This came highly recommended from work colleagues.
A bit overhyped in my opinion.
We got the tasting menu & added the Bourgot Miso.
Food had interesting flavor combinations & very experimental but not memorable & not something we would return for, except for the Bourgot Miso (but seriously only 2 pieces of bread???)
We had good service initially but there was a lull of about 30-40 minutes between services. Being first time clients here, our waitress didn't come back to the table even once to see how we were liking the food.
It was very loud & hard to talk, but very decorated, very homey & quirky. Couldn't hear my partner talk because of the music.
For the amount you pay here, there are better options out there.

Une des meilleures tables à Montréal sans aucun doute! Ca faisait un moment que je n'y étais pas allée & dernière minute on a décidé de tenter notre chance & quelle soirée! Le service est impeccable & les plats sont incroyablement beaux & délicieux ❤? Je vous recommande de réserver, même si ce soir j'ai tenté ma chance, il etait assez tôt & on a pu avoir une table, mais quand on est parti c'était plein! Je reviendrai!

I recently visited Montreal Plaza, a well-known spot in the city that often gets a lot of buzz. While the ambiance was quirky & the service attentive, the overall dining experience didn't quite live up to the expectations. The menu was creative, but some dishes felt more style than substance. Flavors were decent & memorable, but portion sizes were on the smaller side for the price.

It's a nice place if you're curious to try something trendy or enjoy the vibe, but personally, I found it a bit overrated. There are definitely other spots in Montreal that offer a more satisfying experience at a better value.

Very uneven. Uncomfortably long gaps between services. We took the sharing menu & were generally disappointed. It demonstrated some very good execution, like the crab in an egg shell, but otherwise, we were underwhelmed. Service was simply too long. It took well over an hour to start eating. The atmosphere was fun, damped by the lack of sustained rhythm of serving of food.

J'ai passé une merveilleuse soirée au Montreal Plaza ! J'ai été servi par Louis ( 10 ans dans la maison ) qui as su nous accueillir & nous mettre à l'aise tout au long de l'expérience. L'ambiance est super chaleureuse & le staff aussi.
Pour ce qui est de la nourriture j'ai juste un mot : WOW ! De l'entrée au dessert tout était INCROYABLE. J'ai pris tout ce qu'il yavait en poisson ce soir j'y retournerai certainement pour la viande. Le flétan était cuit à la perfection & le mariage des saveurs juste magnifique. Le tartare a la courge était si délicieux. Tous les ingrédients sont de qualité jusqu'au moindre détail ( l'huile d'olive 🤤 les huitres 🤤 le pain ) bref absolument tout. Ca vaut bien chaque dollars que j'ai dépensé est ce que j'y retournerai 100%. Allez y les yeux fermés !!!
