Une vrai boulangerie française, alors vous y aller pour leur créations pas le service.
Excellent croissant. Les gâteaux & tartes sont super. Les quiches individuelles, excellentes.
SO good -- genuinely one of the best croissants I've ever had, including compared to the ones in Paris! Lescurier / Alex Platel features beautiful, perfectly flaky croissants with the most gorgeous laminated dough & golden brown crust. The pastries are buttery & rich, but not so much so that it feels overwhelming, which means that, despite being quite large, they don't feel overly heavy or dense. The chocolatine / pain au chocolat also gives an opportunity to try their delicious home-made chocolate, which is phenomenal!
They don't have any seating inside, but they're located right next to a few parks & stretch of streets with plenty of benches. It's a great spot to pick up a few pastries before enjoying a good walk or hanging out outside. I am SO incredibly excited to have found this spot, & I can't wait to come back to try more of their pastries & chocolates!
Excellent Kouing Aman, light sweet. Croissant is very good, Paris Brest is too sweet for my taste, some might like it, the cream is OK. Chausson aux pommes is more on the bread side.
Definitely one of the best pastry shops in Montreal. Even thinking about it makes me salivating. I LOVE the kouing amann, & the choco hazelnut croissant.
Bon rapport/qualité prix tant au niveau des pâtisseries que des viennoiseries, Une des rares pâtisseries à Montréal où vous trouverez des religieuses (café ou chocolat) Les croissants sont feuilletés comme il faut sans être trop gras Enfin leurs desserts sont à tomber Adresse à essayer si vous ne l'avez pas testée ✅
J'adore cet endroit , le personnel est gentil & toujours souriant . Les sandwichs sont généreux & abordable. La baguette , quiche , fougasses & pâtisserie sont pour nous une source de joie quotidienne. & leurs croissants 🥐 les meilleurs absolument.
J'ai l'habitude de cette pâtisserie bien avant que ça devienne Alex Platel & j'ai remarqué que les viennoiseries ont diminué de taille & de qualité, pour le prix je me souviens pas. En tout cas c'est dommage car tout les we j'allais prendre mes viennoiseries, surtout les croissants aux amandes que j'adorais...
The croissants are always large, buttery, & flaky. The best French bakery in Montreal in my opinion!
One of the best bakeries with good croissants & even better pastries. The Kouign Amman & chocolate eclair are also worth trying. They have maintained decent prices despite the inflation everywhere else. We always end up buying a lot of cakes during the holiday season from here!
