I wanted to love the food here so much-we had a nice night with great service. However, for the price point & presentation, the food was not a standout. The potato knish was fun, but pretty one-note. The radicchio salad: a classy yummy Caesar, but it's unclear why the vinaigrette had to be bean-y & grainy. The tripe was…fine. Could have used bread. The octopus main was terrible. The tomato made no sense & nothing meshed in the dish.

We ordered as much as we could (considering we had our 6yr old with us) I think we did pretty well & tried most of the menu. Everything was excellent, the service, the food, the drinks. Definitely one of the better experiences I've had in Canada. Top 50 in NA well deserved.

'Life-changing' according to my husband! One of the best meals we've ever had, if not the best, EVER. Everything was amazing but standouts were the makeral toasts, the lamb ham special & the flan dessert. Unreal, will definitley be back.

Great neighborhood restaurant. Went by myself worried that there were multiple items I wanted to try & it would be too much food. To my relief, they offered (without asking) that most of the dishes could be in half order, which was perfect. My favorites were the mackerel, you have to get it, & the date stuffed with foie gras. Both were incredibly unique & incredibly good. The knish with caviar was also something I never envisioned that also worked well. While the beef cheek was also good, it was not as insanely unique as the other three dishes. Would love to go back.

Excellent cocktails ('tea for one', & another with vermouth & olives, plus an excellent non-alcoholic cocktail), excellent food, especially the dates stuffed with foie gras. Weirdly bad short ribs though - not sure how they could mess that up so badly. Very small servings of mostly excellent food (except for the short ribs). Bill for three came to $550. We'll definitely treat ourselves to restaurant Beba again when we feel like spending a lot of money for a great evening out. Good music playing, not too loud to talk over.

Beba was an amazing dining experience. It's further afield than some of its compatriots in the higher end dining space in Montreal, but it's well worth the trip. The menu is playful, inviting & fun. The atmosphere is comfortable, almost like you're entering into someone's home. The staff & service was excellent. The cocktails & wine list are vast & the food was perfectly cooked.

Nous y sommes allés avec ma soeur pour nos anniversaires accompagnées de nos parents.
Les plats sont fins & savoureux, la cuisine a vraiment surpassé nos attentes.
Le service par contre était décevant. La serveuse était condescendante & se regardait dans le miroir en nous parlant.
Nous avons aussi remarqué un manque de transparence au niveau des prix. Le nombre de portions par plat n'est pas indiqué sur le menu & elles ont été doublées (même quadruplées) sans nous avertir préalablement. Le budget n'était pas un problème & nous avons mangé à notre faim, mais il nous semble que nous aurions du être avertis.
Je recommande ce restaurant, mais je vous souhaite de tomber sur une serveuse plus agréable. Les autres employés étaient fort sympathiques!

Amazing restaurant. The best table in Verdun & one of the best in Montreal. Very small with a good vibe. Food & staff are both fantastic. Strongly recommend.

Amazing Dinner at Beba :)
It was a winter stormy night & as soon as we walked in Beba, we felt at home. From the greeting to service & the delicious food, Pablo & his team made sure our experience was one we'll repeat. Every dish was good but admit the « Tiradito de Maquereau » & the dattes were special.
