We had a great experience! The food was absolutely delicious, & the attention to detail in every dish really stood out. Our waitress was fantastic & made excellent suggestions, including recommending half portions for two of our dishes, which ended up being the perfect amount. We were very happy with our experience.

I enjoyed the appetizer, especially the mackerel that everyone talks about. The blend of different ingredients meshed together very well, & they were fresh & you can tell each ingredients are carefully picked. Main course is somewhat less interesting.

One thing is though, I called specifically to ask for a spot away from the bathroom & they put us right in front of the staff bathroom with a lot of traffic & I had look at the toilet over 10 times during our meal which was very unappetizing.

We enjoyed a superlative experience at Beba. The service, atmosphere, & food all added up for a very speical night. Every dish was unqiue & very well composed. The dates with foie gras will live on in our memory, & we will absolutely return to Beba when my wallet can withstand. Kudos to the sound system, well placed sound panels so its not to loud in there, & a great playlist that set the vibe. Music can be overlooked in some places, but no so at Beba - they clearly put time & energy into getting the sound right so that it makes the mood. Great restaurant!

I genuinely dislike leaving one-star reviews, however my experience at Beba was so disappointing I felt it necessary. Perhaps the winter menu is subpar because we disliked every dish ordered. The service was fine, nothing memorable but they still filled our glasses often. Spending over 100$ per person & receiving unenjoyable food is unacceptable.

Dès notre arrivée 18h30 ,nous avons eu un bref Bonsoir suivi immédiatement du commentaire :' juste pour vous aviser , vous devez libérer la table pour 20h30 alors vous avez 2 heures pour manger !' Disons que l'expérience partait sur une mauvaise note !!! Nous avons reçu ensuite nos cocktails & 1 minute après pas plus nos 2 entrées. Comme nous voulions prendre notre cocktail d'abord , nous avons fait attendre un peu avant de manger , c'est alors que nous avons eu un deuxième rappel que nous devrions quitter dans 1h30 !!! En apportant un 3 e plat puis 5 minutes le plat principal. Jamais , jamais nous nous sommes fait offrir la carte des vins ou suggérer un accord avec nos plats ! Nous avons de l'eau & un cocktail ....Ils étaient trop pressés ??? Nous avons eu droit à un troisième rappel à 20 mins ! Je dois dire que suite au 3e rappel , ils nous ont offert de rester en mentionnant que nous sommes en chance puisque certaines personnes avaient mangé rapidement que nous pouvions rester un peu mais que c'est exceptionnel !!!! & que 21h la facture sera sur la table ! Nous n'avons même pas terminé le dernier plat & avons quitté ! De plus , il y avait plusieurs places de libres à notre depart .Nous sommes allées à un restaurant tout près auquel nous avons eu un service attentionné & très agréable !! Ça sera la dernière fois pour moi chez vous malheureusement !

On est aller à deux occasions déjà, service est toujours excellent, les plats sont très variés au niveau des saveurs & de la présentation. Endroit très chaleureux & coquet parfait pour un souper entre amoureux.

À côté de perfection dans le dictionnaire vous trouvez certainement Beba. Service plus qu'incroyable, nourriture impressionnante. Dans les meilleures sinon LA meilleure table de Montréal.

I just loved everything about Beba. It's small & cozy, but the staff make you feel at home as soon as you walk in. We had seats at the bar, so we were right next to the bartender. Our cocktails were delicious, & the waiter's suggestions for wine were spot on. Didn't hesitate to make us try too. Eclectic menu that can get you out of your comfort zone, reminds me of Tripes & Caviar back in the day. We tried the homemade pasta with blonde liver sauce, & the lamb neck, we enjoyed them both. We also played it safe, the duck empanadas & the butternut squash are crowd pleasers & did not dissapoint. It's not a cheap night out, but we went all out, with dessert & digestif. We felt we had our money's worth. We'll definitely be back here.

Not sure Beba needs another 5 star review so I'll never get a table there 😁but they deserve it. Everything - food, drinks, service, atmosphere was perfect from top to bottom. Unique & delicious flavours for all of our dishes. & really I cannot speak more highly of the service from all the staff. Was celebrating a birthday but I feel they would make it special for any dinner. A gem.

It's not often you find an exceptional food, service, & atmosphere in one place. Beba hit the mark on all accounts. There was only two of us so we sat at the bar & I'm happy we did. Nizar was crafting serious cocktails while delivering a feel of home & hospitality.
& a shout out to Isabella for getting us the best seat in the house despite our inability to arrive on time.
This was our first trip to Montreal & certainly won't be the last.

The Perfect restaurant. The service is incredibly thoughtful & attentive. The food is packed with flavor making you want to savor every bite. To top it all off the music playlist throughout the night makes you want to dance around with joy. The team is super nice & has great recommendations for local happenings. Make sure you chat with them!

I wanted to love the food here so much-we had a nice night with great service. However, for the price point & presentation, the food was not a standout. The potato knish was fun, but pretty one-note. The radicchio salad: a classy yummy Caesar, but it's unclear why the vinaigrette had to be bean-y & grainy. The tripe was…fine. Could have used bread. The octopus main was terrible. The tomato made no sense & nothing meshed in the dish.
