One of the best Indian/Pakistani food spots in town. The chai is authentic & a must have! I've had almost everything on the menu & highly recommend the Dahi Puri & Pani Puri. The Gulab Jamun Cheesecake is very good too & everything savory is a must-have. Beautifully done venue, very accessible.
I recently went to an event at Chaishai, & honestly, I was blown away by how welcoming the owners, Nahid & Samad, were. They made everyone feel so comfortable & really went out of their way to check in on each guest.
I had the biryani
& wow. If you're craving real, flavorful, authentic biryani, this is the spot. & don't even get me started on the chai… hands down one of the best I've had. So full of flavor no exaggeration!

The food was fantastic.. the quality of chat options was wonderful. The Kashmiri chai tasted really authentic & not to overpowering. Overall a wonderful place for a sit down meal

The food presentation was absolutely amazing, & every dish was incredibly fresh & delicious. All our guests loved the food! What truly stood out was the exceptional service. The owners went above & beyond by personally delivering the food to my home to help make the surprise even more special. Their care & dedication truly made a difference. Cozy restaurent with authentic Indian interior decor. Takes you in a quick visit to India whilst being in Montreal. Family owned & food is prepared with love. Definitely lovely place to meet with friends & have a good meal. Highly recommend their karak chai.
Maison Chai Shai serves some of the best chai in the city. The ambiance is cozy & charming. It's the ideal spot to relax & enjoy authentic chai & snacks in a peaceful setting. The entire menu is halal, & the friendly service tops off a great experience!
