The baristas for the most part are fantastic but in the morning for some reason there's only one. There's a line out the door & people leaving becuse the single barista takes the orders, makes the food in the back leaving the front unattended & makes all the drinks, takes orders to customers & buses tables, etc.
I don't think the owners have ever been in before 8:30 to witness the chaos.
Just put 2 poeple on in the morning, already.
Again, the people making the schedules are the problem.

I love this place!
I just don't get why with a lineup everyday, even on the weekend, just one person's running the entire place. Half the time they are making food or doing dishes in the back & noone is in front dealing with the annoied undercaffinated customers. They're seriously understafed.

AM staffing issues appear to be sorted 👍🏼

It is incredibly frustrating when the popularity of a spot outpaces its staffing. Baristas are routinly forced to bounce between the espresso machine, the sink, & the prep station (in the back out of sight), the tables inside & out, just to keep the doors open.

Mikko was on my top 3 Quebec coffee place for a couple of years. Last Saturday I drove AN HOUR there & expected to « enjoy » my cortado, however, everything changed. I am so disappointed that the taste change & no latte art. Doubt they changed the team, new barista or changed the bean that caused this 🥺

Super café de quartier. Le goût du café est excellent. Le service était super, il faut être patient avec la barista qui est seule + un café déjà plein à 08h00, ce ne sont pas des magiciens! Merci pour la qualité du café. Toujours un plaisir d'arrêter à vélo!

The young gentleman at the cash was so friendly & sweet. The matcha is whisked properly & the ice cream was delightful.
Love this place.
