I had such a memorable dinner here recently & haven't stopped telling people about it! One of my top tips: you absolutely must try the Umeshu (plum sake). It has a beautiful balance of sweet & tart that cleanses the palate perfectly between bites of savory, rich dumplings. The xiao long bao & fried dumplings are consistently excellent-I find myself craving that rich broth & the perfectly seasoned fillings at least once a week. The flavor of the sake paired with the steaming hot dumplings is a match made in heaven. The atmosphere is just the cherry on top; it has a cozy, welcoming feel that makes you want to stay for'just one more' drink & another round of snacks. Whether you're stopping in for a quick bite or a longer evening meal with a partner, the combination of great sake & handcrafted dumplings is unbeatable. It's the kind of place that leaves you planning your next visit before you've even asked for the check.

If i could give this a higher rating, I would! This was my wife & my first meal after flying in from Saskatchewan & it did not disappoint. The soup dumplings are rolled fresh (in front of you if its busy) & everything is of very high quality. Their setup to steam the dumplings looks like it uses some kind of custom waterfall steaming setup as well. Everything here was so good we had to buy a shirt! Whether you're having soup dumplings for the first time or the 100th time, petit poisson is worth a visit!

This reminded me of being at an izakaya in Japan. The dumplings are SO good as well as the cucumber salad. One vegetarian fried dumpling option which I enjoyed :)

I've become a regular here because I simply can't get enough of their unique decor & charming Chinese vibes. The restaurant has a wonderful'soul' to it that feels very authentic & nostalgic, yet fresh & modern at the same time. While everyone talks about the dumplings, I have to give a special shout-out to the cold noodles with peanut sauce. The sauce is rich, creamy, & perfectly seasoned-it's my'satisfaction guaranteed' dish every time I visit. The flavor takes me back to traditional street food but with a much higher quality of ingredients. The service is also incredibly attentive & personal; the staff remembers returning customers & always ensures you have everything you need with a warm smile. It's the combination of consistent food quality, friendly faces, & a beautiful, rhythmic environment that keeps me coming back week after week. It's a true neighborhood gem that never fails to deliver a satisfying meal & a pleasant experience.

Great dumplings, cool location, would give the service 5 if I didn't to run after the service in an empty restaurant. Otherwise everything was delicious.

Asked to sit on the patio since we had our dog with us. Got ignored at the door - barely any acknowledgment or communication, just left standing there. After a few minutes with no seating & no explanation, we left without ordering. Never got to try the dumplings, & won't be going back to find out.
