We were late to our reservation (twice). Yet when we called, Sylvana picked up & made sure to find a way to welcome us after travelling across the province. Despite coming at an inconvenient time, we were welcomed & served delicious food; The buttered bread, the scallops, the sirloin, & genovese pasta were perfect.
The scallops were buttered, lemony, zesty, & breadcrumbs made our mouths dance. We will be coming back for them again. The sirloin was cooked to perfection & the sauce was delicious. The pasta-the pasta-the pasta! The braised short rib & al dente pappardelle realigned our chakras. The broccolini could have used a little more parmesan, but nothing to deter from our experience. Despite being served near closing, the service was fantastic, our waters filled, & Sylvana always checking if we were okay. Finally we were served a cake for my girlfriends birthday for dessert.
What could have ended a long day in a cheap fast food ride back home, ended up being a highly memorable experience where the food & service really mended a long drive back, & filled our stomachs with the birthday cheer we deeply longed for.
In case it was not mentioned, this experience could not have been made possible without Sylvana.
J'ai adoré les plats & l'ambiance! Malheureusement, j'ai été déçue par le service. Pour moi, la qualité du service est très importante & contribue grandement à l'expérience globale.
The previous reviews weren't kidding - their service needs work. We made a reservation & when we arrived, they told us they unfortunately had no more tables left & had to be seated at the bar… it was 5:30, there was plenty of tables & what's the point of reserving if you don't take it into account? Around the bar, there was a fly that kept buzzing around which was quite annoying. Their food is good, except for their beef. Do NOT get their filet mignon, it was horrible. A complete waste of 62$. However, they do well with their appetizers. The brussel sprouts & tuna carpaccio were great. Quite pricy for what it is, nonetheless.
We had a bit of a chaotic situation with our reservation-changing times, cancelling, & then unexpectedly showing up as a party of two hoping for a table. The staff handled everything with incredible grace, patience, & warmth. They made us feel so welcome right away! On top of the exceptional hospitality, the food was absolutely delicious.
?Huge thanks to the team for going above & beyond. We'll definitely be back!
The service was excellent, & the staff were friendly & attentive. The food was delicious, & the atmosphere was stylish & inviting. However, the prices were much higher than what the food justified. It was also extremely loud-we had to practically shout to have a conversation. On top of that, the restaurant was uncomfortably hot, & it really needed better air conditioning. Overall, a nice experience, but the value for money & comfort could be significantly improved.
Service needs a bit of work!!! Waited 3 hours for all the food to come …
We were visiting from out of town & were excited to catch up with friends we hadn't seen in a long time. Since we were chatting & taking a few extra minutes to look over the menu, our waitress seemed visibly annoyed. She stood at our table tapping her fingers while waiting for us to order, which made us feel rushed & uncomfortable.
After we ordered, it took about 25 minutes just to receive our drinks. Later, a different server took over & told us we couldn't order appetizers with our drinks & that we had to place our entire order all at once, which was surprising & not something we've experienced at other restaurants.
The food itself was good, but it wasn't good enough to justify the high prices, especially given the disappointing service. We don't mind paying more for a great dining experience, but unfortunately the poor customer service overshadowed the meal. We left feeling disappointed & wouldn't choose to return.
Absolutely amazing! The baked salmon was the best I've ever had-perfectly cooked, flavorful, & incredibly fresh. The service was friendly, & the atmosphere in Pointe-Claire Village was warm & welcoming. I'll definitely be back!
This is our go to in the west island...But the last few times I've been the service has been quite terrible. We were 4 people , & 2 of us received our mains without the side dishes that were included. We inquired....& the plates arrived as we were finishing our main. I am not looking for an apology but at least an acknowledgement of the delay?! We've given this one too many second chances.
