The café is really aesthetic, with beautiful decor & a cozy vibe. However, the service could be improved: we were asked to pay before we had even finished our drinks, & we felt a bit stared at, almost as if we didn't belong there. A shame, because the place itself is definitely worth a visit.
Table still had crumbs from the last guest & the seat as well.. ordered coffee & the cup was stained like it was dirty.. & had no matcha so disappointing😔 I recommend the pigeon cafe at core vertu 10/10

Je suis déjà allée à ce café auparavant & j'avais bien aimé l'expérience. Cependant, récemment, j'ai essayé à plusieurs reprises de les contacter par téléphone, mais soit personne ne répond, soit on me raccroche au nez. Je trouve cela vraiment dommage & peu professionnel au niveau du service à la clientèle. C'est pour cette raison que je laisse une note plus basse aujourd'hui.
Je travaille dans le même bâtiment que le Café Pigeon & j'aime bien m'y arrêter à l'occasion pour une soupe ou un petit dessert. La soupe aux tomates est délicieuse.
Cependant, c'est la deuxième fois qu'une jeune employée me répond uniquement en anglais, malgré le fait que je m'adresse à elle en français. Elle me force à changer de langue, prétendant ne pas comprendre le français.
Je trouve cela inacceptable, surtout à Montréal, où le service en français devrait être la norme. Je suis moi-même bilingue, donc ce n'est pas un problème personnel de compréhension, mais bien un principe de respect linguistique.
C'est dommage, car j'aimais l'endroit, mais ce genre d'expérience me donne envie d'aller ailleurs.

Such a lovely café with great ambiance! Absolutely loved the food, the vibe, & the warm, friendly service. Perfect spot to relax & enjoy a chill meal or coffee. Will definitely be back!
Stunning cafe. We were seated on the terrace & were very content with the service & ambiance. Our waiter was obviously very busy but took the time to make sure we had everything we needed.
Very underwhelming experience. I love the coffee at Pigeon Café on De Maisonneuve, so I came here for brunch.
I ordered an Americano but was served filter coffee with grounds floating in the mug. It was messy, with drips all around the outside like it hadn't been wiped. My partner's mug was cracked along the side.
Our order was taken by one person & brought by another, who spilled coffee on the table, no one came to clean it, & we weren't even offered napkins.
I ordered the classic Shakshuka, which came with a hair in it. They brought another one, but it tasted off & I'm not convinced it was a fresh plate.
Staff were refilling coffee at other tables, but I never got the cream I had requested twice for the refill of my second coffee.
My partner still left a good tip despite everything.
When she mentioned thr hair to the staff, the apology felt more like a brush-off than genuine concern. They clearly saw I didn't eat the meal.
Poor service, disappointing food. There are definitely better places to spend your money.
We had breakfast at Pigeon Café & really enjoyed the experience overall. The only downside was the bagels; they weren't fresh, which was a bit disappointing. Still, a lovely spot with quality ingredients & great potential!
Very cute cafe but i wouldn't recommend the steak & egg. It was a really cheap & bad
cut of meat for 35$ (20$ above other items on the menu so go for the rest!)
Recently had a great time at Pigeon Cafe. The atmosphere was wonderful, We had a great server, Yaakov who was friendly, & made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend Pigeon Cafe, & if you have the pleasure of being served by Yaakov, you will enjoy your time there!
I recently visited Pigeon Cafe, & I must say, the service was exceptional thanks to Adrian! 😊 From the moment we walked in, he greeted us with a warm smile & made us feel right at home. His attentiveness & knowledge of the menu truly enhanced our dining experience. If you're at Pigeon Cafe, be sure to ask for Adrian - he's a true gem!

I came to Pigeo Cafe after a class & i was treated very good. Jai sat me down super quick with a smile. Adrian served me recommended some nice plates & served me super fast. Great customer service. Lovely atmosphere, overall great experience. I am definitely coming more often!
Coffee is good but this location is not it.... service was not good. The waitress never came to see us after we receved the food & she barely smilled. I ordered the two eggs plate & asked for sunny side up (did not get sunny side up) mistakes happen no big deel but couldnt find our waitress so asked someone else to exchange my eggs. Its not the first time i eat at Pigeon Café but selling 2 eggs plate with half an avocado, 1 tiny toast & a mini side of cucumber salad (which was hot...) for 15$ is crazy. At the one in Cote Vertu area, plate was full & had enough for my money (served with patatos, bread, eggs & had a choice of meat + waitress gave us peanut butter/jam). But Mcgill Pigeon is not the place to go... the food is not bad & the ambiance is really nice but they need to review their dishes/plate cause for the price its not generous like others Pigeon Café :/ For just a coffe on the go it okay.
Had a delicious brunch at Pigeon cafe!! We got the smoked salmon tower for 2 & the shoey's breakfast bagel, all very delicious & filling. It's not the cheapest but I do think it was worth the quality of the food.
The atmosphere of this cafe was also wonderful, especially on a cold day it was nice to be surrounded by plants & the beautiful decor.
Le pigeon café est un endroit où nous adorons aller. Luciano & JJ offrent un service impeccable, sont très accueillants, professionnels & souriants. Les cafés & smoothies sont excellents. Je recommande vivement. Merci !
Stopped by for a quick brunch before heading back to uni, & I was pleasantly surprised by the food. My friend & I shared the croissant sandwich & the eggs Benedict. The croissant was phenomenal-crispy, buttery, & filled with perfectly balanced ingredients. Special mention to the salami, which was incredibly flavorful. The eggs Benedict were spot-on, cooked to perfection, though I found it a bit disappointing that they were served on such a large plate without a side (a small salad would have made the presentation feel less empty).
The iced lattes also hit the spot-I'm a big fan of their maple latte & usually grab one to go. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this café if you're near McGill & looking for a quick, satisfying bite!
