I recently visited this restaurant & had a mixed experience. For appetizers, I ordered the burrata & fried chicken, followed by the Wood Oven Chicken for my main & tiramisu for dessert.
The food itself was very flavorful & delicious. The fried chicken & tiramisu were standout dishes - both were incredibly tasty & memorable. However, I was disappointed with the portion size of the Wood Oven Chicken. For a main dish, it only came with six small pieces, which felt underwhelming - especially since the fried chicken appetizer was actually larger than the main.
It's worth noting that this is more of a seafood restaurant, & I didn't order any seafood, so other guests' experiences may differ. That said, even if you're not a seafood eater, there are still good options available.
Service was a bit disappointing. Our server seemed rushed & annoyed, didn't explain much, & appeared more focused on getting our orders in quickly rather than creating a welcoming experience.
On the positive side, the restaurant had a cozy, casual, & lively atmosphere, & it was very clean with some unique decor elements that added charm. Despite being busy, our orders were accurate & arrived in a reasonable time.
In terms of value, I felt the experience could have been better - especially given the rushed service. While it's more of a higher-end spot, the prices weren't outrageous.
A plus was the easy parking since it's located in a mall, & our reservation ensured there was no wait.
Overall, I'd recommend this place for the food, especially the fried chicken & tiramisu, but I'd suggest going in with tempered expectations for portion sizes & service. If you enjoy seafood, your experience may be even better.View more
Excellent souper.
View more
Brought friends as I had raved about the place & thank goodness it did not disappoint The lamb chops (why they don't call it rack of lamb is a mystery as it is rack of lamb from the look of things) were perfect as always. Our only gripe was that the dessert recommended by our (excellent) waiter did not live up to the billing. The "hot" pecan with ice cream was ho hum (pecan pie/brownie had a hint of Costco & was cold) but all in all our meal was great value & great fun. Highly recommendedView more
We had a great time. We were seated in a super comfortable corner table & started with Oysters. Great to see a $1/oyster option. The food came quickly & was super yummy. There was enough food that we didn't order dessert but next time we will!View more
I went there to celebrate my fiancées birthday. We were greeted upon arrival & the staff wished us a happy birthday, but that was it. When we were seated, we were seated in an awkward corner between two tables which made it difficult to get to our seats. We ordered the Surf & Turf ($180, with the lobster & the porterhouse steak). The steak was good & cooked to perfection, however the lobster tail was not fully cooked & it seemed like it was a few days old. Needless to say, we both got food poisoning from the lobster tail. The service was okay, but to be honest with you, it could've been better. When I asked for the bill, the waitress asked if we wanted dessert, which I replied no. We were not given like a birthday dessert or anything. However they had to problem taking $300 from us for sub par service & food that was not worth the cost. I'd go back here if I want to get a hamburger but not for steak or lobster. I'll spend my hard earned money elsewhere.View more

We were a group of 10 for dinner celebrating my wife's birthday. Service was great. My wife & I shared the porterhouse, it was just warm enough to eat. My parents shared the chateaubriand & it was room temperature at best. My sister ordered the tartare as a meal, portion served was the entree, they forgot the crusty bread. The management offered to refire the chateaubriand, & comp'ed us desserts for the table. Having been to this restaurant many times before, I have noticed a steady decline in quality & attention to detail. Overall experience was okay, not what you'd expect from Lucille's.View more
We sat at the bar (as we usually do). The barmaid took good care of us. However as soon as I finished my meal, they scooped in to remove my plate, & I was still chewing my last bite & my wife had not even finished yet. The dining experience was soured at that point. They should leave us alone for at least 5-10 minutes once we have finished our meal so that we could digest & consider dessert. The impression was they wanted top rush us out so they could go home (as there wasn't a lineup behind us). The food was average bar food & yet quite pricey. The ribs were lathered in BBQ sauce rendering the meant super sweet. We asked if we could order a side of Cole slaw & they said NO. It was only accompanied with a different meal & the manager said he needed to keep what he had in case it was ordered with the other meal. Seriously?View more
Great food , service & ambiance. A huge bonus is that they make very good cocktails. I really recommend their margarita. I had the rib steak & my wife had the filet. Both were amazing. I don't usually like the taste of filet mignon but I tried my wife's & it was as if I was in Texas. Simply melts in your mouth. The side vegetables are also very good. They grill fennel. How cool is that? Dessert was great . People around me were fun / friendly. Totally the vibe I am looking for. Shout out to our waiter was Nick who gave us top notch service! They gave us new cutlery & napkins after the appetizer. Very nice touch. Our water kept being filled. I see come reviews saying that it's pricey. I find it very comparable to other restaurants that don't out the same superb quality. Honestly, very impressed but I like quality & am not opposed to paying a high bill if it's worth it. . I can't wait to go backView more
Unfortunately they were out of the grilled lobster special which was the reason we went there so to mitigate our disappointment the manager very graciously offered us coffee & a dessert of our choice which we thought was a very nice gesture, , we had been offered this once at the Four Seasons hotel under the same circumstances & never forgot it . Thank you.View more
Everything on their menu is good. Our steak was extremely overcooked & we told the waitress but she apologized & did not offer anything( not even desserts or a replacement). Otherwise 5 star.View more
It's like our friends were saying. "It's good... but way too pricey". It was our first time here & it was good. But the bill is way too high for what you get. The atmosphere is okay. More of an open concept place than an intimate dining place. The service is excellent. Everyone is very attentive. Cleaning your table. Replacing used napkins & topping off drinks or water. Would we go back- to be honest no unless it was someone's choice to go there. My husband really liked his seafood pasta dish. My steak was fine. I didn't prefer the sauce on the shrimp. I had the steak & prawns. My husband the seafood linguine. For starters we got the southern hot crab dip & $1 oysters. & for dessert the dark chocolate caramel dome.View more
Everything was great, though we were celebrating my husband's birthday & I was disappointed that they do not provide a birthday dessert of any sort for birthdays, even a small dessert would have been appreciated.
