Had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, & full of flavor. The service was attentive & welcoming, & the atmosphere was perfect - lively but still intimate. Such a great spot for a night out. Highly recommend!
Beautiful pub, friendly staff & amazing pies!!! We were lucky to order the last stroganoff pie of the night, which was to die for!!! The chicken one was also incredible.
Also, good thing we had a reservation because it was packed inside!!
Our group of five tried Wolf & Workman last week. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation, & they were able to seat us immediately. Our server was friendly & made recommendations as requested. He was prompt & helpful. We ended up ordering the Burrata & Mezze Plate for appetizers & the Hanger Steak, Beef Stroganoff Pie & Chicken Pot Pie for entrees. The Mezze Plate was amazing. I highly recommend this dish. It was beautiful & the flavors melded together so well. I loved it. I also loved my Beef Stroganoff Pot Pie. The beef was tender, the mushrooms tantalizing & the savory sauce blew my mind. Three members of our group ordered this dish, & we were all delighted. The Chicken Pot Pie & the Steak were also highly praised. This was a great dining experience.
Definitely recommend trying this pub in Old Montreal. We were a group of 8 people, on Friday evening, & they were able to accommodate us at the terrasse on the back. We stayed for drinks only, they have a lot to choose from & they are all tasty. Beautiful decor & great friendly staff!
Update : came back 2 years after my first review & would still give it a 5⭐. Tried the chicken pot pie, it was good but I prefered the beef Stroganoff pot pie.
My boyfriend & I really loved the vibes here! The pub was a lively environment, beautiful setting & great atmosphere. Our server, Zev, was absolutely fantastic. Zev was personable & made us feel so welcome!

Absolutely amazing & beautiful, the avocado toast was so yummy & tastey! The service was incredible not to mention our Lovely server Gabi was top notch being so kind & attentive towards our table! Will be coming again & definitely will be making this a top recommendations. Also bottomless mimosa is a must here!! Glass was never empty!
My wife & I & two other couples met for a pre-Christmas brunch at Wolf & Workman Pub on St. Paul Street in Old Montreal. The first thing you notice is the décor of the pub, it's has a beautiful interior with lots of dark wood, stone walls, polished brass & red leather seating, It really is a beautiful restaurant. Wolf & Workman has a unique combination of British & Quebecois food, fused in unique combinations. We ordered from the brunch menu & I had the W&W burger, which is a very generous burger portion coupled with hand cut fries. The Pub added an additional spicy mayo to the burger dish which was excellent. My wife ordered the crunchy sucrine salad with pesto with an additional order of chicken. She said it was excellent. The service at W&W was excellent & the Pub is equipped with a wide range of beer, wine & liquors for even the eclectic palate. Non-alcoholic options are available as well. Eating at Wolf & Workman was really a wonderful experience & one we would recommend to anyone visiting Old Montreal. A special shout-out to our server Chantal who was absolutely excellent!
Wolf & Workman is a brunch lover's paradise! I once tried their Eggs Benedict, & it was absolutely fantastic - perfectly poached eggs, rich hollandaise, & beautifully balanced flavors. Each bite felt like a warm, comforting treat. ☕️ The atmosphere adds to the experience, with its cozy pub vibes & friendly service. If you're looking for a top-notch brunch spot in Old Montreal, this place is a must-visit. Yum indeed!

Love the beautiful classic interior. Great staff, lovely pub. We did not eat anything as we went there for couple of drinks, but the food served at other tables looked appetizing. So we'll order food as well, next time.
Food is good, but nothing crazy. For some reason our waiter "changed" 3 times , they(the waiters) were all quite nice , but its a bit confusing. All dishes are beautifully plated, but some would benefit from(better) sides, for example the fish is said to come with a puree, but the puree is such that it blends with the sauce. When I read puree I expect a minimum of consistency. Also despite it not being indicated I could taste something akin to dill, or anise in the fish's sauce. The burger's fries are quite great, The caprese too. I was disappointed in the pasta, they were overly salty, I never did that ever, but I requested them to redo it, & from my understanding it was impossible to do, since the pasta's sauce is done in "batch/great quantity" (not that it isnt fresh), I ended up changing my dish to chicken, but I genuinely did not want to eat an indian dish that day. Also we came at around 5 , & were a group of 3 but, it took a while for our dish to come , some people came after us, & had the time to receive their drinks & dishes before us. Overall everyone was quite nice, but I cannot say it was my best experience. Small tidbit, our first waiter spoke english & french, but seemed to struggle a bit(with french), but I applaud their choice to come back to make sure of our order instead of taking it wrong. Strongest point of this place, is the ambiance, the decor, & the art, & sort of terrace behind, which is isolated from the busy streets.
Just what old Mtl needed. What a team they put together. Wine, cocktails & food done right. It's so beautiful inside & everyone is so friendly. Reminds me of my other favorite pub lord William. Great job guys I'll keep coming back for sure!
Came here for the chicken pot pie & it did not disappoint. My cream ale was good & my mom's pimm's cup was the best we had in Montreal. Lunch on a wednesday wasn't too busy. It was a great lunch in a beautiful restaurant & I'll be back next time I'm in Montreal.
Scott & kevin are the *sheeeet* From ottawa visiting & overall great experience. Friendly staff, great food,drinks & atmosphere. Will be back 200% making it a must stop when i visit. The patio is amazing, beautiful decor, & the vibes were just right
Awesome pub!!! Vibrant bar, really cozy dining area that can accommodate large groups, outdoor courtyard, the staff is like hanging with your best friends, cocktails are spot on, Gabby mixes drinks on & off the menu, Lucy will always greet you with her beautiful smile ( & a hug if you're lucky), Danny will always find you a spot even when the places is packed!!! You gotta try their Chicken pot pie!!! A must when you are in the Old Port!!!
The AAA Canadian Beef Hanger Steak was SO good!! If you're looking for a spot to do your steak right, you must try this!! The meat was fresh & the gravy to accompany was spot on. They have a lovely range of coctails, beers & great wine list to choose from. The ambiance is lively, loud & pleasing to the eye. Was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The waiters are attentive & helpful. We really enjoyed our visit. Keep up the great work 😊
