MORETTI GRIFFINTOWN est l’endroit où tout a commencé. Les briques apparentes et l’éclairage chaleureux ajoutent à l’ambiance feutrée. Pendant que les pizzas s’enflamment dans le four à bois, l’odeur du macaroni au fromage à la truffe emplit l’air. L’ambiance est parfaite pour un dîner entre amis, les cocktails et le vin ne vous décevront pas.

Went for my sister's birthday. Our experience was scary. Firstly, we ordered our drinks & didn't get them until the end of our meals. My brother asked for a coke & didn't receive it with his food. We reiterated it to the waitress over 3 times & then she brought it when he was nearly done with his food, which was no longer needed. She shouldn't have even brought it because as she goes to put it down on the table, she knocks it over & drops it all over my cousin & in his food. SHE DOES NOT APOLOGIZE! Instead, she blames my cousin.. & then tells him the kitchen closed so he will not be getting another meal. She didn't even offer him something off the dessert menu, nothing & again, she did not apologize. We were shocked. She brings us'courtesy shots' which was almost all juice & doesn't even bring enough for the whole table, so my cousin offered his to someone who didn't get one. She gets mad & slams the shot she brought for herself on the table & walks off. Finally, when she brings us the cheques she messes them all up. She makes my cousin write down the way all the paycheques are supposed to be split, & she messed up again even though we were just paying for what we ordered. We told her she messed up again & she told us that 2 times is the maximum amount of times she can print it. She said we just had to pay the bills she brought us & then figure it out together later, making it seem like this was our fault. Of course, we decided we would not tip her which was honestly a hard decision we had to make because we are not the type to walk without leaving a tip. She tries to'call out' my friend for not tipping, claiming we have to leave a tip. Girl.. after the fact that you not only provided a bad service, you did such a bad job you actually ruined our night, do not come here demanding a tip. Mind you, we were gonna go to the club after & my cousin had to go with coke spilled all over his pants. She then went & cried to her coworkers & all of them gave us death stares like please.
Absolutely disgusting experience at Pizzeria Moretti in Griffintown. I ate there & ended up getting extremely sick shortly after what felt like food poisoning. This is completely unacceptable.
The food didn't taste fresh, & the overall cleanliness of the place raised concerns. It honestly makes me question how they handle food behind the scenes.
Avoid this place at all costs. I will never return
Host saw me struggling with the front door & my stroller & just stood there, maybe a meter away, without helping. Smile on his face like it is normal not to help & open the door. We got sat & waited a long table for the server to acknowledge us (only 4 tables in the restaurant & several servers), she wasn't nice. Stayed with empty drinks for a while before we were able to kind of flag her down. We saw her drinking wine at the bar with another customer. Priorities in this place are off, staff is not pleasant. The pizzas were really delicious, probably the one redeeming aspect of this restaurant. FYI, doesn't have any type of high chair or booster seat. You should buy one, Ikea sales some at $30, restaurants without high chairs are ridiculous
ordered pizza (first pic) a few weeks ago, asked for extra x2 fior de latte; they did great! cheese was loaded on the pizza. but (the second pic) tonight. i asked for the same x2 fior de latte & paid the extra $6.00 for it as always. & received a regularly dressed margarita pizza. kinda disappointed because i do order from here quite frequently & they never fail to disappoint when i ask for extra cheese. i don't like leaving negative reviews but i am upset about this as i paid money for something & did not receive :
Excellente nourriture vraiment, très belle ambiance intérieure ! Très déçue du service de la serveuse, mais les busboy/runner ont donné un excellent service.
Cuisine excellente- mais le service est complètement désorganisé & manque de synchronisation entre l'équipe.. c'est la deuxième fois que nous soupons ici.
Nous avons fait préparé la pizza d'avance & lors de la reception, la préparation n'était pas commencé. Manque de synchronisation dans un restaurant dans un des quartiers les plus branché de la ville.

Came here because they had gluten free pasta & pizza dough & several great options for me as celiac. I let the server know as soon as I sat down that I am celiac & I reconfirmed what I could eat. I ordered the penne vodka with gluten free pasta, after eating several pieces realized that it didn't taste like gluten free, nor look like it. Ultimately, it was not gluten free. As someone with celiac it is really frustrating when restaurants do not take it seriously, it may not present as a serious allergy but should be taken to the same degree. Do not recommend for people with gluten intolerance, allergy, or celiac disease.
Un restaurant absolument magnifique ! Le cadre est élégant, l'ambiance chaleureuse & les plats sont délicieux du début à la fin.
Un grand merci surtout à l'hôte Achref, qui a été exceptionnel : professionnel, souriant, attentif & de très bon conseil. Il a vraiment rendu notre expérience encore plus agréable.
Nous reviendrons sans hésiter ! 👏✨

Almost every time I come here, the music is way too loud. Yesterday in particular was terrible; I couldn't hear the people I was sitting with at all. It doesn't help that the music itself isn't the best. The food itself is ok, but the quality really varies.
