The bò né was amazing, & we'll definitely come back on our next trip to Montreal.
Today is my first time trying Vietnamese food, & it did not disappoint! The chicken pho is a delicious way to warm up on a cold day. The broth was very rich & the chicken has a nice grilled flavour. I ordered takeout & my order was ready in about 20 minutes.
vietnamese food is probably the only asian cuisine that (almost) never go wrong in north america. this is very authentic & the portion is huuuuuge.
Delicious food & very kind & attentive service. It is really worth a try if you're in the area & like Vietnamese food.
This is my second time at this place & I will say that this is one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in Montreal! The interior decoration looks authentic & cozy. I love how it was not too crowded also, our server was really friendly & the food was awesome! Recommend to come here & I will come back again!
Nice Vietnamese restaurant at Phillips Square in Montreal. Had a 7 hour stopover & took the bus to the center for nice lunch & I was not disappointed. Took waiters to recognize me (I sneaked to the outdoor patio), but then they were really fast & attentive. Food came fast, had summer rolls & vermicelli, both great as well as the Vietnamese coffee afterwards.
I went to Montreal for the first time & decided to try this Vietnamese restaurant. I ordered the pho with rare beef & meatballs. It was delicious! Very authentic taste for the pho! The venue was also very big with beautiful decor. They have two floors inside & & outdoor patio area.
My go-to for Vietnamese food & I always get the chicken vermicelli with a side of pho broth to sip!
While in town & staying in the neighborhood, I stumbled upon this place. So glad that I did! As soon as I walked in, the vibes were there! I was immediately acknowledged & sat for lunch. The staff were so attentive & nice!
I ordered the Vietnamese grilled chicken pho & a Pinot Grigio. THE FOOD…DELICIOUS! It was healthy & exactly what I was craving. & for the price point, you can't beat it.
The decor of the spot is so cute & trendy as well. I will definitely be back! 😁
They accomodated the retirement party of our colleague, we are about 50 people but they tried their best to organize how they would serve us. The owner was very kind, servers are patient. Food is 10/10, very tasty, big serving. & the ambiance is great, compared to other Vietnamese restaurant they really made an effort to make their place beautiful!
Beautiful place ! You can feel the warm welcoming as the moment when you walked in . I'm very happy to find a Vietnamese restaurant closes to my work that I can eat "My mother's foods "!
Excellent food & service. I Iove the raw beef noodle soup & Vietnamese coffee. Mets excellents. J'adore la soupe au boeuf cru & leur café vietnamien.
To preface this review, I went at a non-busy time in a group of 2. We had many issues with the service & food: 1. Ordered a rare beef pho & a rare beef & well done beef pho. Received a well done beef pho & a rare beef & well done beef pho. 2. They served the pho lukewarm! The rare meat didn't cook in the slightest!!!!!!! After asking to reheat the pho, they returned it THE SAME TEMPERATURE. 3. I requested fresh chilis from the staff 3 times throughout the meal & never received any. 4. Very minimal sauce included. They give tiny portions of sriracha/hoisin so you have to keep asking. It would be way better to have the bottles at the table like other authentic Vietnamese establishments. 5. Personal opinion - the pho broth was too sweet, missing some acidity. 6. Don't sit anywhere near the door in cold weather, they leave the outer door open sometimes so when the inner door is opened you'll be frozen. On the bright side, they have friendly staff & a great atmosphere (upstairs is super cool too).
Good & authentic Vietnamese food. Very pleasant service. Good guidance in choosing from the menu when I was not very familiar with Vietnamese dishes.
my pork rice paper roll was tiny compared to pictures on here. they also switched my order with prawns without telling me. they were nice enough about switching the incorrect order but they should just not serve the item if they dont have pork available. owner also stared at me the entire time i was getting my order switched. weird it wasn't available as well as i ordered pretty early in the day (3pm). my banh mi broth was too salty & oily as well. very average Vietnamese food.
Wonderful Vietnamese in the heart of Montreal serving authentic & considered Vietnamese food like rolls, Bamh Mi, Pho, & incredible Vietnamese ice coffee. Highly recommended, & the service is wonderful from a caring team. Reminds me of their sister shop front in Hanoi. Bravo!
Phở Lý Quốc Sư offers authentic Vietnamese flavors with standout phở & bánh mì. The phở features a rich, aromatic broth simmered for hours, with tender beef & fresh, springy noodles. A side of herbs, lime, & chili adds brightness & spice. The bánh mì is equally impressive, with a crispy, yet soft baguette filled with well-seasoned meats, pickled vegetables, fresh cilantro, & a hint of pâté & mayo for extra richness. Both dishes reflect traditional flavors & high-quality ingredients, making Phở Lý Quốc Sư a must-visit for Vietnamese food enthusiasts.
Nice little restaurant with good Vietnamese food. Very nice people too
We wanted to get some pizza at their neighbours, but there was a long que. We decided to go for Vietnamese. We didn't regret it at all. It was a fantastic, not to expensive, & a great experience. Would surely recommend it.
