MORETTI GRIFFINTOWN est l’endroit où tout a commencé. Les briques apparentes et l’éclairage chaleureux ajoutent à l’ambiance feutrée. L’ambiance est parfaite pour un dîner entre amis, les cocktails et le vin ne vous décevront pas.

Host saw me struggling with the front door & my stroller & just stood there, maybe a meter away, without helping. Smile on his face like it is normal not to help & open the door. We got sat & waited a long table for the server to acknowledge us (only 4 tables in the restaurant & several servers), she wasn't nice. Stayed with empty drinks for a while before we were able to kind of flag her down. We saw her drinking wine at the bar with another customer. Priorities in this place are off, staff is not pleasant. The pizzas were really delicious, probably the one redeeming aspect of this restaurant. FYI, doesn't have any type of high chair or booster seat. You should buy one, Ikea sales some at $30, restaurants without high chairs are ridiculous
ordered pizza (first pic) a few weeks ago, asked for extra x2 fior de latte; they did great! cheese was loaded on the pizza. but (the second pic) tonight. i asked for the same x2 fior de latte & paid the extra $6.00 for it as always. & received a regularly dressed margarita pizza. kinda disappointed because i do order from here quite frequently & they never fail to disappoint when i ask for extra cheese. i don't like leaving negative reviews but i am upset about this as i paid money for something & did not receive :

Cuisine excellente- mais le service est complètement désorganisé & manque de synchronisation entre l'équipe.. c'est la deuxième fois que nous soupons ici.
Nous avons fait préparé la pizza d'avance & lors de la reception, la préparation n'était pas commencé. Manque de synchronisation dans un restaurant dans un des quartiers les plus branché de la ville.

Came here because they had gluten free pasta & pizza dough & several great options for me as celiac. I let the server know as soon as I sat down that I am celiac & I reconfirmed what I could eat. I ordered the penne vodka with gluten free pasta, after eating several pieces realized that it didn't taste like gluten free, nor look like it. Ultimately, it was not gluten free. As someone with celiac it is really frustrating when restaurants do not take it seriously, it may not present as a serious allergy but should be taken to the same degree. Do not recommend for people with gluten intolerance, allergy, or celiac disease.
I went yesterday. Beautiful decor. My second time & my last. We were 12 people. The food was great! No complaints about the pizza & gnocchi. They were amazing! However, the oysters were tiny. Not worth the price. A glass of wine starts at $18. Not reasonable for 6 ounces. Main negative point…the decibel level of the music was between 90 & 100. We weren't at a concert!!! Not pleasant at all & I won't be going back because of that as you can only talk to the person next to you. It's really too bad. P.S. your employees will have hearing problems in the future if they work too long at your restaurant. Why so loud? Not appropriate for a meal. & the music choices, not so great except after two hours of hearing what feels like the same song playing over & over.
Trashy service. We were asked 3 times by three different waiters if we wanted 7'50$ water. We did. But only got it aster asking a 4 time
Sexy waitresses is the priority here . Which I wont complain about.
36$ for caccio e Pepe gnocchi, what a mistake. The sauce was dry & all you tasted was that scoop of truffle paste . I thought they'd do it well there since it's a simple sauce. But not easy to master

The pizza dough was decent in thickness, but the toppings were overwhelmingly salty...like someone added both salt & MSG on top of everything. Nothing tasted fresh or natural. Service was painfully slow: 20 minutes to take our order, another 20 just to bring the bill, despite us clearly telling them we are in a rush.To make things worse, the blonde waitress argued with us that a 15% tip was mandatory....even after the poor service. A restaurant should earn its gratuity, not demand it. Sadly, between the artificial flavors & unprofessional attitude, this place won't be getting a second visit from us.
This place has really great interior decor. Vibes are super nice, there was a DJ playing & the music was awesome. The food was delicious we ordered the Morettini pizza as well as the calamari & shrimps appetizer. We also ordered margaritas which were really good. The service however was okay. The waiter asked us when we finished our water bottle if he should bring another one or we won't be drinking anymore? Which we found was weird. Also, my boyfriend literally had a bite in his mouth & the waiter took his plate away. It was just a weird interaction but otherwise we enjoyed our dinner.

$16 for a draft beer & $32 for an average pizza, tipping not included... they have lost their minds! Plus, it's very noisy... do yourself a favor & go somewhere else.
The restaurant is in a great location & I really like the interior - it's cozy & stylish. The food is good, especially the pasta, but unfortunately the service is consistently disappointing. Last time, the pizza was served cold, & it seems like they don't have enough staff to manage properly. Even during non-busy hours, the wait time is too long
Excellente & grosse pizza Parma. Entrée de carpaccio très bonne. Succulente assiette de saumon. Mais pas de pain apporté à la table ni rien à part une bouteille d'eau trop chaude & sans glace. Prix trop élevés, surtout pour les steaks à 75$ l'assiette !!
Nous avons commandé 2 pizza & arrivé bien à l'heure, les pizza m'attendaient à l'entrée du restaurant, elles étaient froides. Arrivé à l'appartement, une des 2 n'était pas la bonne. Je suis retourné au restaurant pour l'indiquer, sympathiquement on m'a proposé de la refaire, je suis reparti & ce n'était toujours pas la bonne.. pas très sérieux !
Attention niveau ambiance, c'est plus un bar de nuit qu'un restaurant, il y avait DJ avec musique à fond, compliqué de se faire entendre dans ces conditions
