Review Summary

Park blends a modern yet intimate atmosphere with soft lighting and elegant furnishings, creating a welcoming setting for casual dinners and special occasions. The food is repeatedly praised for freshness and presentation, with sushi, sashimi, and tasting menus highlighted as standout, often accompanied by a wide sake, wine, and cocktail program. Service is described as attentive and knowledgeable, particularly at the sushi bar, though a few reviews note slower pacing or inconsistent timing in larger groups. The dining experience is frequently celebrated as refined and memorable, with many calling it a top sushi destination in Montreal, while several reviews emphasize that prices are high and value may vary depending on the menu chosen. Some guests recount phenomenal omakase experiences and exceptional hospitality, while others report lapses in service or crowding that detracted from the mood. Overall Park is seen as a premier, if costly, option for those seeking high quality Japanese fusion fare in a stylish setting, with strong opinions about price versus experience.

So "Somebody feed Phil" introduced us to this restaurant & Chef Antonio Park. You read about the guy, & you just admire the man. My wife booked the lunch for us & the restaurant is in a very nice neighbourhood of Westmount in Montreal. We were greeted by a lovely host (I think her name was Faye) originally from Dorset, Uk; who welcomed us like old friends. (She also greeted a lot of regulars that came in after us - so she is definitely skilled at her role!) She recommended us to actually go for the Park specials, but double up on the nigiris, so we get the variety. Good call! Some people don't get the fuss about sushi. The skill is not just fresh fish, the knife skills, or the right marinated rice, the temperature, the presentation, but the whole ensemble. Chef Park also introduced the idea of his Argentinian flavours in the dips & the fusion tastes of the west & the Japanese in some sauces that were brushed on the nigiri. The presentation is immaculate & it is an experience to have some top rated sushi. We were very lucky to find him at the restaurant on our visit. He was happy to have a chat. If you are a sushi lover in Montreal, you definitely should try it out.

Visited for a special birthday celebration - innovative sushi with a twist & creative dipping sauces. The sashimi & oysters were fresh & full of flavour. We shared the Premium sushi platter & doubled up the nigiri. At this price point we expected the best & were not disappointed.

We ordered the premium sushi platter, the sashimi were so fresh & reminded us of the sashimi we had in Japan! The sushi were also tasty & fresh! The wagyu sando was made with Wagyu ground beef, it was very smooth & tender but lack of that umami flavour. Anyway, it was still enjoyable! The service was good but not excellent, the attentiveness to be improved. Overall, it was a very good dining experience!

Insane. I have no words. The food was absolutely flawless, as was the service. The fish was fresh & flavorful. The supreme tasting menu was a decent portion. Absolutely no complaints.

Went for lunch, their menu is well priced for the quality. I wouldn't recommend the lunch box even though it was good, because it doesn't reflect the level of the other dishes. Yes you get a bit of everything ( gyozas, sushi, rice & salad ) but it is average in terms of taste compared to the rest. Sushis are really fresh & original, take thay over the lunchbox in my opinion. Will definitely comeback for lunch or dinner !

Top tier dining experience in Montreal. Went there for a special family occasion & we could not have been happier. Had the sushi platters, there was plenty of food for everyone. Recommend shelling out for the premium platters as you will get Otoro tuna & it is worth it! Everything was fresh, refined & tasty. Service was excellent & our waitress took the time to walk us through every single type of fish, maki & nigiri. Definitely on the pricier side but worth it to experience tastes you won't find anywhere else in the city.

Excellent choices of fresh sushi with a South American twist. They taste so nice you do not need soy sauce.

Excellent restaurant, small, not too big. The food is extremely fresh & very tasty with lots of flavor. Try the sashimi platter. Wait service is impeccable. Probably, the best sushi I have had in Montréal.

A friend & I went here for sushi last Saturday night. What we ate was very good - super fresh & nicely presented. However, the choice of different sushi is fairly limited, & they are available only in platters of 6 or 8. For the price, our meal was somewhat disappointing.

Very good in general, seafood extremely fresh, which is rare in montreal. However, it is NOT a traditional sashimi menu, a lot of fusion with korean & south american cuisine.

One of our favorites in Montréal. They’re usually amazing in all departments. They’re on & off. Nine out of ten times they’ll serve something that isn’t the freshest, we love sea urchin so when it’s borderline, it’s a bit of a turn off. But overall, too notch.
