Pacini specializes in authentic Italian cuisine, highlighting a diverse selection of freshly prepared pasta dishes and grilled specialties. The signature bread bar stands as a central feature, offering guests a variety of artisanal breads paired with an assortment of gourmet butter blends. Each pasta plate arrives customized to individual preferences, featuring a wide range of house-made sauces and premium ingredients sourced for optimal flavor profiles. The menu extends to include high-quality cuts of meat and seafood cooked on an open grill to ensure precise textures and smoky notes. This establishment prioritizes culinary consistency while providing a broad selection of recipes that emphasize traditional Mediterranean techniques. Diners encounter a focused culinary environment where every component, from the al dente noodles to the savory meat preparations, reflects a commitment to classic Italian gastronomy.
Pacini offers a welcoming atmosphere that many guests appreciate, particularly for family outings and group gatherings where the bread bar remains a highlight of the experience. Several visitors have enjoyed delicious meals and praised the professionalism and kindness of specific staff members who go out of their way to ensure a pleasant visit. While some patrons find the service attentive and the environment perfect for special occasions or meetings, others have noted inconsistencies in food preparation, wait times, and overall operational efficiency. Despite these varied experiences, the restaurant continues to be a go-to spot for those who enjoy its signature Italian-inspired offerings and friendly service style.
Gave me a salad with wilting / brown lettuce, pasta is definitely just reheated with little flavour. Bread bar is just a loaf of bread you toast yourself
Shameful to call themselves an Italian restaurant
Decent food, the salt steak is awesome, good service too!
Edit: This last review was six years ago. How far they have fallen. The last 3 times we came here, staff complain that they don't have staff, so service is super long. They can't re-fill the bread or the butter for the bread bar. Food is mid & arrives cold.
We had a good time coming to Pacini, it was my first time here. Definitely loved the bread section where you can toast your own bread with garlic butter, pesto butter, normal butter or tomato butter. The drinks were not that fascinating but we will most probably come here again. Thanks!
Food at Pacini is great as always. While it can be a bit pricey, it's undeniably delicious, especially the truffle dishes. I also loved the all-you-can-eat bread bar & the pesto butter, which is always a highlight. I appreciate that they have vegan & vegetarian options as well, along with a great selection of drinks. The restaurant itself is very nice, & we were seated quickly, as it wasn't busy when we arrived. However, the service needs improvement. Our server, Alexandre (if I recall correctly), seemed quite untrained. We went on a Friday around 5:30 pm, aiming to avoid the dinner rush, which we did since the restaurant was almost empty. Despite being friendly, our server lacked customer service experience. It took an hour & a half to receive our main course, & he didn't check in with us or acknowledge the delay. My 2 ½-year-old was getting antsy, & when I flagged him down to ask about our order, he assured us it'd be out in 5 minutes but took another 20. Meanwhile, other tables that arrived later received their meals. Then, when we requested the dessert menu, he dropped it off but didn't return to take our order until we flagged him down again, even though he was checking in on nearby tables. Overall, the food & ambiance are great, but service was disappointing. Hopefully, Pacini can provide better training for their staff to enhance the experience.
Party of 24, with only 1 server, she had no help, drinks for half of group received 40 min after sitting,! I mentioned yo manager who said he would help her out but he didn't. The pasta dishes were not hot enough, 3 of us sent them back to reheat them, bread bar is not checked enough, they ran out of plates & bread, my son opened cupboard below to get more bread out. This was only 6:30 & restaurant was no where close to full for a Saturday. Too many employees at the bar talking & taking too long with drinks. Disappointing as was my husband's 60th Birthday.
It was a bit too cold where we were sitting, high ceilings are an issue with keeping the restaurant warm in winter. It took a while for someone to add bread to the bread grill section also the garlic butter was empty.
Was here today for lunch. The atmosphere was fine.. The staff was great..attentive & friendly. We were disappointed with the pizza..it was tasty enough but very small & way overpriced..someone's idea of a small artisinal pizza. They should make the pizza larger or lower the price. P.s. the bread bar is terrific 👌
Used to be much better. Service was slow, & had to call their attention. We waited almost 10 mins to get seated (no one at the reception) We waited 20 mins to get asked for drinks (only 1 drink arrived after 20 mins & was the wrong drink). No water, no bread. Barely any service. Food finally came after 25 mins. Food was decent, at least. Or maybe by that time we were just too hungry. Still no water. Had to ask again. The only thing that came quickly was the bill.
