We had a fairly large group (25, I think) & Lucille's was kind enough to accommodate us on very short notice.
The venue itself is gorgeous, with seafood & steak vibes & a smart layout (great traffic flow).
Our server was very friendly & methodical & did a great job with keeping things moving for our table (some of our folks had to make a flight).
The food was delicious (the lobster roll & ribs were what I ordered - & boy were they tasty). Everyone else seemed to be pleased with their meal as well.
The price point is spot-on given the quality of the food.
Whether you're shopping in the mall & need a break tof a meal, or just stopping in from elsewhere else - Lucille's is a great place to eat!View more

It's been quite some time since I have eaten at one of the Lucille's restaurants & it was my first visit to this location.
The decor is modern & the atmosphere is inviting. When entering the premises you are greeted by huge slabs of beef.
Our reservation was for 7 pm on a Friday. It was not very busy, yet the hostess tried to seat us at the worst table near the toilet. Ya, not happening.
Once we got to another place to sit, we ordered IPAs & dinner.
I had the Surf & Turf that consisted of a lobster roll, ribs, & fries. My husband had the Steak & fries. Mine was delicious & a nice size portion but my husband's, even though it was very tasty was a small portion. He walked away hungry.
My order of ribs was tender & fell off the bone but not very meaty. The sauce was tangy & ever so sweet. The bun of the lobster roll was lightly buttered & not overloaded with lobster. Too bad. I was expecting more. I know the prices of food have gone up but charge another $5 & serve a bigger roll.
Service was very friendly, efficient, & quick.
Will I go back? Probably. The food was good.View more

Such a great dinner experience! To start, the $1 oysters are a must! Super fresh & absolutely worth it.
We followed up with two appetizers: the burrata in a creamy truffle aioli & the beef tartare. Both were beautifully presented & delicious.
For mains, we had the lobster rolls & the steak frites with chimichurri. The lobster rolls were delicious as always, served on a soft, buttery brioche bun. The steak was cooked perfectly, & the chimichurri brought everything together with the perfect finishing touch.
The service was fantastic! friendly, attentive, & quick. Overall, a great atmosphere & a menu that doesn't disappoint. Highly recommend & will definitely be back!View more

I love Lucille's in general, I usually get they lobster rolls from a stand they have at Atwater market during the summer. This time, I went & sat down at a table after a day of shopping at the fairview mall center. So convenient as it's a the same place. We had oysters, fried calamari, the steak & fries & the chicken because we wanted to try their different types of dishes. All of it was delicious honestly. The drinks were quite nice as wellView more

Another wonderful evening at Lucille's! Reservation for 7 on a busy Saturday, but the manager was able to find us a better table after he saw my less-than-enthused face (original table was right beside the bathroom). For the rest of the evening, the service was impeccable, well above average, & the food & drinks were on-point & delicious. 4 of us ordered filet mignon, all with different cooks, & they all came out perfect. The menu has changed slightly since our last visit (no clam chowder & no lobster tails to add to a steak) but we found some great alternatives like the Thai scallops. At no time did we lack for anything, as service was anticipatory & so very friendly. All in all, a fabulous experience!
NOTE: the only thing I would point out as a minor negative is that they did not have any gluten-free bread, which would have been perfect for the celiac-sufferer in our group.View more

I went there to celebrate my fiancées birthday. We were greeted upon arrival & the staff wished us a happy birthday, but that was it. When we were seated, we were seated in an awkward corner between two tables which made it difficult to get to our seats. We ordered the Surf & Turf ($180, with the lobster & the porterhouse steak). The steak was good & cooked to perfection, however the lobster tail was not fully cooked & it seemed like it was a few days old. Needless to say, we both got food poisoning from the lobster tail. The service was okay, but to be honest with you, it could've been better. When I asked for the bill, the waitress asked if we wanted dessert, which I replied no. We were not given like a birthday dessert or anything. However they had to problem taking $300 from us for sub par service & food that was not worth the cost. I'd go back here if I want to get a hamburger but not for steak or lobster. I'll spend my hard earned money elsewhere.View more

