Went for the omakase experience & absolutely loved it!
The 12-course menu was excellent, but what truly stood out were the service & ambiance. The team was outstanding. Henry was phenomenal, professional, attentive, & genuinely kind. He made spot-on recommendations throughout the evening.
Sunny, the chef, was incredibly welcoming & warm. With 21 years of experience & counting, you can definitely taste the expertise in every bite.
It's a beautiful place that feels special from the moment you walk in. Perfect for a night out with family, friends, or even on your own-as I did. I had an amazing time with the team & the people around me.
Highly recommended!
Thank you & keep it up !
Meilleur expérience sushi à Montréal. Une équipe de qualité & très serviable. Titouan a fait un travail remarquable dans son service & les sushis du Chef Sunny sont exceptionels !!!
The food prepared by Sunny (hope I got this right) & his culinary team was excellent. I highly enjoyed the Amberjack, main dish of duck & foie gras (perfectly balanced in terms of complex flavour profiles, sweetness, savoury, fatty & texturally) with an amazing delicate & incentive rice pudding dessert with a hint of salt to round out the omakase meal.
Thank you to Henry & the rest of the staff for the hospitality & I'll be looking forward to next time.
I had an incredible dining experience here. What impressed me most was the level of thought & care that went into every aspect of the restaurant.
GaCong (The chef) is truly passionate about his craft. Having dedicated years to self-learning & continuous improvement, his creativity shines through in every dish. Each course was beautifully presented, thoughtfully composed, & most importantly, absolutely delicious. You can tell that every ingredient & detail has a purpose.
Beyond the food, the restaurant itself creates a wonderful atmosphere. The interior design is elegant, refined, & welcoming, making it the perfect setting for a special occasion or an intimate fine dining experience. Every element, from the plating to the ambiance, feels carefully considered.
This is more than just a meal-it's an experience. If you're looking for exceptional omakase, outstanding craftsmanship, & a memorable fine dining atmosphere, I highly recommend visiting.
was a really nice & welcoming experience from front of house to chef, & that's without mentioning the quality of the food which was also top tier.
We had a wonderful time & loved almost every aspect of our visit. The only downside was the food. It wasn't entirely bad, but quite a few of the dishes were surprisingly bland & really needed more flavor. That being said, everything else was so fantastic that it still made for a great experience overall.
We had an excellent experience at this sushi restaurant. We sat at the counter & were served directly by the chefs, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
Both chefs, Ga Cong & Sunny, were outstanding. They introduced every sushi dish, explained the ingredients & preparation, & made us feel very welcome throughout the meal. They were friendly, respectful, knowledgeable, & able to communicate in multiple languages, which was greatly appreciated.
The food was exceptional, & the service was equally impressive. The manager was also very kind, attentive, & helpful, ensuring that everything went smoothly.
A special thank you to Ga Cong for making our evening truly memorable. His passion for sushi, attention to detail, & genuine enthusiasm were evident throughout the entire experience. He took the time to explain each piece with care & made every interaction engaging & enjoyable. His professionalism, knowledge, & warm personality created a welcoming atmosphere that elevated our dining experience. Ga Cong is a true asset to the restaurant, & we greatly appreciated his outstanding hospitality.
The service was great but the food was rather underwhelming for the price they ask (170$ per person omakase). The miso black cod (their plat de resistance) presentation was bland as the fish was sitting on a puree, glazed in a thick sauce. Rather unappealing. The wagyu beef was minced wagyu sitting on two bread blocks. Taste was very poor & presentation was lazy. The dessert was similar to two dry ladyfingers. Taste was crumby, unsophisticated, atrocious. Might as well have got that dessert from a dollar store & try to decorate the plate but it doesn't change the underlying taste. I will never go again, especially after what they charged. They did not even ask how we enjoyed the meal at the end as they probably knew themselves taste was not great
