First of all, we came for their burgers because my sister was craving it, & in the end, it was just to her satisfcation--she called it juicy & smokey. At first, I wasnt feeling a beef burger but when i saw their veggie burger the'Wedgie' it looked really appealing & it did not disappoint. Their vegeterian burger is stuffed with portobellini mushroom & cheese. Compared to the picture, It's not as cripsy as it looks & it was still very flavourful as the inside was cheesy, saucy (aioli) & chewy thx to their mushrooms. Their breads are also homemade pretzel buns & it adds a nice sweet n salty unique touch.
Besides their burgers which we liked so much, we also ordered the frenzy fries which are with'caramelized onions, a mushroom mix & homemade truffle mayo'. I find that their fries alone are thin & not filling, so instead one should try their frenzy fries. Note: dont expect to pay cheap, we paid 57$ tax included for a Psycho patty(lettuce, tomato, bacon++$), Wedgie burger, fries & frenzy fries & 1 drink.
Other than their food, i personally found that the atmosphere was comfortable. Since it was late when we went, you might find that its dim inside but they still offer bright lighting where there is (see in video). The place also had high chairs & fewer ground tables for eating. We also noticed that they had a good playlist but we did have a little trouble speaking aloud. It was a pleasant atmosphere, & the restaurant interior design made me think of an underground sewer pub for burgers.
For the service, we ordered via kiosk & then chose to pay in cash up front. The cashier there seemed already busy bagging other orders before us & online, so maybe we didnt assert enough but we got to pay after 5 minute & we received our orders by giving out our name. The lady was very nonchalant, maybe just tired but she was still nice. Something professional that I want to point out, is how the employees refused to give delivery orders unless the delivery drivers had a bag with them which i overhead them pointing out how its cold oustide. This impressed me because, it shows how they prioritize serving quality & fresh food even when its to be eaten elsewhere. We found their concept really cool & detailed, there was alsways something to look at, from their cups 🥤, tray sheets, the paper wrap for their burgers & even the murals on the walls.
My party of 4 were disappointed! First, it was a very hot day in Montreal & they do not have air conditioning. Not even fans to circulate the hot air. Service was helpful & friendly. Food, while tasty, was skimpy. Meat patties were small for the price. No gluten free bread option so the lettuce wrap had to do but made the meal inadequate. The fries were flavorful but soggy. Between the heat & music that was so loud we couldn't hear to talk to each other, we ended up taking our food to go. Might be better on a cooler day with younger people or something.
Very tasty burger in downtown. But a bit small & can get too greasy sometimes. Very nice restaurant, & very good fries! Would recommend going outside of rush hours.
My favorite burgers! & my boyfriend's favorite takeout too. I especially love the crunch-a-delic, but everything is good. Love the fries too.
Top tier burger in Montreal! The burger is a.m.a.z.i.n.g, fries are just great! The atmosphere is lively & the industrial design with cute graphical art is unique in Montreal. Will definitely go back there when I feel like having burger! Well done to the owners & please keep up the great job!
Ordered the Wedgie Burger & was genuinely shocked when it arrived. The patty was the size of a small falafel, no exaggeration. The menu photo makes it look like a proper, hearty burger, but what showed up was a sad little puck drowning in way too much bun. Not a lot of sauce, just what you see in the picture that slid from the top of the bun. Added a cheese slice for 1$ & they didn't even want to heat it up, I had to remove it to be able to eat the burger.
The whole thing came to $19 after tax. For a veggie burger you could fit in the palm of your hand.
The fries were good, thin & crunchy but I wouldn't go back just for them.
If you're vegan or vegetarian save your money. Definitely not worth it.
Got take out & had the BEST BURGER! Will 100% share this find with all our friends.
Merci. Your burgers sure do SLAP! 10/10
Would take a picture but we inhaled our meal.
