Definitely loved the bread section where you can toast your own bread with garlic butter, pesto butter, normal butter or tomato butter. The drinks were not that fascinating but we will most probably come here again. Thanks!View more
Food at Pacini is great as always. While it can be a bit pricey, it's undeniably delicious, especially the truffle dishes. I also loved the all-you-can-eat bread bar & the pesto butter, which is always a highlight. I appreciate that they have vegan & vegetarian options as well, along with a great selection of drinks. The restaurant itself is very nice, & we were seated quickly, as it wasn't busy when we arrived. However, the service needs improvement. Our server, Alexandre (if I recall correctly), seemed quite untrained. We went on a Friday around 5:30 pm, aiming to avoid the dinner rush, which we did since the restaurant was almost empty. Despite being friendly, our server lacked customer service experience. It took an hour & a half to receive our main course, & he didn't check in with us or acknowledge the delay. My 2 ½-year-old was getting antsy, & when I flagged him down to ask about our order, he assured us it'd be out in 5 minutes but took another 20. Meanwhile, other tables that arrived later received their meals. Then, when we requested the dessert menu, he dropped it off but didn't return to take our order until we flagged him down again, even though he was checking in on nearby tables. Overall, the food & ambiance are great, but service was disappointing. Hopefully, Pacini can provide better training for their staff to enhance the experience.View more
Fun concept with the garlic bread, & nice ambienceView more
Party of 24, with only 1 server, she had no help, drinks for half of group received 40 min after sitting,! I mentioned yo manager who said he would help her out but he didn't. The pasta dishes were not hot enough, 3 of us sent them back to reheat them, bread bar is not checked enough, they ran out of plates & bread, my son opened cupboard below to get more bread out. This was only 6:30 & restaurant was no where close to full for a Saturday. Too many employees at the bar talking & taking too long with drinks. Disappointing as was my husband's 60th Birthday.View more
It was a bit too cold where we were sitting, high ceilings are an issue with keeping the restaurant warm in winter. It took a while for someone to add bread to the bread grill section also the garlic butter was empty.
Was here today for lunch. The atmosphere was fine.. The staff was great..attentive & friendly. We were disappointed with the pizza..it was tasty enough but very small & way overpriced..someone's idea of a small artisinal pizza. They should make the pizza larger or lower the price. P.s. the bread bar is terrific 👌View more
Used to be much better. Service was slow, & had to call their attention. We waited almost 10 mins to get seated (no one at the reception) We waited 20 mins to get asked for drinks (only 1 drink arrived after 20 mins & was the wrong drink). No water, no bread. Barely any service. Food finally came after 25 mins. Food was decent, at least. Or maybe by that time we were just too hungry. Still no water. Had to ask again. The only thing that came quickly was the bill.View more
Wow Pacini has really uped their game, place looks great, service was excellent & the food was awesome. Pizza was fantastic & the fries are out of this world. With all the upgrades the bread bar is still there. Definately worth the visit.View more
*Trigger warning* pics of uncooked food attached. Mention of raw uncooked meat in review. The ambiance & decor was nice. The appetizers: arrancini balls were good but not consistent. Some balls were tastier than others. However they were all consistently crispy. A 7/10 The Calamari was done nicely. Not greasy. A touch heavy with the salt. A solid 7.5/10 - we really came to this place because we were nostalgic for the bread-bar we remembered as kids; nice to see that there is a bread-bar station. Good assortment of breads & spreads. Fun to toast bread on the grill. Mains: Pizza: tomato + cheese= 8/10 Nice presentation. Came to the table hot. Pasta Carbonara: Nice! 8.5 /10 Tasty. Arrived Hot. Pretty presentation with the egg. Spaghetti & shrimp: 8/10 Tasty, good. Satisfying Salad : Kale + lemon appetizer size : For me this portion size was perfect. The salad overall was fresh, zesty & delicious. 8.5 /10 **Meatballs : appetizers. This was supposed to be paired with my kale salad. So sad that it arrived lukewarm & was so dissapointing to find the meatballs raw in the middle. (Can you hear Gordon Ramsay yell "RAW"!!) They were so raw. - I would err on side of caution for this dish- I think this place is good for groups. Its got a good vibe & if popular items on the menu are chosen then its very likely that it will not dissapoint. * the reason for the low stars : obviously the raw unedible meatballs. After politely letting our waitress know that we were unable to eat or enjoy the dish because... it was raw. She said she would let the kitchen know. I was expecting that she would update us ; or offer apologies. She carried on as if nothing were amiss. & When it came time to pay. We were quite surprised to see the raw dish on the bill. SIGH We had to awkwardly ask that it be removed since ...the WHOLE thing was raw/ unedible/ no one ate it. *& no she never offered to replace the dish or offer a solution.* Ugh. the awkwardness..Ugh the raw meaty-ness UGHView more
Only one choice of IPA, & the keg was empty. Most restaurant i go to nowadays have at least 2 or 3 choices of IPA, including local brews. I mean... Micro des trois lac in Vaudreuil is just on the other side of the highway & you dont even sell their product?
We came to the restaurant at 18h00, & waited until 19h30 to finally get our food. This is a VERY LONG waiting time for a familly with 3 kids.
My garlic snails were half burnt on the outer rim of the plate.
Music for a birthday was so loud that our kid had to plug their ears & my 2 years old almost cried wondering what was going on.
Twice when we went to the grill, there was no more white bread.
The server was very apologetic about all those things, but told us there was sadly nothing she could do. She still offered a very nice service.
Food was mediocre, pizza was dry. Escargot cheese was burnt. We were not told about the bread bar.... until the entrees arrived & asked for bread with the pasta. It would have been nice to have with the escargot & the fondu which was good. paper napkins which is the first thing that I noticed it was second rate along with not changing the utensils after the appetizers. My biggest pet peeve is when the waiter takes the plates when everyone is not finished. It makes the people who are not finished feel rushed & uncomfortable. When I arrived I asked for a cozy table, the hostess said it was very busy, I had to point out it was an early reservation, & the restaurant is about 20% full, but she did give us a nice table & was very professional about it & a nice goodnight when leaving. For the price the service details should have been better. The atmosphere has a high potential of being a very classy place if it had those details in effect. Staff was very nice but inexperienced. I did like everyone I met they were very polite. I hope this helps you, you have great potential to be one of the best restaurants in the area.
