Good local microbrewery right in the heart of Hudson Village. It's a fairly small brewery though in season they have an outdoor patio area. The friendly owner gave my bro & I a tour of the brewing area. They offer a nice selection of beers on tap (about 10) & the ones I tried were very good. You can also purchase some in cans to take home. They offer several seasonal beers & sometimes make small test batches of new beers or new brewing ingredients (new suppliers or types of hops etc.) I didn't have any food but the meals I saw looked good. Clean facilities.
Great place to stop at. Staff was really friendly & she walked us through some of their beers. Nice selection of beer & I really like the way they have the tiles behind the taps to label & draw on. The space is open & welcoming, my daughter was having a blast using the giant jenga blocks to build things. Nice setup for music too. Both of the beers we got were delightful, I had the stout & my wife had the amber. The amber had a nice rich malty flavor.
We also ordered their nachos & olive plate. The olive plate was a lot more than I had expected with a nice variety of olives. The nachos were layered really well, almost every chip had cheese or something on it. The corn was an interesting touch, but the red sauce was delicious. I'm really glad we took a slight detour to stop here as it was well worth it. Also the free wifi is a nice touch.

I was eager to give this place a five-star rating, as I believe it's a great local spot for a quick bite & a few beers. Unfortunately, the service was quite disappointing. While I understand the demands of working in this industry(It ain't always easy working with people), but the two staff members on duty seemed to be making minimal effort. On receiving my order, I smiled & offered a sincere'Thank you,' but the girl simply slid the plate over & turned away without a smile or a'you're welcome.' It may have been a bad day for them, so I don't want to be overly harsh, but I hope to see a more welcoming experience on my next visit. On a positive note, the beer was better than I expected, & the food was simple but good.
Microbrasserie Cardinal is a little GEM in the middle of Hudson & a must visit!
Very down to earth, with it's arty vibes, local live music, trivia, outdoor summer seating (also super cool & cozy in Winter) creates an unforgettable charm to connect with people & life:)
You will encounter so much fun, music but most important a selective collection of different beers. (Oktoberfest-Märzen 👍🏻🍺) Beer lovers you will for sure find what you are looking for & for those who love music never a tune short. A very lively & superb experience👌🏻!
I wanted to like Cardinal but the food was very basic - salad appeared unwashed & from a bag, the guacamole also industrial & served with tostitos. I found the 4 IPA's quite bitter - but on reading the gracious reaction from our host & checking with my wife - she liked the IPA's - so I'm changing my review: if you like beer, it is a good place to go!
Nice little brewery in Hudson. The beers were great. the Germany white was really good & the raspberry blonde was delicious. If ever you get a a coffret prestige before going. You will get two palets of four beers with a snack & pinthe glass to take home.
Decent beer, good service. Would be better if they didn't bend to being a'third space' for every depressed millennial parent with 2+ kids they can't be bothered to wrangle. Don't go on a Friday night after 5 if you're looking to have a beer & unwind; you're more likely to run into a sad divorcé with kids they can't be bothered to look after.

Advance scouting for a birthday party, 20 people beer was delicious, but did not feel welcome at all! Was asked to pay in advance before I recieved my food or beer. So I think we'll find another venue. The place has potential i initially try it because we stopped by on the day of the parade the food looked tantalizing on the grill. I guess that was just for the parade. My food was prepared at the bar no grill in site & less than a handful of chips that looked like they came from the bottom of the bag. Tipped 20% & left
Cardinal Brewing is such a welcoming spot - we've been several times now & always love it! The space is small but warm & inviting, with a friendly staff & a relaxed, all-ages vibe. You'll see everyone from kids to grandparents enjoying themselves, & even well-behaved dogs are welcome, which adds to the fun atmosphere.
The beer selection is fantastic, with some really unique & creative options like their Peppermint Stout, Peanut Butter Cup Porter, Guava Witbier, & Coffee Stout - there's always something new to try! They also have tasty snacks to keep you going while you sip.
If you find a favourite brew, you can grab some cans to take home & enjoy later. Such a great little microbrewery - definitely worth a visit if you're in Hudson! 🍻🐶
Just had an amazing experience at their open mic! The owners have obviously done a lot of work to make a wonderful community of music & beer around this town.
