Excellente bouffe! Salade de choux-fleurs, crevettes bang bang, pieuvre grillée, bavette. Miam!
Excellent service avec Nicholas!
We had a steak with sweet potato fries, salmon with same, lobster roll with salad & 2 glasses of wine. No appetizer.
The steak, salmon & fries were delicious. The lobster rolls less so because of the type of bread used. The salad was too salty & the bill came to over 200 dollars.
We decided not to go back in the future.
Ceasar salad was good. The ribs were messy to eat lol. They were good, but not the best I've had. There Lucille's red beer was ok. Service was great.
Was treated here for my milestone birthday this past February. Wow...the staff, the food, the ambiance 100%. My friend wanted to adopt Baptist, our server. So friendly & helpful. Our steak frittes/salad done to perfection. Yes, we shared the sides. We were placed in a section, not too noisy where we could hear ourselves talk, & no one rushed us out. I so appreciated a free chocolate mousse bomb with a candle on top (again we shared). It's not my first time at Lucille's & it certainly wont be my last. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos except for the chocolate bomb.
Good food & great service. My partners NY strip was a bit tough she said. I had a very good clam chowder & a salad. Both were very tasty & well prepared. The only thing I suggest they can improve is the quality of the napkins that are the thin cheap type you get in a casserole croute. This is not a fast food restaurant & so better quality napkins should coincide with the prices they charge, which is on the high end
On a busy Friday night, the restaurant was absolutely booming, & the energy set the stage for a wonderful dining experience. The food did not disappoint. I started with the clam chowder, which was hearty, flavorful, & very satisfying. For my main course, I chose the octopus served over a Greek tomato salad, & it was absolutely delicious. The octopus was tender & generously portioned, perfectly cooked. The salad itself was fresh & vibrant, with high-quality feta cheese & a dressing that was full of flavor.
Dessert was a fresh key lime pie that was light, refreshing, & the perfect ending to the meal. Service throughout the evening was excellent - attentive, friendly, & well-paced despite how busy the restaurant was,
The only downside to an otherwise great evening was the seating. Despite making my reservation well in advance, the table felt crowded & didn't offer enough space to fully relax & enjoy the meal. That said, it was a minor drawback compared to the overall quality of the food & service.
Overall, I left very satisfied & would definitely return. The excellent cuisine & attentive service make this restaurant well worth another visit.

Never disappointed with the service & the grilled octopus salad.!! The ribs were'ok' (as per my husband) but won't be his choice next visit. Same goes for the Parmesan truffle fries (not much difference from the regular fries). The beef tartare was excellent , just found the crostinis a little too dry (difficult to eat when they crumble into small pieces with the first bite). Crab dip - very good. Skip average desserts & go for the Brazilian coffee!
Update Nov 2025: went by myself at lunch before shopping for Christmas.
Had the entrée of roasted cauliflower (very nice. Mix of raw/pickled cauliflower & some roast ones, with salad, capers, tomatoes & parmesan cheese. 9/10).
Waitress (Carla) mentioned to get my main bavette medium instead of medium rare (my usual). Great advice by her. The result was great. 9/10.

Wifey & I went to Lucille's Fairview for lunch time, on the 3rd day after opening.
I had a half-dozen premium oysters. I would give it at 9.5/10 for the quality & taste of these oysters.
We both other steaks: one Kansas cut, one filet mignon. We asked both to be cooked medium-rare. Wifey's filet mignon was spot on, while my Kansas was a solid medium (I am not fussy enough to complain/return it). The taste of both steak were delicious! A tender filet mignon with nice french fries. I had a side of garlic mash. They were nice & creamy, but could have used more garlic to reach the wow factor.
We had two glasses of wine (a red & a white). Note that there is a solid mark-up on some basic bottles. e.g. Oyster Bay sauvignon blanc was 55$, when we buy regularly that wine at the SAQ at 20$.
Even if the place opened recently the lunch service was effective & efficient. The staff was polite & friendly.
We would definitely go again.
Firstly, it was very disappointing that the clam chowder soup wasn't on the menu yet.
