Was visiting my hometown & had a chance to have dinner with an old friend. I wanted to just say thank you to the wonderful people of Montreal Plaza! We placed ourselves in the hands of the chef & had the best 5 course meals with exceptional service. Plaza has the vibe & ambience of the places we could afford in our youth with the exceptional food & service of the Michelin 3 restaurants we both now enjoy. It has the grace, presence & wonderful food without the pomposity. The weeknight experience was just so much fun! The place was hopping with seemingly every table with large parties celebrating something. Music would break our & cakes brought out. Yet, it was subtle & quiet enough for two people to just catch up & chat.....This is best attributed to an exceptional physical plant & an amazing wait staff who move between English & French with ease.

We did the tasting menu- & it was a special occasion. We felt really rushed/ they were dropping the food courses 2 at time. It was a tiny table- so this made it feel crowded- & really hurried. Also- by the time we finished one dish- the other they had brought with it was cold. The room is quite bright- & tables are really close together, & the music is pretty load- so not the most intimate or romantic vibe. Service was very attentive. The food is really interesting ( if not down right odd) & beautifully prepared. We arrived at 6:15- & we had been served 5 courses by 7:15. Tooooo rushed, it spoiled the overall experience.
um restaurante que recomendo definitivamente. Vou começar pela decoraçao única. Você saberá do que falo quando visitar. A comida é ótima. A equipe é muito motivada, simpática e prestativa. Eles sabem descrever a refeiçao para atrair sua atençao

Montréal Plaza has always been a sure bet for delicious food & fun ambiance. Now I'd like to give more props to them for their amazing service. In a time where the art of restaurant service seems to be in decline, this place shines in its attention to detail. The service is exemplary: professional & polished. It makes such a huge difference in the experience. What a great team you have! Thank you.
Dined in. Amazing staff! They absolutely listen to everything, take care of all of your things the moment you step in, help you curate your order, 10/10 service trust me! Would be a great spot to celebrate birthdays or group events!
This is my favourite restaurant in Montreal. I take Charles-Antoine Tete for a a cooking genius, always trying to innovate & he does it wonderfully well. The service is amazing, fun, warm, & simple all at once creating a superb place to spend an evening for a romantic dinner or with friends. Actually, I am grateful to the team for having created such a wonderful place in Montreal.
My partner's birthday celebration was spoiled by our server. We also had her bestfriend from out of the country visiting at the same time. I had planned a dinner at Montreal plaza - hearing all the great reviews & recommendations by friends. We were disappointed in his overall demeanour & professionalism. He had recommended that we order about 5-8 sharing plates for the meal. We had ordered 5 plates (to start), but we felt as if there was a lack of interest in us as he deemed we didn't order "enough". As we we're having our meal, we were praising the food that was served but was welcomed with a passive aggressive undertone. We felt as if we were a nuisance being served. Also to note that his phone was a Pittbull song whilst inside his pockets. We didn't know whether he had forgotten to put his phone on silent, but proceeded to serve the table beside us with the same music blaring on his phone. Although this was the case, the food, the host & food expeditors were very on point. The brussel sprouts, the welks, the yakitori, & the chicken liver mousse were the highlights of our dinner. Shout out to the rest of the team that gave us excellent service. I'm not one to write a review unless I've experienced something that's unacceptable, but unfortunately the vibe was tainted by the server playing "I know you want me" by Pittbull on his phone speaker. The lack of service led us to decide to opt out for dessert & cut our dinner short. The candle & song for celebration were definitely appreciated but simultaneously only a bill & an empty smile from our server was dessert. We would definitely try again with a different server overseeing our experience.

Nous avons prix le menu dégustation & WOW! Le mélange des saveurs était parfait & unique. Que dire de la présentation qui était sublime. Plusieurs produits locaux. Service est particulièrement incroyable. Nous avons passé une superbe soirée & avons déjà hâte de récidiver l'expérience.
We visited here on our Mini moon, can't put it all to words the amazing time we had here celebrating. We had the tasting menu & added yakitori. Everything is so well thought out from the food to the decorations & atmosphere. Each dish complemented the next & it was well worth every penny. Charles also was there & greeted us & said hello to our little guy, it's great to see him & his partner are still so very involved & there love for the place shows. A memorable dining experience id recommend to anyone.

Je recommande fortement! Pour l’anniversaire de mon grand ami qui a tout & presque tout essayer ce restaurant était parfait! Service exceptionnel! Menu dégustation exceptionnel! Fine dining experience with a fun cool atmosphere. We asked for recommendations from the waiter & it was spot on for food, wine & dessert. Music was really cool everybody seemed to be enjoying it. They play cool music for your birthday & bring a cake with a candle. I had a great time & I would love to go back.
Explosion de saveur & de fraîcheur avec des produits locaux! Resto bruitant & chaises peu confortables mais l’expérience culinaire nous fait oublier ces petits défauts…
