Tous nos mets et ingrédients sont fraîchement préparés, et ils sont 100 % végétaliens.
OPLANTE Sushi Wok Végétalien reçoit de nombreux avis positifs sur son buffet à volonté vegan, avec un service fluide et un assortiment frais et savoureux qui impressionne par la créativité des sushis végétaliens et les portions adaptées; les entrées comme les brochettes de champignons et le faux poulet et la salade d'algues sont particulièrement appréciées, et certains disent que c'est le meilleur sushi vegan à Montréal; c'est idéal pour un repas décontracté, un rendez-vous ou une fête; toutefois quelques retours évoquent un système de commande parfois source de confusion, des délais et des incohérences, et certains critiquent l'ambiance ou la propreté dans certaines zones; malgré cela, la cuisine reste variée et inventive et l'établissement attire des visites répétées de végétaliens et de non végétaliens.
Hi all, I just want to advise everyone that while the restaurant has a decent atmosphere & the vegetarian sushi are good, the price is now not only $35 for a vegetarian sushi buffet but 2 items or on the menu (& sometimes more) & now always out of stock & have not been restocked the many times we have come to eat at the restaurant in the last couple of months, making the overall meal now seemingly more expensive. For example, Lemon Fish is on the menu but has been greyed out & we are always told it has been sold out even though we came once a month. Basic appetizer as simple as spring rolls are now always out of stock even though we were the first wave of customers for the evening... (we were the first sitting of diners coming to have supper at the restaurant for the night). For the price of $35, there is no drinks (not even fountain soft drinks) included & no desserts included in the buffet menu. & worst of all The entire restaurant with over 50 customers (the restaurant being basically full house) is served by a platter-bringing robot on wheels & a waitress who is also a cashier for the night? How do you feel about having a reservation & having to wait 15 minutes lined up at the front to be seated? or having to go & get your own dishes, cutlery, napkins, dishes, or even get your own pitcher of water because it is just so slow? or how about your orders have been marked as served but you had orders of food missing? This is what happened in our last visit. So it appears while the price stays the same, there are choices of food taken out (or permanently sold out) compared to the restaurant buffet menu of a year ago or even a few months ago... If you accept all the downsides above, it is otherwise still a good restaurant to go... the food is decent, for a vegetarian buffet... but for the price range of $30 something dollars, there may be better non-vegetarian buffet choices out there in Montreal...since the service during the last visit is poor to nonexistent.
Nous avons vraiment aimé le buffet sushi végétalien! Il y avait une bonne variété de plats délicieux: soupe wonton, miso ou aigre douce; salade d'algue, edamame, ravioli à la sauce aux arachides (épicé & non épicé), gyoza, brochette de faux poulet, tempura aux legumes, fausses crevettes frites, sautés aux légumes, tofu, faux poulet à l'ananas, faux boeuf au sésames, nigiri au faux thon & saumon, sushi aux légumes, sushi avec fritures, sushi enrobés de peau de tofu, sushi jalapeno, sushi pistache, sushi pizza & plus encore. Ainsi que des boules de sésames pour le dessert. Très bon service à table. Le robot faisait les aller retour entre la cuisine & la salle à manger, puis la serveuse amenait les plats du robot à notre table. Le service était rapide. Nous avons bien pris le temps de manger en 2h. La décoration & les meubles sont aussi appréciés. À refaire quand on veut un bon buffet sushi végétalien!
Best resto in montreal. Amazingly flavorful vegetarian food including veg sushis, fast & friendly service, 18$ all you can eat lunch. Update: the all you can eat option is now (dec 2024) 35$ + tips + tax…
Je suis venu la semaine dernière & j'ai été surpris de la qualité du service qui était excellent ( Chloé ) & la nourriture était très savoureuse, je reviendrai c'est certain !
Service hyper lent. Les serveuses ne sont pas venues nous voir une seule fois pour voir si tout était à notre goût. Il a fallu les appeler ou bien se lever pour leur demander si notre commande allait arriver. Elles étaient sur leur téléphone derrière le comptoir & j'ai dû aller les voir. Plus d'une heure après avoir passé la première commande pour recevoir ce que nous avions commandé.
Update Oct 2024 The only issue with OPLANTE "all you can eat" is the dessert. There is a single option, & ice cream even not included (as it's not began, per what they say). Personally I don't even like the look of the dessert (see picture). Other than that, the dishes are generous, the service is fine, & the robot is still with them. While at your table - scanning the menu to your phone, & you're good to go. Price of $35 for dinner is OK. --- Even though all item are vegan, you can't really tell the difference. Everything is like the real thing, & is tasty. Service is OK. The gimmick is a robot which brings over some of the dishes from the kitchen to the center of the restaurant (not to the tables). Some dishes, like the soup are not brought by the robot. I think that the robot name is Bella, since when sent it back to the kitchen, its caption says "Bella go home". The two things which make my visit les optimal are: 1) the desserts. Only one item! I find this unacceptable for an all your can eat menu. When I asked about it, they offer me an ice cream as well. When I order it, they told me that they no more have it. This made my first impression a bad one. 2) Somewhat pricy. There are no lunch hour, so you must pay for a dinner, which is around $35, before taxes. They are not open daily. When they do it opened at 4:30 PM. 3) They does not seem to care about responding to emails & reviews.
La nourriture est absolument excellente! Les choix sont hallucinants & les plats sont frais & bien faits! Dépendamment du jour & de l'heure l'ambiance change. Le service est fait par des humains... & des robots! Absolument recommandé pour les choix véganes !
I have visited when it newly open years ago, they really impressed me through out the years how they managing & creating these amazing dishes, regardless of authentic or creative they are among the top in chain !
Très bonne cuisine japonaise végane dans l'ensemble. Mention honorable au fait qu'il est possible d'acheter les simili utilisés dans les plats directement sur place (faux thon/saumon, fromage, etc)
Amazing Vegan food available! Wish there is one in the south shore! Just that it is not too easy to park around there! All the food is great! Love the broccoli with beef, sushi 🍣 , rolls, the veggie tempura, fried Japanese style tofu are great. Our family visit quite a few times a year. Recommended if you want to eat & stay healthy! The photos are part of the food we had enjoyed the other night.

The food was great & the place has a nice open atmosphere. However, it was easy to hot in there, & the ordering method was a mess. We had to reorder several times, & at the end, all the original orders came to the table. Helpful tip: Type your name in the comment box when ordering.
Si tu cherches un buffet à volonté vegan celui ci est parfait. La qualité n'est pas plus ou moins élevé que la norme des buffets à volonté à la différence que celui ci est vegan Les makis-sushis sont vraiment bon! Petit + pour le robot chat mignon qui aide aux services Le total pour 35$/personne
