It is like a local version of Shake Shack. Everything was delicious 😋 Definitely try the fries 🫶🏻 Also their graphics were very cute!
The burger was as promised, staff were very friendly, poutine was OKAY. Satisfied overall
** since the owner replied to my review in a wholesome & caring manner, I will be giving it another shot one day soon. I'll try another burger combo & see if it's more to my liking. Cheers to passionate people I'm somewhat of a burger connoisseur & I while I was expecting 5 star experience I was disappointed in the burger itself, not up to par. Should you try it? Definitely but go in with tempered expectations. I got the double burger with bacon, cheese, caramelized onions, & aioli, sounds like a dream right? The burger was good, it satisfied my burger need but I wouldn't categorize it as incredible & I probably wouldn't return, here are some reasons why: - smashed burgers should be cooked on a flat top not a grill, you lose so much crispiness & concentrated flavour - caramelized onions were not hot, clearly pre cooked & too much white wine which is an overwhelming taste especially after it's sat overnight for a burger where the meat should shine through - fries were decent but lacking flavour from the choice of potato - for a 19 dollar burger I'm expecting to have my pants blown off
OMG - The smash burgers from Patty Slaps are in the top 3 in Montreal. A lot of flavors (even in the fries) & the burger are hot. Not a lot of options but every burger on the menu are A1. Industrial vibe, your are not going there for a nice sit down dinner - YOU ARE GETTING A MESSY JUICY GOD SMASH BURGER. Would recommend to anyone.
After reading reviews, we wanted to try it. It's a dog friendly place & we don't have many in Montreal Location is really centric near Concordia. Parking is difficult to find. The interior is quite clean & it looks organized. Service was quick. Food was quite average. Fries were not really crispy like indicated in the menu & they lacked salt. Burgers were also lacking flavour. Some reviews mentioned portions are too small but we found it to be Ok. It's pricey, about $45 for 2 burgers with fries.
A nice & casual place for a quick bite or for groups. The ordering is done at a kiosk. You have a timer & they call you for pick-up. This is a very self-serve restaurant where efficiency is key. There is a fountain for the drinks. It is usually quite busy so finding a seat can be hit or miss. The menu is simple but with good options. I would like to see more vegetarian options in future. Currently, only the French fries seem to be meat-free, but they're quite good & the portion is generous. Prices are quite affordable when compared to other restaurants in the same neighborhood.
Been ordering a couple of times from this place now, burgers are fresh but small size, fries were good the first time but all other times went out as stale & oily, was perfect the first time. I'd say it's just fine when you are craving burger on the go, & I appreciate the presentation & neat packaging they offer. Somehow pricey too!
Great burgers. The fries are very tasty. But the bathrooms... omg. 🤮
Great burgers. Reminds me of Shake Shack burgers 😊 Cool ambiance there. Friendly staff.
Had the bacon blaze & poutine. Burger was good. Meat & bun were on pointe. Needs pickles though to cut the greasiness a bit. Poutine was mediocre. Fries on the soggy side & was over spiced. Can't tell if the fries were seasoned or if it was the gravy but it was very overpowering. Definitely need a basic burger option on the menu
The burgers are really solid : The buns are high quality & fluffy, the meat is juicy, & the flavors are on point. Only reason I am not giving it a 5 stars is that they ran ou of fries, & offer no other slides.
This place is 3.5 at max. The food is good but it’s nothing special. Burger size was really disappointing & the fries 🍟 should get the award of the skinniest French fries in the world. Place is casual for a quick bite but it’s overhyped by the TikTok & reviews for sure. Self service place so it’s really quick from grill to your plate. That’s the best part. Definitely visit there but set your expectations… the place is not even in the league of best burgers
The ordering system is unique, I like how you can pick your burger, & then the app tells you how long it takes to get the order! It is a bit pricy, but you get what you pay for, & these burgers were amazing. The buns were fresh & fluffy, & the burgers were well seasoned & cooked perfectly. I usually do a bunch of mods, but I trusted the chef, & the truffle burger was fantastic. The flavors all went so well together, & I wouldn't have thought of doing that myself. I would recommend ordering them as they come! The fries were good, notthing special but crispy & delicious. Added a garlic aoli that was homemade & will get that next time for sure. Definitely need to try more of their selection!
What a fun hangout place! Highly recommend Patty Slaps for hanging out with friends. Burgers are soo juicy & the sauce SLAPS!!! Highly recommend trying the Psycho Patty one. The fries are my favourite! So thin & crispy & perfectly seasoned. The garlic aioli is the perfect dip for them.
Nice little place with great decor & seating. Burger size is misleading from the pictures. What you're getting is really small. Thought I'd be full from a triple patty burger but it was half the size of a Big Mac from McDonalds. I was left hungry but didn't want to spend another $15 on a burger. All in all, a burger, fries & a drink with tax will cost you $19-22.
On a Saturday afternoon, wait time for my order was 25 minutes! That's a long time. Not sure if it's just that day or this is standard fare for this joint. Staff could have worked together better to get orders out faster. For a wait time that long, it wouldn't be a surprise for people to go across the street to McDonalds when they're really hungry.
I will say that the burgers are delicious. The patties are fresh & juicy, on the thin side, but they're really good. Fries are also really good!
Note for the owners: staff said the bacon was pork but the beef is halal? Kinda weird.
3/5.
