We arrived as they were opening on Sunday morning & were welcomed by the owner. He was so kind & explained the case of savory pastries we were looking at. It smells amazing right as you walk into the door & can tell each item is made with care & a love of food.

We went on a Thursday (today). The owner gave us an amazing story about the hard work that he & his team put on the pastries. We had the croissant with Brie & blueberries, pistachio chocolate croissant, pesto cheese & tomato croissant. The Brie croissant & pesto cheese croissant was amazing. They heated it & that made it even better. I would highly recommend this place. The atmosphere was good. The owner was super friendly. We Had a few laughs while ordering.

Très bonne pâtisserie, Accueil chaleureux & les salés, sucrés exquis.
Il a réveillé mes papilles & franchement j'ai bien & trop mangé.
J'y retourne dès que je repasse à Montréal.

Definitely worth a visit if you find yourself craving a sweet treat while you're in this part of town! They have an interesting array of flavours on offer & they're done very well. The fact that the presentation is so pretty is just building the lilly.

Tried the Japanese-inspired jam & chocolate filled brioche. So light & fluffy with a decadent filling.
Also had a pistachio croissant.
Both were spectacular!!

The pear tart is really good! It has a puffy cream inside with actual pear slice, not too sweet, & crust is so crispy! Highly recommend!

Very stressed out & not at all pleasant people. Good pastries but after their nastiness we didn't even want to eat the food we bought.

We had a very good warm croissant for breakfast over here. One of the best. The gentleman tried hard to communicate in English & was very pleasant & jovial. Very highly recommended. & so close to Notre Dame Basilica.

Les pâtisseries sont excellentes! 10/10.
Mon seul bémol est purement esthétique. Je pense en effet que la Pâtisserie Bervig serait encore plus populaire si certains changements étaient effectués dans la décoration.
Ex. :
- retirer les fausses plantes & les remplacer par de vraies plantes
- peindre tous les murs en vert (plutôt que de laisser certains murs blancs)
- afficher des toiles & des posters plus grands
- retirer les tables & les chaises en plastique & les remplacer par des matériaux en bois (par exemple)
Finalement, je profiterais de la tendance'japandi'!
