What is happening to our favourite local spot? Why all the new staff who have no idea what Lucille's is. We miss the regular friendly staff. This is our 3rd time in recent where the service is horrible. The bartenders use to make the best drinks now they have no idea what they are doing? Would love to know why the sudden change. Not happy that we need to find a new spot for neighbourhood dinners.
Went last night for our anniversary & it did not disappoint at all! They offered us a dozen dollar oysters on the house as soon as we sat down! They are pretty small but nonetheless delicious. We also tried the premium oysters which were spot on! New York Steak & Half Octopus as our mains, perfection! Drinks were on point all night. Will definitely be going back. Thank you to the whole team at Lucille's Monkland

We were in Montreal for a conference & went to Lucille's because we had heard good things about it. I had the steak frites & the steak was cooked to perfection (med-rare) & had very good flavor. Fries were seasoned nicely. Our server, Sarah, was very friendly & made the night better! Drinks were also very good!
Great experience. Food looked, smelled, & tasted delicious. Nice atmosphere with attentive service. Drinks were also very tasty. Highly recommend you give them a try.
Cheers

The new Lucille's location avenue Canadienne across from the Bell Center is worth the visit. From the minute you walk in you're greeted by a laid but cozy yet upscale restaurant at the same time. The food is delicious from apps to mains the flavour is always perfection. Speaking of the staff-service here is impeccable. The waitstaff is attentive without being intrusive, offering great recommendations & ensuring the dining experience is flawless from start to finish. & finally to top it all off, their cocktails never disappoint with an extensive bar you'll find the perfect drink to complement your meal. Yum can't wait to go back!
Not what used to be! Very slow service, you can tell the waitresses have no experience & clue what they're doing . The hostess was non stop on the computer with our waitress. Waited 1 hour to get our meals . Had it to ask twice for our drinks . The calamari was good but come on 10 little pieces for 19$ ?! I ordered the fillet mignon medium well & it was overcooked, dried out! Same thing with the lobster . At least the dessert was good.
Apps were good. We had the crab cakes & Steak Tartare. Steak was over seasoned with so much sugar. The Caesar salad had barely any dressing on it & the lettuce was dry, the pickles were a weird component. Service wasn't great, we sat waiting to order our mains & order another drink well after we finished our appetizers. The busboy team was great & efficient.
FOOD: First time here & curious about the 1$ oyster special, I had to try it out. While I don't particularly consider myself an oyster expert, these were extremely small for the price & nearly no meat in each oyster. The presentation, & arrangement was great & the timing of the food provided was quite quick , I was a bit underwhelmed with the result. WINE: The wine selection was fairly limited & their entry level wines were a bit overpriced (starting at 70$) for a pretty standard bottle which was a twist cap & not corked. The server was very attentive but made us feel a bit rushed with our drink having them top up our wine glasses before we've even finished or want a refill on our own pace of drinking. While she meant well, my partner & I didn't like our glasses always filled every 5 min when we're trying to talk. Overall, a decent experience but the oysters alone nor the drinks aren't enough of a pull for me to come back with all things considered.

Out of hand. Fantastic time. Oyster were great. Service was top notch. One of the best place we visited while in Montreal. Drinks were good not pricey.
Good seafood, ambiance, service. Food is nicely presented & drinks are made to liking. I knly wish they had a wider wine selection. Very friendly staff at the bar, great & efficient service. Make sure to get a reservation first, very busy, even on week nights.
Oysters were wonderfully fresh, but the Salmon tartare left my tummy turning.
Unable to order the drink I wanted, & when asked for time to decide on dessert, our waitress never returned. Disappointing experience.
Excellent service, excellent food, excellent drinks - it does not get a better. Great service at the bar. Free parking after 6pm. An in-place but for all ages.
Tuesday, May 30th reservation 7pm: I've been a patron at Lucille's both on Monkland as well as on Catherine in Wsmt (at that time). My parties & I have been very pleased with the service, food & vibe. For the first time, our experience was disastrous & so disappointing! I am fully aware there are no reservations for the patio (as is in many institutions). That being said, we arrived at 6:50pm & asked the hostess (Megan) what the wait time would be for the patio. She said 2 tables were leaving & it would be between 15-30min. She offered to seat us "temporarily" until the tables become available. No problem. We ordered drinks with a lovely server (another Megan). Within approx 25 min. a table became available - we approached Megan (the hostess) who said "it won't be long". To that, another table became available. These were 2 TABLES FOR 2 SIDE BY SIDE. 30 minutes pass when 1 COUPLE arrives & was given 1 of the 2 tables. 5 minutes later, another couple were given the table RIGHT NEXT TO THEM. These 2 couples arrived from outside. NOT from having waited inside. CLEARLY, the couples knew each other bcz they were talking together the entire time. They were clearly given 2 TABLES SIDE BY SIDE FOR 4 PERSONS. Again, we approached Megan who said: "they had reservations & you're next!!!" What!!! We reminded her that there are no reservations for the patio & we were next in line. She didn't answer. I told her that was NOT COOL & asked how much time for the next table to which she replied twice. "I don't know"!!! We ordered food with Megan (our server) so that we wouldn't have to wait too long once we'd get transferred to the patio. At this time, it was 7:40. We asked a male server (name not given) working at the patio section to plz get the manager. Olivia wasn't in. He said he would do his best to help us out. He did! The service with him on the patio was pleasant but we have to say that Megan (the hostess) was COMPLETELY OUT OF LINE, ENTIRELY UNPROFESSIONAL, VERY SMURKY, & OUT RIGHT DISMISSIVE WHEN ASKED KNIDLY BY US (twice) WHAT WAS HAPPENING. This put a real damper on our evening which preoccupied our night since we couldn't truly be relaxed at our "temporary table" while waiting for the patio. What a pity! Really!! I'm truly unsure if Megan can hold her job respectfully. Clearly, she lacks experience but more importantly, insight. The food, service & atmosphere otherwise remain excellent.
