfast spots. Their bobby dallas is absolutely incredible, & very filling. Rather you're indecisive on your choice on which French toast to try, they're all absolutely delicious & a great take on a dessert style French toast. If you're looking for a breakfast & brunch kind of place, I highly recommend this place, you won't regret it 😊
Went there for brunch with my girlfriend & her friends for her birthday. Vibes & decor was vibrant & our waitress was amazing! Service & food were impeccable! I highly recommend the red shakshuka & the detox smoothie. I will definitely go back soon.
I had brunch here. It was a weekday & the restaurant was not super busy so the service was good. The parking lot was a little small so there was no parking when I arrived around 1pm. I had to park on a nearby street. I had the Californian omelette. It was really delicious & the portion was big. This restaurant is a little more on the expensive side.
One of the best brunches I have ever had! I got the "indecisive" which comes with a sweet & savoury side. The chocolate & pistachio French toast was so delicious, a must try. The decor is also very funky & cool, lots of parking but can get busy!