I ordered shrimp cocktail & the sauce was way too spicy for me also it was hard to dip them in the tiny sauce dish
I also ordered Filet Mignon steak & it was terrible!!!! Also had fat on it. Wasn't cut like Filrt Mignon. I don't believe it was Filet Mignon personally. It came with either French Fries or House Salad. The salad was just lettuce. No sauce on the steak.
I will not go back there & my husband will not go back either. He had to remind them for his glass of wine which turned out to be the better thing of both our meals
Also he ordered the lobster rolls that came with two little pieces of lobster & the rest was artificial crab meat.
VERY DISAPPOINTING & Pricey!!!!!
We loved most of the foods (grilled cauliflower salad, seafood Linguini, Lobster rolls, Ribs & the steaks). The Calamari is OK & the Burgers' Patty's were little overcooked. The service was very good as well as the relaw atmosphere.
We went for our anniversary dinner. The house salad was terrible. Just a ill displayed bunch of grass in a bowl. My salmon was well seasoned but it was a very small portion. I can't remember anything else. I hope it was a one off. I may or may not visit there again.
Will for 4 person we ordered a huge steak ,2 side cesar salad & mash potato. Lucille not bad but little bit expensive 😅 but it's ok 👌 ☺? we enjoyed the steak & the shrimps ,burritos for appetizers. I like their seafood but steak is enough for that lunch meal. Thank you for the waitresses & waiter, they are nice & served good ,they deserved for a tips.
We enjoy going to Lucille's. We absolutely love their cauliflower salad! We tried the ribs this time & they were excellent. One thing I feel I need to mention, my husband ordered 2x regular Virgin Bloody Caesars & we were flabbergasted when we saw the bill. They charged us $18 the drink! $36 for Clamato juice plus the tax & service. Totalling $47. For 2 glasses of Clamato Juice. We did not appreciate being had like this. It left us with a bitter ending to our dinner.
Meh - not as good as expected. Got the lobster rolls & they were bland. Salad was good.
I went to the restaurant eager to have a tender, juicy steak. It had been a while since I indulged. Let's just say, I'm still looking forward to the tender, juicy steak. Unfortunately, the NY Strip steak was tough despite the fact that I requested medium- rare. It looked more like medium. My fries were bits & pieces, looking more like the left overs from the last fry. We ordered a Caesar salad & requested to have the pickles omitted. Well, the pickles were not omitted. All-in-all, somewhat of a let down. I was so looking forward to this special outing with my wife.
Hello, so i dined at Lucilles Fairview on Feb 15 2025. This was my second time there. The service & ambiance was as amazing as last year, sadly my dish was not.
Last year i had ordered the octopus dish & it was beyond amazing. I was raving about it for a couple of weeks. Yesterday i ordered the same dish & was sadly, wholeheatedly, disappointed. While the octopus was well cooked, the quantity was not the same as last year for about the same price (shrinkflation?), & the underlying Greek salad was not made the same way. Last year there was an almost feta puree included which was a wonderful addition tp the dish, this year they just put a couple of small pieces of feta. Definitely not the same quality dish as last year, & not something i would ever order again at Lucilles if i were to ever go back.
I should also mention we started with the large oysters, & one of the six had a slight off-putting taste, luckily no one got sick.
It's too bad really, they had a winning dish last year which made the dining experience perfect, & well worth the money spent.
Super quick service, oysters are fabulously presented with an exquisite horseradish or wine vinegar échalotte dip. Grilled half octopus salad always insanely perfect. Three fish tartare combo had weird seasoning ideas yet we have conservative tartare habits. Service is top shelf, atmosphere smooth & classy. Great date night.
À essayer, la salade de thon à la niçoise! Tellement délicieuse & goûteuse.
We had an okay experience at the restaurant. The service was good, but the food was underwhelming. Our table ordered oysters, kids' hamburgers, house salads, & fish tacos, but nothing really stood out. The highlight-or rather, the lowlight-of the night was the $34 charge for two small glasses of Chardonnay. We couldn't help but laugh & realize we had never checked the price of a glass of wine before. With so many dining options available, we won't be returning.
i was really hungry when i went there. when ur hungry, "almost" everything is good right? but this one is a no-no. all the food i ordered was salty, even the salad. -_- the 2 stars is for the attentive service & very nice decor but that's it.
