Super bon & authentique, le mazemen était pareil à celui que j'ai mangé au Japon! Une super place pour luncher dans le quartier des affaires.

Atmosphere & decor were incredible! Staff were attentive & friendly. However, the food was really lacking. My noodles were way too over seasoned tasting super salty & fatty making it unpleasant to eat. Fastfood quality made it feel overpriced unfortunately.

Having experienced this place at the start of our Montreal road trip, we returned on our last leg before heading home. We can report that the tonkotsu ramen was equally good the second time round. We also tried the very spicy lamb mazemen & although I could take the heat, certain spices just make my head sweat. Really tasty! The extra surprise this time was the fish cake which was a lovely starter.

Even though we went in a day were the service was slow, probably due to the fact that they were at full capacity, the food did not disappoint. Delicious tonkotsu & the surprisingly delicious neotokyo. Really enjoyed my time with my wife there.

Great atmosphere, super good vibes. Food was excellent & service amazing. I forgot my sunglasses, came back a week later & the staff not only kept them safe for me, they even remember where I sat.

Ambience is great! We were at the bar each time. Love looking at them cooking. Vegetarian ramen was good Eggplant 🍆 dish was very very good! Ramen was decent

Many moons ago, I came across Kinton Ramen in Chicago. I was looking forward to finding one in Montreal, but then I got distracted & came across this ramen-ya! Neo Tokyo had a little bit of that underground grunginess that you see in many Japanese manga/anime & sci-fi films. It transports you into that pseudo Matrix set. Our hostess (I think she is Meriem, at least that's what the bill said. Sorry, I should have asked;) was jokingly asking us if we want the French or English version of her services. Regretfully my français est très mal. So we went with English. The selection of appetizers were fantastic. Japanese fusion, they would not be out of place in any top Japanese restaurants: Spicy Karaage Nasu Agebidash Agedashi Tofu Kimchi Tsukemono You can really sense the various textures & depths of flavour. Then the main event: Tonkotsu! I have religiously tried many places from Japan, US, UK & it is a real skill to combine both the right noodles & the broth. Neo Tokyo hits that bulls eye on both counts. The firmness of the noddles & the richness of the broth were both exceptional! The creaminess is so smooth. Your inner noodle-self will thank you profusely!

The atmosphere was awesome. It felt like being in Tokyo. I ordered a spicy dish & they served it with a glass of milk just in case.

Cuisine TOP mais un peu trop salée à mon goût ! Cadre qui met directement dans l'ambiance & qui permet de passer un agréable moment de partage en discutant tranquillement autour d'un bon repas "authentique"

The ambiance is really nice, music Wait staff is very polite & knowledgeable, & friendly too The food is delicious, fresh, not heavy at all, There's a bit of wait, but since we were only two , we choose to be seated right away at the counter, good decision in our part, we had eagle view in both cooks/chefs , who also found a bit of time to chat with us ! I will go back definitely & recommend We could see they were also very busy with take out / delivery

Une expérience culinaire de qualité, les plats sont copieux, extrêmement bien cuisinés. Le sorbet aux agrumes est délicieux. Il a un goût de trop peu, on y reviendra. Le service est agréable & suivi. Le lieu est assez bien décoré dans une ambiance urbaine & japonaise. Un incontournable pour moi, j y retourne souvent.

Perfect restaurant. Hits all criteria perfectly. Vibe, food, staff's friendliness, whatever criteria you set they will satisfy. Had spicy karaage, miso truffle, tonkotsu, chicken ramen, & the mazemen, & all of them were top tier. Highly HIGHLY recommend
