Lovely atmosphere, friendly & fast service, & good food. Waited ~ half an hour for a table & it was well worth it! The salad bar & unlimited bread w/ garlic butter was what sold it for us 😅 we got four different pastas & they were all delicious. Cocktails are a bit pricey but otherwise the menu is affordable! Would absolutely recommend!

We ate good pasta, it even came with a self-serve salad bar. A good restaurant to try in the Old Port if you are visiting Montréal! The duck in my pasta was delicious
La nourriture & les prix sont excellent! J'ai quoté plus bas au niveau service puisque je trouvais que le bar a salade était moins impressionant & le pain était servis froid avec du beurre froid aussi. Ceci n'est qu'un minime détail & je crois que la place vaut vraiment le détour malgré!
Nice rustic atmosphere. On-the-house salad bar & the variety bread basket with garlic butter is a sumptuous addition to their delicious entrees we tried the ravioli, penne, tortellini for lunch & they even custom made a sauted vegable entree for someone who was a vegetarian.
Do not forget to order their desserts - the chocolate cake was a bliss!
A delightful experience all around! We came in looking for reasonably priced pasta, & were surprised with an all-you-can-eat salad bar included with the main. 100% worth the price for what was included. The portions were generous & the water crisp.

My favorite place in the Old Port! It's affordable & the food is just amazing. I love everything in their menu, they have a good variety of flavors for everyone. Pasta lovers, you will be served. However, you can to come either early or late, if not you will wait in line for a long time. It is worth it? I would say, definitely! They also have unlimited salad bar, which is amazing if you need your veggies doses haha! I totally recommend!
The salad bar is a nice touch, though somewhat limited. The bread quality wasn't great, with the onion bun being the only standout. As for the pasta, both the pesto & ragu were comforting & filling. Overall, a nice spot near Bonsecours Market in Old Montreal.
Food was mediocre at best. Bread brought to us was stale & cold. Salad bar was not a draw with all the flu & viruses around. Basically it's just a tourist grade restaurant.

This is an awesome location in Old Montreal! Our waitress was friendly & helpful. The food is solid, & there are several vegetarian options. Bottles of wine are reasonably priced, & the salad bar is a unique feature! The lighting, decor, & music are all thoughtfully designed & create a beautiful setting. Our party of five walked in ~5PM & was seated immediately without a reservation. There was a line on our way out, so larger groups may benefit from making a reservation.
The lobster linguini & lamb chops spaghetti are worth trying! The lamb chops are tender, though its spaghetti is just okay. They also offer a free salad bar, & the complimentary bread comes in two types, a classic baguette & a flavorful onion-garlic option, both are good. However, the restaurant is too popular & often crowded, so the service can be a bit slow.
Right in the heart of Old Montreal, next to Place Jacques Cartier. Food was very good & reasonably priced. Service is quick & friendly. Lots of choices for pasta dishes & includes an AYCE salad bar. I've been back a few times now & the food is consistently good. No reservations possible.

Cozy vibes & yummy pasta. Love that they have an all you can eat open salad bar! I'm not crazy about escargot, but if you wanna try it, definitely add the cheese.
The food was disappointing. Option 15 which was linguini smothered in a cream sauce & undercooked chunks of onions. The chunked onions should not have been noticeable. Really quite gross. I thought it was closed dish to Cabonaro. Nope not even close. The Italian Kaiser rolls were not fresh at least day old. My wife's dish was ok but she eats anything. The best was the kids menu we got my grandson. It was good. All in all very disappointed. The salad bar that can be a meal at 15$ is a joke tomatoes beets, a weird potato salad & kale. Not great. Just kind of a rip off. É
We recently dined at this restaurant , & the food was outstanding. The lamb chops with pesto spaghetti were the absolute highlight of the meal-perfectly cooked & bursting with flavor. Their salad bar was fresh & well-stocked, & the tiramisu was a deliciously creamy treat to end the meal. However, the service could use a bit of improvement. Our starter was forgotten, & we weren't offered fresh Parmesan or pepper, which would have enhanced the experience. Despite these minor issues, the quality of the food makes L'Usine de Spaghetti worth a visit!
Fabulous!!! Best meal in Montreal. Balanced flavors, perfect portions, & the bonus salad bar & bread were 100%. Friendly service & beautiful atmosphere, definitely recommend
place was definitely pretty & nice. food was really good. we got jean talon pasta (cream base, no.20) & chicken parm pasta (tomato base, no.18). please try! also, they dont accept amex. beware if you're sharing the meals, you're not entitled to the salad bar, its an additional $15. we were 3 pax sharing two meals so it would be an additional $15 to cover 3 of us at the salad bar.