First time at Lucille's for my mother in laws 89th Birthday. The service was outstanding. Ali was super attentive always smiling & quick bringing our meals. The food was OK, the bavette for the steak/ frites could have been tastier, the "jus"was overly salty. The surf & turf is not your traditional piece of steak with a lobster tail. (There is a steak & lobster tail as a separate option) It was a lobster roll & a whole rack of ribs. The lobster roll bun was nicely toasted with good size pieces of lobster..it was missing a bit of flavor. The ribs were tender & juicy & slathered with a sweet/ slightly spicey sauce. The cedar plank maple salmon was perfectly prepared with a nice hint of maple flavor, so I'm told as my mother in law wouldn't share...lol After all it was her birthday diner celebration. We were so full we didn't order dessert, but Ali heard us talking & brought my M.I.L. a piece of cake with a candle. It was so light an delicious!. A++++ for serviceView more

Horrible service & mediocre food. Ordered several dishes to share for the table. The first dish arrived, calamari which was actually delicious, but tiny, then we waited over 45 minutes for anything else to show up while we watched every other table around us get their food. Our waiter passed by our table table several times & never once acknowledged that we were sitting with an empty table. Then at the end it took another 30 minutes to get our bill. The lobster rolls, once they finally showed up were quite good, albeit way overpriced, the crab cakes & salmon tartare however were unappealing, no one in my party cared for them. The cheeseburgers were just ok, would not repeat, lacked seasoning. I've been to Lucille's many times on Monkland, this visit to Fairview was a huge disappointment, & way overpriced for what you get, both in quality & portion size. Stick to the steaks or ribs & you'll be fine.View more

I took out an order for over $180. I ordered the grilled lobster tails which came with a green salad. The menu stated that mine was supposed to come with garlic butter, but there was none in my order. The lobster tails tasted like they dumped a whole salt shaker on them. The salad was the kind that you get in a large container in the grocery store. There was absolutely nothing in the salad except leaves, & the tips of some lettuce pieces were brown & rotting. I just feel that for the amount of money that they charge, they should at least put in a little effort & put some other vegetables in the salad & make sure that it's fresh, & include garlic butter when it's mentioned in the menu. They don't even give you a side potato or anything. I had to cook my own side dish at home after spending all that. It's just a complete rip off in my opinion. People just go there because the name is catchy & they think that it's somehow "trendy". To me, the way that they present themselves is to grab the money, & provide you with the bare minimum. They don't do anything to show that the food is special, or was made with effort, it's just a cash grab. The calamari is better at the Keg. The lobster roll filling was hot packed in with the buns separate. Lobster roll filling is supposed to cold, not hot. The ribs in the surf n turf were nothing special, you can get much better ribs at Baton Rouge. This is the second time that I have dined at Lucille's, & both locations were forgettable, definitely not memorable. I remember when things are good, or outstanding, & this was not it.View more

We had a great experience at Lucille's. The food was high quality, the service was excellent & the atmosphere great as well. The oysters & hot crab dip were delicious. The steak & seafood for the most part was excellent. Out of the 4 meals, the only disappointing thing was the lobster roll (lobster was excellently cooked, but the roll lacked flavour). The Lucille's bloody Caesar's, which we've had before & we're delicious, were just not up to the same quality last night (watery). Overall a good experience.View more

We were really disappointed in our experience this time. We reserved to partake in the lobster festival festival. When we arrived on Friday 6 pm per our reservation for 7, we were told there were 14 left. Only to be told 10 minutes later , there were no more. There was so much staff on the floor , but most of them seemed lost & walking around aimlessly. Bucket brought to the table to keep our wine cold, but no ice in it. Some of the food was cold, french fries etc. Coffee at end of meal was also cold. Salad had no dressing on it I was really disappointed. this was my first outing in months as I was housebound due to a broken ankle. When we went earlier this year, our experience was excellent. Unfortunately they were out of the grilled lobster special which was the reason we went there so to mitigate our disappointment the manager very graciously offered us coffee & a dessert of our choice which we thought was a very nice gesture, , we had been offered this once at the Four Seasons hotel under the same circumstances & never forgot it . we ordered the lobster rolls which were really good & had a lot of meat - which as any lobster fan knows is the key to success!! the fries were perfect as was the dipping sauce! But my son ordered the salmon which he didn't love & was quite small for the money. Our server was lovely & i liked being seated at the front of the resto (instead of the back) because it isn't as loud. Would definitely go back.View more

