Popped in for the pork & cabbage soup dumplings, seaweed salad, & cucumber salad. Drink the sauces off the plate good. Perfect amount of food for two after a journey. Refreshing & hearty & flavorful! Plus a very nice atmosphere.
On my very first trip to Montreal, I stumbled upon this absolute treasure of a restaurant, & it was easily the highlight of my culinary journey here. We decided to try the pork & chive xiao long bao along with the beef & onion fried dumplings, & both were spectacular. The dumplings were incredibly fresh, & the beef filling in the fried version was seasoned to perfection-juicy on the inside with a satisfying, golden crunch on the outside. What really sets this place apart, though, is the unique decor. Every corner of the restaurant has been thoughtfully designed with a blend of artistic flair & cultural nods, making the entire space feel very'Instagrammable.' If you enjoy taking photos of your dining aesthetic or just appreciate a beautiful environment, you will love it here. To top it off, the service was exceptionally warm, enthusiastic, & welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Pork with coriander is refreshing - soup dumplings. They've got a hang of making various vaggie/herbs their way into the soup dumplings. If I can only dine out once on my time around Montreal, this would be it. Hands down.
The food here is so delicious! We really enjoyed the cold peanut noodle, cucumber salad, our fried dumplings, & soup dumplings . We got the lamb soup dumplings & the pork & chive fried dumplings. This place is amazing. There was a line out door, that speaks volumes. We were really impressed overall. Service & food 10/10
Happened to stumble in here kind of by accident & I'm so glad I did because this was my best meal in mtl! The pork + chive xiao long bao were the best i've ever had. So flavourful & fresh! You see them being made in the front so you know it's gonna be good! also loved the peanut noodles! Would also want to try the peanut butter dumplings for sure! 10/10 no notes!
Best soup dumplings in town! When we arrived we were greeted by a super friendly server, we didnt have to wait at all even though it was super busy.
We had the kimchi, which had incredible flavour. The cucumber salad, that was a really good portion size was also balanced in taste. The boa was extremely fluffy, not too sticky or heavy. But the best part was the soup dumplings. We got the shrimp & pork flavour, they did not disappoint. So much filling & were cooked to perfection. Everything came out so fast, I would highly recommend Petit Poisson to anyone.
The food is delicious & very clean. The soup dumplings are especially good, with lots of flavorful broth inside. I highly recommend the pork & seafood buns-the shrimp inside is big & fresh, & the taste is amazing. Overall, a great dining experience & I will definitely come back again!
