Muru Crêpe comes across as a small cozy cafe in Old Montreal with Totoro themed decor that many reviewers find charming. The atmosphere is described as cute and cozy, making it a good spot for a quick breakfast or a sweet treat. The menu centers on crepes and drinks such as matcha latte, hojicha latte, rose latte and other specialties. The crepe creme brulee and the coffee receive frequent compliments, and latte art is often highlighted as a fun touch. The space is small so waiting for a seat is common, but staff are described as friendly and attentive. Decor and ambience are praised for creating a memorable experience, especially for fans of Totoro and Japanese style. Some reviews note the venue can feel touristy, portions may be generous but prices can be high, and washrooms cleanliness varies. Overall it remains a charming breakfast and cafe stop that many would return to. The overall impression is a cute, flavorful crepe experience with dependable service in a distinctive themed setting.
Muru Crêpe is a lovely cafe. We enjoyed the chicken sandwich & fabuleux crêpe. The military latte is different, delicious & so cute. The staff were friendly & service was fast which was especially helpful with a toddler in tow. My kids loved the fish tank near the washroom. The themed decor is fun. My family would go back.

Muru Crepe is an absolute must-visit if you're wandering through the cobblestone streets of Old Montreal.
I stumbled upon this spot looking for a quick bite, & it ended up being the highlight of my morning.
The crepes are perfection-light, golden, & slightly crisp at the edges. I tried the Matcha Tiramisu crepe, & the balance of flavors was incredible. Not too sweet, just purely decadent.
Everything is Instagram-ready. From the delicate plating to the beautiful latte, hot chocolate & capuchino art, you can tell the chefs truly care about the details.
The atmosphere is cozy, modern, & welcoming. It's the perfect escape from the busy tourist areas while still capturing that historic Old Port charm.
The staff was incredibly friendly & patient while I decided between their many tempting options.
Whether you're looking for a sweet treat or a savory lunch, Muru Crepe delivers. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the city!
I stumbled upon this restaurant when looking for directions to the Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal. This place is a great find if you like Torotoro. Gave me the Japan vibe & it was very cute. The restaurant is small so expect to wait to be seated.
Cute little café/ brunch spot in the Old port of Montreal. Big menu with lots of variety. There are sweet & savory dishes to please everyone. The drink menu is also very vast. We tried the lattes & they were delicious (& huge). The crème brulee crepe is a MUST.

Such a charming café & brunch spot in Old Montreal! Most items on the menu are under 20$, the latte art is incredible & very nice & helpful staff, always good times at Muru! I highly recommend the Crème Brûlée crêpe!
Cute little café with good options for a quick breakfast. The food is tasty, but the menu & seating capacity are both quite limited, which is the only downside.
Perso, j'adore & j'aime y retourner :)
The crepe & coffee were delicious! Good to note if you just want coffee, they require you to order at least one dish. It's more of a brunch/lunch spot.