I recently enjoyed the surf & turf at Lucille's in Fairview Pointe-Claire, & it was a fantastic dining experience! The lobster roll was packed with fresh, succulent lobster, & the ribs were tender, falling right off the bone with a rich, smoky flavor. The combination of seafood & barbecue was divine, showcasing the kitchen's ability to balance complex flavors. The service was impeccable-attentive & efficient, making the dining experience smooth & enjoyable. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, making it a great place for a casual lunch or a special dinner. Disappointed with my meal last night. Lobster roll was alright, lacking of flavor. The hot dog bun they used was soaked in butter but not kna. Good way. The ribs are dry I was very disappointed. The BBW sauce.used was good but was tough to eat. The Oysters were alright, what could you expect from a 1$ Oyster but I had never seen such small oysters before. The tartare was good but I found both the beef tartare & the tuna tartare piece too chunky.View more

The food was great. Had the lobster rolls & my partner had the steak frites with shrimp. The service was a little slow at first but we went on a Saturday night...I guess to be expected. The wait staff was very helpful & attentive. We had the 1$ oysters which were also good. The "by the glass" selection for the wine is quite limited, so we opted for a bottle. Now for the price: I think the lobster rolls were a little overpriced however the steak frites was decently priced. The steak was cooked to perfection! I was overall impressed with the quality of the food. Surpassed my expectations. I would definitely go again.View more

So glad I finally tried this place!! Our reservation was at 10pm so we did have to eat fast. Me & my friends all started off with the crispy calamari. We absolutely loved it. For our mains, I got the smoked baby back ribs with an addition of grilled shrimp. I loved how saucy & juicy the ribs were. I do wish the shrimps had less of a burnt taste & more of a grilled taste though. Still amazing. My friend got the Steak-Frites cooked medium & it was delicious! My other friend got the seafood linguini pasta with an addition of lobster tail. She said without that addition, the pasta wouldn't have been as good. She said the sauce was also very spicy. But nevertheless, she still really enjoyed it.View more

I had the lobster rolls. Delicious!!!! At first I thought that it was pricey, but the portions are quite large. Way too many fries though. The waiter was friendly & quick to offer drinks, but he didn't check on the non- alcohol drinkers very often. I must say I've had mixed experiences at this restaurant. When they opened all the dishes from starters to mains were great. This last trip which was a Monday eve was quite lack luster in the food département aside from the raw bar. The oysters were fresh & really great. We had the 1$ & the premium. Spot on as always. The calamari rings were weirdly very large, no little squiggles & tasted very processed. The waiter stated they changed suppliers but couldn't comment or wouldn't comment on the quality. In the past they were very enjoyable & fresh to eat. We also ordered lobster tails which were stuck int the shells half way & overcooked. When mentioning all of this no effort or discount was made. In the past we've ordered all this before to be spot on & delicious. Sad to see the decline & maybe Monday night is not the time to go but for the price the meals should be consistent no matter what day or time you go.View more

Not the first time here. Went for an early dinner with friends. Place was maybe 5% full to the 1 main area. (3 seating areas available). $1 Oysters (small) are still a good deal. Oder 100 if you need to, it's still a better deal than $3 oysters. Had the lobsters which came with very basic greens. Lobsters looked like 5oz which are 2/$10 or $15 depending on timing. Smaller than expected for $44 but delicious. Best deal seems to be the Surf & Turf where you get a full rack of ribs (dozen bones), a lobster roll & fries for $38(?). Ribs have the flavour of Baton Rouge. The real disappointer was the calamari coming in at about 9 pieces for $19. Compared to Keg, Baton rouge or Scarollies, you get x2 x2.5 volume for the same price else where. I would order something else. Service was fine starting off because of the empty room, but later that night it took about 15 minutes+ to get a bottle of wine delivered to the table which is the easiest minimum $50 order you can sell. Water replenished & served as needed, no issues with wait staff keeping an eye on your table.View more
