2026: the second time was even better. Those spicy chicken wings are so good. The neotokyo beef bowl is also quite nice. The lychee mocktail is yummy. Service was better than 1st time also
2025: Such a cool vibe! I am curious to go back & try some other options for sure.
Initially wasn't sure if we had to be seated or seat ourselves! It was quite busy. Workers are great.
Wish we had better service for the water, but it was super busy so it is fine!
I did not enjoy the octopus entry cause of the mayo, I would have loved it without.
The noodle however were amazing.
The fillipino style clementine ice cream was awesome
The ramen noodles are good. The ambiance is great. The prices aren't excessive for the location & food. Wouldn't recommend the curry it was overly salty. I couldn't finish it.
Service was great & the decor was fun. The ramen had perfectly cooked noodles & a flavorful broth, though the pork chashu was a little too fatty. The ice cream was excellent!
We had a wonderful experience. Had been looking to go here for a while. We have the curry mazeman, the summer promo kimchi & bacon mazeman & the chikua tempura which was essentially a fish cake mozzarella stick. All of the food was phenomenal - the portion sizes were excellent & really represent the price. The kimchi bacon mazeman was so light & fresh tasting (even though it was noodles!), I would go back for this dish alone. The curry was perfectly savoury with the perfect level of spice.
The restaurant itself is so beautiful designed & you feel a bit dystopian/blade runner while sitting inside.
The service was also really fantastic - which I feel is becoming harder to find in Montreal these days. I was super impressed by the host, the server & the table runners. Incredibly polite & attentive. 10/10 experience all around.
Atmosphere wise, this place is really cool & scores a 100 for vibe, feels like AKIRA. Definitely check it out at least once. Decent ramen, they give you a good amount of noodles BUT the truffle ramen I ordered had no meat at all just a couple of mushrooms & cabbage...? Quite a disappointment for a $20 bowl, not recommended. The Takoyaki was good, recommended.
The Yakisoba (their Monday special) was surprisingly good, we really liked it, you could taste the lightly charred flavor, wife & I loved it. Overall the ramen just was OK at least for the ones I ordered, otherwise this could've been a 5 stars.
Sooo so good. The hamachi crudo is really special. The karage was crispy & very good. The crème de bacon dry ramen was excellent. Think Japanese inspired carbonara. So so good. Also had the mazesoba was also very good. The noodles in both dishes were perfectly chewy. The service was friendly, attentive & efficient. Highly recommend.
This place has a wonderful atmosphere & service. I definitely recommend it for anyone that is a blade runner fan or loves the neo tokyo atmosphere from Ghost in the Shell. Either way, I would still recommend anyone to visit this restaurant to try out their ramen! However, the ramen is unfortunately the downfall of this place. I had to pay extra just to have a spice to put on the ramen. The soup itself was not as rich & the noodles were subpar but still enjoyable. Take a visit if you haven't yet!
I would give it 5 stars alone for the interior alone, but that's not exactly fair & I'm biased. There was a bit of wait on Thursday night, but it's manageable. Once we were seated the food didn't take too long. Tried curry, two different varieties of noodles. Everything tasted great in its own way. I think the curry was a bit too salty probably. Service was excellent & I really liked the attitude of their staff. I really have to comment on the girl that served us since the could hear us so well despite being a bit noisy around.
On a Friday night, we had to wait for 20 min for a table. They ask for our number to call us when a place is available. We had to wait for around 15 min for the food to come. The food was just average. We took the Tokyo style & Tonkotsu ramen & the broth was too salty. The quantity is too little. For the egg, you only get half of it. The noodles texture was perfect. It was expensive, around 20$ a bowl. The karaage was good but ordinary & is not in big quantity. The server was nice & quick. I wouldn't come back
For Montreal ramen it was very good. As we just got back from Japan we're hesitant to eat Japanese food here since we know it will never measure up, but this was very satisfying. Tonkatsu ramen: broth lacked some depth, noodles lacked some chew, but the porc was incredibly tender & tasty, egg was probably the best ramen egg I've ever had, & the bamboo had great flavour. Staff was friendly & the vibe is cool. Overall I'd go back
