We went there for a birthday celebration: in all honesty was a fantastic pizza. It's a true wood burning oven, not gas powered & the flavor really shined through.
Managing that type of oven takes skill, & the pizzaiolo did a wonderful job; I even congratulated him at the end!
They've mastered their dough recipe, & the ingredients are exactly how I like them: simple, not too many, fresh & top quality.
We had the beet salad & garlic bread as starters & a pizza each. It was truly wonderful.
The server was really engaging & also did a splendid job
My friends & I came for drinks & to get a first taste of what Magpie has to offer, & it was such a nice experience.
Amira recommended really fun drinks, for example I had the Kid which was a vial of a whiskey strawberry milkshake that just feels like a potion of joy.
The beet salad was amazing & the amandine pizza was delicious & unique.
I will be coming back to try the rest of the menu!

Excellente salade César, serveur sympa mais déception pour la pizza Margherita. Mauvaise idée de servir une boule de burrata glacée sur une pizza sauce tomate tiède…
Serieusement c'était la meilleure pizza sans gluten que j'ai mangé. Elle m'a rappelé mon voyage en Italie malgré qu'elle soit sans gluten. C'était excellent ! & que dire de la salade César qui, quoi qu'assez simple, était délicieuse.
Great ambiance, friendly staff. Although the waiter brought our beer cans in our glasses, I wouldn't think the bottom of the can is clean enough to be putting inside the glass. We had to wipe our glasses. Our meatballs were a bit too raw in the middle, we tried to eat it, but it was getting unappetizing. We got the burrata salad, on the menu (on the wall above the kitchen), it didnt mention there were nuts in the dish & we came across some, our waiter had to ask several people what type of nut it was, my partner is allergic to almonds so it was a concern, they were cashews. Focaccia was nice.
Bonne salade, mais pizza pas cuite au milieu, fromage non fondu. Tres bruyant, espace insuffisant entre les tables qui sont collées les unes sur les autres.

Wonderful food & staff! You know when something as simple as the salad is so well executed that everything will be amazing, & it was. The best pizza I've had in a long time, perfect crust & delicious sauce.
Missed the beet salad/the kale salad from years past. The green salad felt kind of disappointing. Also lack of mushroom-based veggie pizza options made me sad. Otherwise it was a very lovely, close to perfect experience.

We very much enjoyed Pizzeria Magpie. Good pizzas, salads & drinks. Staff is very friendly & accommodating to first time visitors who needed help in figuring out the menu. It feels like a neighborhood place but with high quality food that is worth a drive or ride.

Beside the delectable pizzas that you would expect in this pizzeria, the Caesar Salad & the Bolognese Pasta were very much impressive as well. Definitely will return in the future.
Authentic delicious pizza, we had the meatballs as entrees & Caesar salad, both are really good. service was great & friendly. Definitely recommend it.
Loooved our dinner. Everything was on point. The Caesar salad, the oysters, we have 5 different pies & they were all excellent. Dessert menu was on point. Casual & friendly, looking forward to going back :)
We are addicted to find & compare the best pizza. In Montreal, Magpie offers the most generous ones, their meet balls one is juicy & rich, their 3 cheese is simply delicious. We missed their artichoke pizza, but everything else, from the Caesar salad to the service & wine, is a second home.
