Great restaurant in a nice suburb of Montreal. $1 oysters are not worth it, but their premium oysters are very good. The lobster roll was amazing, & hubby had the steak. The service was great. Place is not easy to find because they only have a fancy L on the outside.
This place is overhyped. At this price point, you have lots of great restaurants in Montreal. The food is not great. I have been there 3 times & have been disappointed the 3 times. Too expensive for the average quality that you get. Service is ok at best. It’s unfortunate because the restaurant decor & vibe is nice & the lobster rolls are amazing. If I do go back I will stick to the lobster rolls.

We all (12 people) enjoyed our experience at Lucille's. The food was excellent & we sampled a variety of different suggestions from the menu (oysters, lobster rolls, steaks, etc.). The service was very good considering the number of people there were in our group. This is an excellent restaurant with great ambiance, service & food.
I heard great things about this restaurant, & decided to come give it a visit during my first visit to Montreal.
We got seated right away, because we had reservations, however we did end up waiting for awhile to get our order taken, but staff were very friendly & welcoming.
We both ordered half a dozen of the premium oysters & their dollar oyster special. Oysters were sweet & tasted amazing!
We also ordered the lobster roll, fish & chips, & for dessert the chocolate mousse.
First time eating a lobster roll, & I was very impressed & pleased with how it came. The bread was buttery & soft, a good portion of lobster & the mayo just tied it all together beautifully.
Fish & chips were decent, but personally I found that there was too much batter, that I got tired of eating half way through one piece. Fries were mediocre. I wouldn't recommend it.
For dessert we had the chocolate mousse which tasted amazing & was the perfect dessert to end the meal.
The atmosphere & vibe is dark & busy, but it was an amazing experience & I would definitely come back for their lobster roll!
Lucille's Oyster Dive in Montreal is a standout dining experience. The lobster rolls are a must-try, showcasing the true taste of lobster without drowning in mayo. Their oysters are equally impressive. The cauliflower & burrata with truffle sauce offer a delightful twist, & the tuna tartare exceeded expectations. Lucille's Oyster Dive is a spot where every dish speaks to their commitment to quality & flavor.
Service rapide & courtois.
Service was excellent. We enjoyed being on the terrasse as the weather was nice. Very good mussels, lobster rolls, octopus & sweet potato fries. Oysters were very small, however.
not what it used to be...it's good but not what it used to be. Not having $1 oysters should not happen. It is the cornerstone of the publicity. The lobster rolls were lacking lobster. Service was not what it used to be...i guess the regulars all moved to Tremblant or other locations. Very unfortunate, i really liked going there with the family.
Great atmosphere, perfect for a Saturday night. We arrived on time but the table assigned to us wasn't ready. The guests were there for over 2hrs. Rather than wait, we requested another table but were told it was reserved for a party of 9. We were seated & served. Really nice waiter. The chowder soups arrived very cold. Np, they were sent back & brought in due time piping hot & delicious - although too many potatoes & not enough clams. The Ceasar salad, lobster rolls, fish tacos & ribs were fantastic! Great choices. Towards the end of our evening, it appeared the party of 9 cancelled which made it possible to seat so many ppl waiting to be seated possible. I wonder if they had reservations or it they just took their chance - but it worked out.
Great service to start. The food is normally super. I found the salmon tartare rather tasteless & the lobster roll was not as good as it used to be. Would have liked my water glass refilled & asked if I wanted another drink or wine.
However, I always recommend this place as it is still reliably good.
This is a small restaurant with tables placed very closely together. During our visit the service was friendly but very slow & casual. We started with run-of-the-mill Oyster Shooters ($7 ea.), acceptable King Crab Legs for 2($32), a very good (but extremely slow to be served) Raw Platter for 2(ca. $36) which consisted of an assortment of Oysters & Clams on the half shell accompanied by a variety of delicious sauces. We then both had a house specialty: Surf & Turf Plates ($28 ea.)which consist of a very basic lobster roll with a fair amount of quite bland lobster, unremarkable baby back ribs & fairly good fries. My entrees did not please me but I'll return to this restaurant for the Raw Bar & to try a bowl of the steamed clams that I saw being served while we were there :).
