Great food at an affordable price. Mainly pastas so not much else.
Great for families or couples. Casual vibe.
Service was good & quick! Often busy at night.
Nice location in the old port.
A delightful experience all around! We came in looking for reasonably priced pasta, & were surprised with an all-you-can-eat salad bar included with the main. 100% worth the price for what was included. The portions were generous & the water crisp.
My favorite place in the Old Port! It's affordable & the food is just amazing. I love everything in their menu, they have a good variety of flavors for everyone. Pasta lovers, you will be served. However, you can to come either early or late, if not you will wait in line for a long time. It is worth it? I would say, definitely! They also have unlimited salad bar, which is amazing if you need your veggies doses haha! I totally recommend!
Food was okay but not authentic pasta. During our main course, we ran out of water & this was not refilled, hence a slightly lower tip. But after paying, the lower tip, friendliness was far away. Not professional at all.
L'Usine de Spaghetti is about incredible food, scenic spot, & top-notch service. If you're in Montreal, this is a must-visit spot!
We started with a pitcher of sangria & it was easily the best sangria in town! Fresh, bursting with amazing flavors, & perfectly balanced with a mix of fruits, it was smooth & refreshing. The alcohol was subtle, making it the perfect drink to complement our meal.
The shrimp alfredo was an absolute standout. The creamy sauce was rich, velvety, & packed with flavor, coating every bite of the al dente pasta. But the real highlight? The giant, chunky shrimp-perfectly marinated & cooked to perfection. Every bite was indulgent & satisfying.
The olive sauce pasta & lamb shank were equally impressive. The lamb was so tender it was literally falling off the bone, bursting with rich, savory flavors. The alioli sauce on the pasta was light & delicious, complementing the dish beautifully.
We ended our meal with the best tiramisu in Montreal -**juicy, moist, & perfectly thick layers of rich coffee-infused cream, delicately balanced with thin, airy cake.** It was the perfect way to finish an unforgettable meal. Thank you L'Usine de Spaghetti! Amazing!
The food is unfortunatelly overrated-far from authentic, high-quality Italian cuisine. We tried their $30 special (pasta with burrata), & it had no flavor. The baked pasta with smoked meat was a very amateur & strange combination for me with very basic preparation. The ravioli was okay. The atmosphere was nice, warm. Service was good. Maybe we just werent lucky with the cook that evening.
The salad bar is a nice touch, though somewhat limited. The bread quality wasn't great, with the onion bun being the only standout. As for the pasta, both the pesto & ragu were comforting & filling. Overall, a nice spot near Bonsecours Market in Old Montreal.
Some excellent pasta to enjoy near Old Port in montreal. I had grabbed their lobster pasta & was very satisfied with my choice. Decadent & buttery it was quite scrumptious. The service & atmosphere are also both excellent as well. Would reccomend.
The food was great.
Our second time here decided to try different dishes. I usually have the same thing when I find a dish i like. I tried a different dish, & it was delicious. But had to have the mushrooms garlic & herbs, it's our favorite. Great atmosphere & relaxed feel.
If you are in old Montreal & craving for pasta. I recommend this place.
Pasta dishes were good & the portions were healthy & generous. I had the lamb chops that were seasoned perfectly with a touch of sweetness. The pesto pasta that accompanied it was VERY garlicky so be forewarned. My husband had the special pasta of the evening which was a sausage & rapini orecchiette & my mother in law & daughter shared spaghetti with 2 generous sized meatballs that they bot enjoyed. Was also a really great atmosphere.
Right in the heart of Old Montreal, next to Place Jacques Cartier. Food was very good & reasonably priced. Service is quick & friendly. Lots of choices for pasta dishes & includes an AYCE salad bar. I've been back a few times now & the food is consistently good. No reservations possible.
Absolutely delicious! It's probably the best pasta in Montreal!! Highly recommend!
We came in for pasta (which was amazing) & were excited to find that this is where Dickens wrote A Tale Of Two Cities! The inside & outside were decorated for the holidays l, creating a cozy but festive vibe. The mushroom soup was THE BEST!
Omg this was so delicious for such a good price, go if you're around the old port & want delicious pasta
The place is called wonderful, the pasta was awesome, the meat was exactly in its point, & the desserts are superb! The staff was very nice. Definitely is a must if you like pasta & you're in Montreal!
Cozy vibes & yummy pasta. Love that they have an all you can eat open salad bar! I'm not crazy about escargot, but if you wanna try it, definitely add the cheese.
Amazing place. Loved the history behind it. Food was amazing was not too heavy as some pasta are. Wonderful & sweet waitress.
Food was great. We had 3 different pasta dishes. All three were delicious. Tiramisu & Mousse au chocolat were fantastic. Service is great. Will be back
The perfect place for a nice dinner with a friend or a date. The pasta was good but the lamb chops were some of the best I've ever had. I savored every bite until my plate was clean. The atmosphere was slightly intimate but not overly romantic. The prices were somewhat high but after eating the food I understood why. It's that good. If you ever want some good pasta this should be the top of your list.