Very slow service. Drink order taken after 20 minutes. Another 15 for food order. Mains came before appetizers but our server was gracious & made up for it by offer Complementary drinks & desserts on the house. All in all a good night & decent food. Great ambiance for the West Island!
Seated at the bar we had hoped for faster drink service but for some reason waited 40 minutes for our first drink. The apps arrived before our drinks.
Our drink orders were forgotten many times, as well as our dessert order.
To be honest, I dine at Lucille's often & this experience wasn't the best. We felt extremely rushed. The waitress did not offer us coffee or even a look at the dessert menu. She brought our bills & said "ok ladies we need this table in 5 minutes, here are your bills" & she stood there with her interac machine & stared at us until we paid & left. I was surprised & disappointed. I would have had a coffee & we had planned on having dessert. We unfortunately left & went to spend our money on a coffee & dessert somewhere else. Generally the service at Lucille's has always been great, too bad this time left a bad taste & I'll reconsider going back.
Ambiance: too much noise, tables too close, & uncomfortable chairs (we ended up at the bar). Service: the busboy didn't know the wifi password & he didn't bother finding it. It was as simple as asking a waiter. Our waiter took too long to get our order & later she left us hanging with the dessert menu so we got tired of waiting & we asked another waiter to take our dessert order. We were not in a rush & many clients had left by that time. More than 20 minutes to take an order for two desserts is quite long... On the other hand, the food was good & the tall waiter at bar (moustache & beard) was super nice!
218.83$ for 3 people, 1 glass of wine, 3 beers & food, coffee & dessert.
We were a party of for 6pm , Fri Dec 01. The confirmation indicated we would have 2.5 hrs, bit at 1hr 50 min, we were informed the table was booked for 8pm, & that we had to leave. The server was pleasant, & we understood the restaurants desire to turn the table, however we were rushed to leave. No time for dessert or an after dinner coffee.
We went for date night, made a reservation in advance, & yet still we were seated in the back of the restaurant near the restrooms. Our table was squeezed between two different parties, with barely enough room between tables to move to & from. Waiter's bottoms bumping into the edge of our table. We were practically seated on top of each other. In fact, in the middle of our meal, the waitstaff had to ask us to move our table in order to accommodate a new table being seated next to us to allow enough room for them to sit down. The tables were so close, half way through our meal, the table next to us started chatting with us.
Additionally, our waiter was very distracted, taking away our menus before we had ordered anything but drinks. If we hadn't already decided what we had wanted in advance, we would have had to request the menus again. We received our appetizers promptly, then proceeded to wait for what felt like ages for our entrees. We had to ask for dessert menus, & the bill, & to flag our waiter in order to pay. It was a disappointing experience given it was supposed to be a lovely meal, & despite having a reservation. I don't know why we were seated at one of the restaurant's worst tables when we had a reservation.
More than disappointing.
The music is brutally loud. We even asked if they could turn it down a bit & we were ignored. You cannot have a conversation at all. The girl convinced us to sit at the high tables in the bar, we are not 20 year olds headed for to bar, we went for a nice evening. We didn't bother to have a second round of drinks & skipped dessert & coffee. Just an expensive rushed dinner. Very very disappointing
We were a table of 12 so having 1 server is not really sufficient as some of us were waiting too long in between trips. Extremely taken aback by the fact that it was a big birthday & not only was a tiny non impressive dessert given. We were charged for it. The tables bill was quite large therefore charging for 1 lousy dessert was pretty ridiculous. Can't say I'd return .
The food was tasty but the overall experience was not. I generously gave 3 stars because 1/2 was not an option. It would be 2.5 ⭐️
Quantity & quality of food (lobster rolls) has decreased yet prices substantially increased, drink & food order were delayed due to mix ups, dessert (pecan pie) overpriced & unedible (where was the filling?). Waitress tried to helpful as possible.
Je donne 5 sur 5 pour les repas principaux. Le dessert était passable uniquement. Le service excellent.
Theo our server was very good
My Kansas steak was ordered mid rare closer to rare however the first I received was closer to mid well, the replacement was better but still missed the mark, my wife's lobster rolls had already been sitting for a while so I decided to accept it, it was delicious however work needs to be done to meet the cook request.
Nick the manager came over & apologized, perhaps an offer of an appetizer or dessert on the house could have been offered?
Overall we enjoyed our experience & will return.
The food is always amazing! The reason I gave lower stars for the overall experience is because when we received the food the sauce for the fish & chips was spilt on our friends shirt & jeans. The server quickly apologized & said our bill would be adjusted for such a big mess on their clothing so early in the night. However nothing was actually done. From there I think our server forgot about us because we wanted to order dessert & coffees but after an hour we decided we would just flag him down & pay the bills.
Very limited dessert menu & always the same. Last time we tried the key lime pie & were disappointed, so this time we did not order dessert or coffee after our meal.
