Great experience at Lou's! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is warm & inviting, & the service is always friendly & attentive. It's a great addition to the West Island & a place we genuinely enjoy coming back to.

My husband & I had a terrible experience this evening. We arrived before both couples on either side of us, we ordered our drinks before both couples & were served quite a bit after them. Fries were cold. Food was subpar at best. We were ignored for the most part by the servers. Food was forgotten, we were not charged thankfully for the missing items. Never asked if we would like another drink, or if we wanted anything else.

We will not return & neither will anyone in our social circle.

Beyond disappointed!

The ambience is fine. Cuatomer service is ok but the food…. They can definitely do better!
I live nearby & looking forward to see the improvement so I can invite more friends there!

My son & I arrived around 6:45 PM & were served at 8:00 PM. We started with a very small portion of appetizer, & 40 minutes later, our main courses arrived. I enjoyed my salmon fillet. I also wanted to order a pasta dish with Alfredo sauce or something other than tomato sauce, but unfortunately, there were no other sauces available, & the menu had very limited choices! Overall, very disappointed!

We arrived at Lou at 6:30 PM, ordered our drinks, appetizer, & food. We ended up ordering a second round of drinks before even receiving our appetizer because of how long the service was taking. Our server later told us our food was punched in around 7:00 PM, but we didn't receive it until 8:12 PM. Like a hour & an half wait for the main meal is wild..

When it finally came, the steak was cold & not cooked properly. When we complained about the time, we were told the downstairs space was being rented out, which was apparently causing delays in the kitchen. What bothered us was that nobody communicated this to us beforehand or even acknowledged how long we had been waiting. We had to complain ourselves before anyone addressed it.

We left at 8:40 PM, & although we wanted to try dessert, we were so disappointed that we just wanted to leave. I genuinely didn't want to judge Lou based on the reviews I had read, but unfortunately, our experience reflected many of those same concerns. The lack of service, communication, & attention to detail really put a damper on what was supposed to be a nice date night.

Lou's Pointe-Claire is a great spot with a really nice atmosphere. It's not a very big restaurant, so it can fill up pretty quickly, which says a lot about how popular the place is. I would definitely recommend making a reservation, especially on busier nights.

The food was delicious & everything we tried was full of flavour. The lobster roll was really good, & we also enjoyed sharing a few different dishes at the table.

Service was excellent throughout the evening. The staff were friendly, attentive, & made the whole experience enjoyable.

A great addition to Pointe-Claire & definitely a place we'll be coming back to!

hi i just wanted to share an experience! yesterday i went there linkup some girl (august 11 2026) the last girl thats was workin were very rude untill they saw me countin stacks of money ! they never served me water or nothing! the asian lady told the other server (he has money) & he came back told me the shots went from 4$ to 14$ & on top of that they served me casadores instead of casamigos! the restaurant seems nice but the server that closed the shift yesterday they need to get fired! i dont wish this to no body else
