Afficher toutsando(112) cafe(106) matcha(95) sandwich(74) drink(70) latte(70) coffee(68) curry(66) music(65) vibe(63) recommend(51) tamago(46)
A couple who I met at a bar tipped us off that this is the spot blowing up on IG. Apparently, there's a pretty cool underground cocktail lounge, but we just stuck around for the cafe.
Not sure why, but I almost always defaulted to iced when it comes to matcha & hojicha lattes. I honestly can't remember the last time I ordered one hot, so it was just nice to switch it up & taste something different. Nothing special but still a really solid cup.
The Tamago Sando was fantastic though. Wished the kitchen hadn't forgotten the smoked salmon I added, but even without, it was great. A perfectly fried jammy egg, cracked pepper, & Mornay sauce. Not the traditional Japanese Kewpie mayo route, but this fusion with French Mornay sauce based on béchamel base loaded with Emmental cheese, gave the whole thing a nice savory boost.
They got good egg sandwich & matcha latte! Comfortable atmosphere for solo travellers.
Osmo is definitely a different spot in Montreal & worth trying at least once. I had never seen a coffee shop with Japanese food like this, so the concept alone made it a fun experience.
I really loved the salmon cucumber sandwich, & the miso soup was also very good. Next time I want to try their famous tamago sando. The ambiance is unique & the place feels lively, but it was quite loud & very busy around midday.
The only thing that disappointed me a bit was the drink. I ordered an iced caramel matcha coconut latte with extra sweetener, but I honestly didn't taste much flavor & it didn't taste sweet either. The matcha was just okay for me.
Also good to know: the entrance is a bit hidden, & you can enter from Clark Street.
Overall, it was a nice & different experience, especially for the food & ambient.
Très bon café:) jaime beaucoup le dirth chai latté glacé!!
Bouffe simple mais de bons choix & savoureux.
À noter que c'est un café comptoir donc il n'y a pas de service aux tables.
Très belle place!!
Been wanting to come here for a while & it did not disappoint. It is the perfect place to grab a quick lunch & study while you're at it. However it is a bit noisy so i would not recommend studying here if you get distracted easily.
The food & drinks were amazing! I like their hojicha latte & the curry rice the most but all their other options are amazing as well.
Le katsu curry est vraiment bon & croustillant, coup de ❤?pour le hojicha latte ! Bcp de monde le wk mais quand même super agréable
There was no sando when i visited today (2026/01/06), but the hojicha latte was very good!
The curry bowls here are the perfect size for lunch & are very delicious. The matcha was also tasty. They are not sweetened though in case you are looking for a sweet matcha latte. It was very busy when we stopped in but we were able to find space on one of the shared long tables very quickly.
Spot tres sympa, les cafés sont excellents !!! La bouffe est plutot bonne. Bon service
Bon systeme son, ideal pour ceux qui veulent de la musique dans un café 😉
Je recommande le sesame noir latte & le Osmo Fog!!
My hojicha latte was great, I just wish the music was slightly quieter for a better studying environment. The loudness (with the added sound of people talking) made it a bit distracting. Will be back to try the food next time!
Came here with my boyfriend on a Thursday afternoon & it was super packed with people studying but they were able to clear a seat for us to eat. 10/10 service for that!
We got the Karaage Sando & Tamago Sando. We found the tamago sando a bit plain, wish it had a bit more salt or maybe chili crisp 🤔🤔🤔. However, the karaage was delicious. We also shared a Hojicha Latte which was suuuper yummy, definitely recommend that.
Je viens régulièrement & j'adore leur café.
Il faut venir tôt ou tard pour éviter la file d'attente
Their hojicha oat latte changed my life. Beautiful spot, great staff, bustling crowd. It's a must visit in Montreal, & I can't wait to be back!!
They had the best karaage that I've ever had in North America so far. It is so juicy, tender & well-seasoned, always comes in fresh. They not just put the starch outside, but also keep the chicken skin & fried them well, which is really nice!
I would also recommend their matcha latte & h?jicha latte. They taste great as well!
The only downside for their meals is it comes with a small portion, only 2-3 pieces of chicken is a bit not enough. & the curry itself tastes a bit normal. I also ordered the karaage sandwich version but their bread is a bit dry. But at the end, definitely a big fan of the karaage flavor.
Ordered boiled egg sandwich, & had a matcha latte for the first time here. The sandwich was excellent, not over seasoned or soggy-nice & simple. The matcha was rich but not too heavy. The barista was very concentrated & careful while making it. The space was thoughtfully designed & clean without feeling sterile. Great experience overall.
The curry is delicious & the drinks were so good. Can personally recommend the Chai Latte & dirty Chai.
Great breakfast at this artsy, creative underground cafe ;) also had a delicious London fog with beautiful latte art. I recommend!
Bad coffee (beans) & bad pastry. Match latte was okay. No complaints on service.
Absolutely loved my experience at OSMO X MARUSAN!! A friend & I visited MTL for a few days & had breakfast twice at this cafe. We got the matcha latte (hot & cold) & both were great. We tried two breakfast sandos: the tamago (8/10) & the katsu (9/10). There was a bit of a line up & waited after ordering but the atmosphere was great & staff were very kind so the wait was not bad. I would definitely make another visit during my next trip to MTL!
